Terri sung happily when she spotted Logan. The Jigglypuff danced around the trainer and excitedly held out a package of Skittles with a card attached to it.

The sound of the Pokemon caught Logan's attention and he stared at it confused as it came up to him and started dancing. When he looked at the card though, he beamed.

"Terri! Aw Mel... Terri, you make sure you tell Mel thank you as best you can, okay?" Logan said to the Pokemon, giving it a quick hug before sending her on her way.

The Nightmare

Logan lay on the couch in the main area of the detective agency. He'd curled up happily with a blanket and pillow, wishing Emma and Serena a good night as they went off to their rooms - or, in Serena's case, Logan's room. Now it was the middle of the night, and Logan found himself tossing slightly on the couch.

Cold

Fingers scratch the cliff's edge

Ice

Can't breathe

Frozen inside and out

Desperate beating on your chest

Can't see

Can't talk

Only listen

To the tears

Feel the water close in

No longer ground beneath your feet

Feel yourself fa-

Logan leaped up to a sitting position, a hand clutching at his chest, a phantom pain lingering for just a moment before fading away.

"Logan?!" Serena cried out in surprise from the end of the couch, quickly moving to his side. "What was it?"

Logan could only answer in shaky breaths, unable to move his head to even look at her.

Frowning, Serena pulled him into a hug, and they sat there for awhile as Logan's breaths evened out. Once he'd calmed down he turned and returned the hug.

"What happened?" Serena asked as they pulled apart, her hand staying his shoulders.

"N-Nightmare..." Logan mumbled.

"One that left you stunned and breathless?" Serena asked.

"...W-Well..." Logan stuttered. "M-More of a... memory... a-and a what if..."

Serena's frown deepened. "A what if of what?"

Logan swallowed. "T-The... the bridge..." He choked out.

Serena's eyes widened. "You... you're having nightmares about falling from the... oh!"

As Serena cried out, she wrapped herself around Logan again, and he began crying. "I-I almost died! I-I just think of everyone around me crying as I lose conciousness and I can't even open my eyes because they're frozen shut and my lungs are freezing, a-a-a-a-and..."

The rest of Logan's words were lost in tears and they sat there crying.

"You can have the bed back," Serena said after the tears had stopped.

"No. No, I'll be fine, I just-"

"Take it. Please?" Serena said, pulling away to look Logan in the eyes.

"It won't matter... I've had the stupid thing almost every night for the last three weeks..."

"Come on," Serena said, pulling Logan up off the couch and into his room.

Without any further protests Logan got into his bed and Serena made sure Logan was tucked in snugly. Logan was practically half asleep again by the time he'd lain down, so Serena didn't have to wait long for him to fall completely asleep again.

She smiled and leaned in to kiss him on the forehead before heading back to the main room, pausing in the doorway just long enough to whisper "Sweet dreams."

A Beautiful Sight

"Guys!" Logan shouted, bursting through the door to the Looker Detective Agency. "You'll never guess what I saw!"

"L-Logan?" Serena asked, jumping slightly at her place on the couch. She had decided to stay for awhile and take a short break from her training to spend some time with Logan and Emma. "I-I thought you were looking for new Pokemon..."

"Yeah I was!" Logan exclaimed, pulling out his Pokedex and walking over.

Over his week gone, Logan had decided he was going to try and fill out his Pokedex between time spent waiting for clients at the agency, which, wasn't exactly booming with customers.

"I was just cruising around looking for some when I saw this," Logan said, holding up the entry on his 'Dex he'd just opened.

Serena's eyes went wide.

"What, what'd he see?" Emma said, popping out of her room.

"You... really?" Serena asked, looking between the Pokedex and Logan's grinning face.

"What'd he see!?" Emma cried out, trying to shove her way up next to Serena.

Once she finally got an eye on it, her eyes went wide too. "Zapdos!?"

"Yeah!" Logan said with a laugh. "Zapdos! A Legendary Pokemon! From Kanto! I don't even know what it's doing here! Sycamore said something about migration, but, it's here!"

Serena reached over the couch to hug him. "That's amazing! Did you catch it?"

Logan hugged back, although went a bit silent at the question. He pulled back from the hug. "Err, no. I didn't. It really surprised me, and in the brief time I saw it, it got away."

"Smooth move," Emma said dryly.

Logan glared daggers at her, but Serena spoke up before he could retort. "So are you going to try and find it again? Is that even possible?"

Logan's face brightened again. "Yeah! Sycamore said the Pokedex can track it's current location, and it seems to be sticking around Kalos for now."

"Well what are you doing here?" Emma asked. "Go out and find it!"

"Yeah! I think I wi-" Logan started saying as he turned to head out.

He was interrupted by Serena grabbing the back of his collar. "I don't think so! It's going to get dark right away, you've been gone all day."

Logan looked at his watch as Emma giggled softly. "Oh. Right. Tomorrow then!"

"That sounds like a better idea," Serena said, shaking her head and smiling. "Get some sleep, get an early start tomorrow."

To seal the plan, she leaned over one more time and kissed Logan on the cheek, to which he went red in a split second flat. "R-Right... I-I'll just, uh..."

As Logan wandered off to his room, Serena sighed and smiled. "That boy always seems like he's about to fall apart."

"Tell me about it," Emma agreed.

Day 25 - Morning

Well. I guess I'm co-running the Looker Detective Agency with Emma now. Haven't got any clients yet, but that's not surprising. We took it upon ourselves to set up something akin to bedrooms for ourselves, since we're both basically living there too.

I guess it's not too bad a situation, but... it's really weird to be sitting around not doing anything. I spent two weeks traveling across Kalos, every day going somewhere new. Now... I'm just sitting in Lumiose. And I still get lost.

I dunno. Bleh.

Looker Detective Agency Chapter 6: Here's Lookin' At You Kid - 3

As I headed out of the Museum, I thought I saw Looker out of the corner of my eye. I dashed after him, catching him in front of the train station. He started to say how he was surprised I’d found him, but quickly recanted it before complimenting me on my detective abilities, and how they’d grown during my time with him. He was just telling me about how all the stolen Pokemon had been returned when Emma caught up to me.

She ran straight into Looker, giving him a hug. She asked why he had to leave, and he looked at me and said “I have to”. Looking into his eyes, I could see he really did have to, and the pain he was feeling in needing to do so. I just nodded in understanding.

Looker had a few more surprises left for us, however. He left the Looker Detective Bureau to Emma, saying she would lead it now. To help her with this, he handed over Xerosic’s Pokeballs and the Expansion Suit. He explained that the remote control device had been removed, and it was safe for use. Emma gave Looker one last hug before he finally lifted her away and walked into the train station.

We stood there for a moment, recalling our memories of our new friend and mentor. I put my arm around Emma’s shoulder and she cried silently into my side. Not for very long, she’s a strong girl, but she had to get it out.

I think I might invite some people over to the Bureau soon, let Emma meet my friends.

((So this is where I'm more-or-less ending Logan's big event updates. I'll still have some things to post, but this is going to be Logan's "end state" in a way I guess. Everything's all wrapped up, and he's basically got his home base at the Bureau in Lumiose. He'll be keeping an ear out for troubles and traveling around Kalos looking for Pokemon, so I'm pretty free-reign as far as RP'ing goes.))

Looker Detective Agency? Chapter 6: Here's Lookin' At You Kid - 2

I lost Emma when one of the gang members cut me off at a corner, but although I was in a rush to get going, he mentioned getting brushed off by Looker earlier. I quickly asked him where he'd seen him, and he said up at the Museum. I immediately turned and skated off to the Museum, but after searching each floor, all I found was the Museum director in front of the now-repaired mural. He said that the suspect of the vandalism had been apprehended. Considering that it was Xerosic's doing, that must mean Looker's booked him.

Feeling a bit defeated, I headed out of the museum, but ran into someone who recognized me as the guy who first investigated the vandalism, saying he'd seen the police offer walk out looking sad and wondering why that would be. Sounds like Looker doesn't want to leave any more than we want him to. I've gotta keep looking!

Looker Detective Agency Chapter 6: Here's Lookin' At You Kid

Emma called me saying she had exciting news and to meet her at the Bureau. I rushed over, and she said Looker was finally getting getting released from the hospital. I knew he wasn't allowed to leave, he must've snuck out.

Suddenly Mimi ran in shouting, and Emma spotted something in her hands. We took it from her and found it was a letter addressed to us. Looker said he wasn't a detective at all, but instead a member of the Pokemon International Police! He also said the hospital stay was a lie, and he was leaving Kalos due to his mission or something being completed. He'd apparently bought the building the the Bureau was in so that Emma and Mimi could keep living there. He also... he... he left me with his codename, Looker, since he wasn't going to use it any more...

I'm not sure how to feel about that. Emma figured he can't have gone far and ran off to find him. I'm just doing my best to keep up.

Looker Detective Agency Chapter 5: A Fiery Woman and a Truth Revealed - 4

Just as I was about to leave the room, Xerosic walked in and found me holding one of the books with his research on the Expansion Suit. He quickly summoned "Essentia" which I now know is Emma trapped inside the Expansion Suit. While Xerosic is remote controlling the suit though, I wasn't able to get through to Emma, so I was forced to battle her.

Xerosic refused to give up and made "Essentia" battle me three times in a row. My Pokemon were getting tired after having battled our way here in the first place, but before Xerosic could sic Essentia on me a fourth time, Looker burst in with Mimi. I gotta say... it was good to see him, even though I was sure he shouldn't be out of the hospital. He really seems to trust me, too... but even together we couldn't get through the Expansion Suit to Emma. Xerosic just stood behind her and laughed at us.

Mimi refused to give up though, and ran up to Essentia. She must have done something because the Expansion Suit started making a strange noise. Mimi retreated, and we heard Emma cry out from inside the suit. Xerosic refused to give up, and increased the power on the remote control, forcing Essentia to battle again, but she definitely seemed out of it.

After I defeated her, the suit started making the strange noises again, but surprisingly Xerosic then deactivated the remote control. Emma woke up, truly having no idea of what had occurred. Looker told me to go with Emma, so I'm not entirely sure what happened next... I'm just glad Emma's safe.

Looker Detective Agency Chapter 5: A Fiery Woman and a Truth Revealed - 3

I followed Malva down into Lysandre Labs. I didn't think I'd ever be here again. I don't like being here. Malva punched a code into the elevator, allowing me access to a secret floor of the facility where I could find Xerosic. She also said something about having kept up her end of a deal with Looker, and that he better hold up his end. I'll have to ask him about that later...

I made my way through the floor, encountering a couple scientists but curiously also the Lumiose Gang members from the train station. They seem to be completely unaware of what's going on here, and so let them be. The final one let me into a back room he said no one's supposed to be in, but since it was me, he figured it was okay. What was inside brought on an anger I don't think I've ever felt, not even back when I was fighting against Lysandre.

Xerosic had tricked Emma. She had no idea what she was doing. He was remote controlling the Expansion Suit while Emma is inside, causing her to basically be asleep while the suit commits crimes for Xerosic.

I'm going to crush him.

((Wow okay this has been sitting here waaaay too long, time to do this.))

"Moving!?" Logan asked incredulously. "What... why?"

"Because I'm retiring," his mom replied.

"Again? What is this, the fifth time?"

His mom chuckled. "No, smartass, this is the second time. The first time was because I had to raise you until you were old enough to stay by yourself. Now... well, Ryhorn's just getting tired out."

"Okay... but why are we moving?" Logan asked, still unsure.

"Well... it's kind of expensive here. Besides, maybe it'd be nice to move somewhere a little smaller. You might actually meet someone. Maybe even a girl!"

"Mom!" Logan shouted, blushing a little and turning back towards his room as his mother laughed. "So where are we going? And when?"

"Another region, Kalos. A little town near the south border, Vaniville Town."

"Another region!?" Logan exclaimed, spinning back around after playing with his room's doorknob. "But I need to challenge Blue!"

His mother sighed. "I know, Logan, but we can always find a way back. Besides, you might really like Kalos."

It was Logan's turn to sigh. "I guess... Whatever, it's not like I know anyone here anyway."

With that Logan opened his door and closed it. His mother sighed again. "You'll be happy once you reach Kalos. Samuel and I have already planned it out."

Looker Detective Agency Chapter 5: A Fiery Woman and a Truth Revealed - 2

I made it up to the Royal Suite and was surprised to find Malva waiting for me. She said she called me here to talk about a Trainer named Essentia, and confirmed that it was Emma, wearing a piece of special technology called the Expansion Suit, which was created by Dr. Xerosic.

Yeah. Xerosic. From Team Flare. The guy who activated the weapon even though I hit the right button. Malva wants me to make him "disappear". I don't like how she said it, and I wouldn't ever go that far... I hope. That wasn't all though, the way Malva was talking, she was a member of Team Flare.

I thought Team Flare had been shut down but... well now I feel stupid. Tess and Theodore ambushed me at Pokemon Village still as members of Team Flare, why didn't that tip me off!? Ugh, I just let them get away...

Well, I didn't like Malva before, and now I'm on the verge of hating her, but she doesn't seem to like Xerosic any more than I do, so I guess I'll have to trust her for now. We're off to Lysandre's Cafe, so I'll update when I'm finished there...

Looker Detective Agency Chapter 5: A Fiery Woman and a Truth Revealed

I got a message from Emma! I ran back to the Bureau to meet her, but she looked normal... she was worried about Looker, but said she needed money to see him, and then said she was late for something and ran off before I could get a word in edgewise. I was going to run after her, but then an old man came into the Bureau and cut me off, challenging me to a battle. Knowing how fast Emma could move, I knew I'd already lost her, and the man had come here for a reason, so I figured I might as well fight him and see what he had to say.

He said something about the Royal Suite in the hotel, and ran off, not wanting to anger his "mistress". So I guess I'm headed over there...

Day 21 - Morning

Sorry I haven't updated for awhile... but nothing's really happened either. Halloween Night I went to Koru's party - no, ball, I guess - with Serena. The next day I spent with Serena, Shauna, Trevor and Tierno, just kind of hanging out.

Yesterday I started getting worried about Looker. He's still in the hospital from the injuries he sustained against... whatever that was in the alleyway... Aside from paying him a visit, I didn't do much.

I'm not sure what to do today either... I'm feeling a bit lost...

Day 19 - Morning

Not sure what I’m going to do today… I’m not sure what else there is, aside from waiting for Looker’s next assignment…

Oh, I know, I could go visit that man and the Vulpix I gave him. That sounds like a good idea.

Logan knocked on the door to the old man’s house, but heard no answer. Frowning in confusion, he tried opening the door, and it swung with no resistance. Walking inside, he saw the house was empty of life, except for a Pokeball sitting in the middle of the floor, next to a letter. Logan walked over and picked both up.

Dear Logan,

Thanks to the kindess you and your Vulpix showed me, I was able to keep smiling until the very end. I apologize that I can’t look after Vulpix anymore, but I know you’ll take care of it. Finally, please take this Comet Shard as a token of my thanks.

A single tear fell on to the letter as Logan let Vulpix out of her Pokeball. Logan knelt down and Vulpix jumped up into his arms, and he stood there for a while holding her, before going back to the Pokemon Center.

Looker Detective Agency Chapter 4: An Unforgivable Crime - 3

...It wasn't multiple people. It was one person. It... it was Emma..

I don't want to believe it either, but Looker's right, the only person Mimi would react to like that is Emma... What happened to her? She's some kind of robotic, shapeshifting monster now...

Whoever did this will pay.

Looker Detective Agency Chapter 4: An Unforgivable Crime - 2

Well the museum was pretty much a bust. The only problem was a graffiti'd painting, and the museum owner didn't seem all that upset about it, really. I headed out when I got another alert on my holo caster, this time about some one - or some ones - that had been stealing Pokemon off trainers after battling them. Before I even had time to get mad about that, Looker contacted me about it and told me to meet him at the Bureau. Once there, we went over a plan to catch the thieves, where I play the victim, and then Looker surrounds them and we take them down.

These thieves are going down.
