This is a super cheesy-doodle that I’ve been kicking around for YEARS. I discovered the art of altalamatox (who doesn’t seem to have a tumblr I can find) forever ago and just fell in love with her style. And also characters. So when I tossed together my dumping ground for everything characters, The Archive, I couldn’t help but snicker at the idea of her lovably Benjamin Brakenridge meeting Fredric Dewitt. These lovely nerds both work in pseudo-libraries and can turn into cats.

So, I’m just realizing that it’s been nearly a year since I last posted to this blog and that... doesn’t feel really good. Because that means I haven’t felt proud of anything art wise to want to throw it over here and maybe have someone look at it. But now that I’ve hit nearly 350 followers on my main (which to me is mind blowing), I’m going to try to make it my mission in 2018 to post here on a monthly basis, even if it’s just some dumb sketch. I’ll also be doing my best to open my commissions up more (update my sheet and also TAKE SOME.), so if you like my stuff and want to see something made, you’re in luck.

So in the last month I binged Both TWD comic and TWD telltale game, and I gotta say I’m pumed to power through seasons 3 and onward of the game and show. 

I absolutelty LOVED older Rick’s design and after thinking just how much the loss of everyone over the course of his life must weigh on him, as well as seeing this cool comic book cover, I decided to draw this.

I've had one heck of a dry spell, but I finally sat down and drew some good stuff. Melody and Fredric (first image) are both mine, Zypher and Maddi are @galaxiea and mine (second image), and Edwin and Hesper are mine and Mika's. 10/10 feelin great about these.

While this is already up on my dA, I feel that it’s a good first post to have here. the items are as follows:

1 - Meet Rachael (she's a fox). I'm not going to say much about her, cause I'm working on a ref sheet. 2 - Meet Melody (she's a shark). See tail end of 1 3 -  The main focus of the comic i plan to make concerning the Mix & Mingle crew. I haven't setted on a name for her yet (or I've forgotten. I seem to do that a lot with my characters), but I will once I've posted a ref sheet for her. 4 - The main four owners of the Mix & Mingle. (L to R) Krystal, Emmi (Unicorn) , Melody, and Rachael 5 - Meet Krystal (She's a dragon). I recently found and fell in love with the new animated show Miraculous: Adventures of Ladybug and Chat Noir, and I can't help but ship the main characters, who are both giant dorks 26 (The one that isn't numbered) - This was a class project for my mythology class. We were tasked with creating Achilles Shield, and I kinda went a wee bit overboard. I got three times full credit.
