Okay okay it’s been like 2 whole weeks and I haven’t updated y’all cause it’s been insane!!!!

Context for those who aren’t caught up: last week me and my dad were staying at our beach house together for the week, but we got there on Saturday of the weekend before. That night I told him all about my feelings for him while we had a little picnic on the beach 🥹🥹 anyways he said he needed time to think but he let me kiss him still 😆😆😆 and that’s where it left off!! Back to what’s been happening!!

So basically on the Tuesday of last week (the week after I confessed) I got tonsillitis (lucky me…) and it took me like 5 n 1/2 days to recover and I still had a fever and stuffed nose afterwards until recently!! I’m fine now tho 👍

But anyway that kinda put our plans for that week on hold until another time. But after that week had passed, I was still off school cause I was still ill (stuffed nose and fever like I said earlier) and because it still kinda hurt to talk we hadn’t had a chat about the confession. Until now!!

So I was mostly recovered on Friday (yesterday), and my dad decided to take me to our favourite cafe and since I was feeling fine with talking, we had a convo! We ate some food (I had a muffin, raisin cause that’s the only good kind other than chocolate!) and had some coffee and he basically said that he’d had a long thought about it and said that he still wasn’t sure about it, and that he could tell I was excited about the idea but was concerned if maybe someone had been grooming me or if he had been grooming me without even realising it or something and it took a minute to calm him down and like explain that I really did want this of my own volition. I could tell he wasn’t fully convinced, so I showed him some stuff I made about him (some posts on this tumblr too!) and I even let him read my diary entry from like 2 years ago when I realised I had a crush on him to show him this had been something I’ve been thinking and feeling for a long time now!!

It took him a moment to like,, process it all but that he said if it was really truly what I wanted then he would be happy to try this (as in us in a relationship) out and see where it went. I was sooooo happy and excited and just sooo relieved tbh cause I thought he was gonna be like super upset or something but he wasn’t >///u///<

I did ask him if he loved me the way I loved him and he was quiet for a little before saying he wasn’t sure. He assured me that he definitely loved me as a daughter (and I told him I definitely also still loved him as my dad) but he wasn’t too sure if he loved me or could love me in any other way, but he said this relationship could change that he would let me know if it did change!!

I just love him soo much guys :))))

Anyways that’s basically it, like I said that happened yesterday and we went home and cuddled for a bit while I did some work for art class. Feel free to ask questions if you have any <3

Okay guys I almost forgot to post, but like omg so much happened today!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay so we left early in the morning today so we could drop off our bags at our beach house that we’re spending the weekend (+the whole of next week) at. Then we kinda just went around town and shopped a little. Then tonight went to a really nice place for dinner and had a really good time. Afterwards we went to the park and picked flowers.

Then we went back to the house and had this pretty little picnic/desert on the beach, and I told him like everything. Honestly I can’t remember everything I said cause I was so nervous but I definitely cried.

It was a little complicated and I could tell he was confused and concerned but after a few hours I think he sorta got it. He said he needed time to process and think about all of this and that he wasn’t sure if we could be together cause it sounded like really predatory and unsafe to him :((( But then I asked if I could kiss him at least once and he was quiet for a bit but he said YESSSS🥹🥹🥹😆😆😆 It was so amazing and I love himmmmmmm. 😭😭😭

Ugh I hope he says yes to the relationship thing cause omg I’m literally gonna cry and die and throw up if he says no omg/hj TnT
