HOW YOU CAN ORGANIZE YOUR BLOG

If you're new to tumblr and get a bit overwhelmed on how to organize your blog amongst all the reblogging and posting, fearing that your own work might get lost amongst the flood, here are a few things that are useful:

// TAGS ARE YOUR FRIENDS! //

Simply tag your posts and your reblogs with something that will be easier for you to identify and use. For example, for your own content, tags like "[yourusername]", "my art", etc. and "reblogs", "not my art", etc. for things you want to share.

// LINK THEM TO YOUR BLOG PAGE //

You can then create specific links on your blog for each tag that you find relevant to highlight, to make the browsing easier. For that, just go to your Dashboard, "Edit Appearence > Edit theme", then scroll down to the end where it says "add a page". On the dropdown menu where it reads "standard layout" choose "link" and give it a title. On the link put "https://[yourblogname].tumblr.com/tagged/[the tag you want]. DONE^^

// YOU CAN ALWAYS JUST CREATE MULTIPLE BLOGS //

One other strategy that some prefer is to simply just create a secondary blog to share content while keeping the main one just for their own posts. More on that HERE!
