Been a while since I've fallen so quickly and so thoroughly into a hyperfixation, but Hazbin Hotel has me by the neck. Especially the pairing of Angel Dust and Husker.

My favorite parts of this to draw: Husk's murder face, Valentino's coughing and retching sound effects, and Angel draping himself over Husk at the end.

(The last panel came to me as an afterthought, hence why it's a separate image.)

Lloyd Darkley AU

In this AU, Lloyd was dropped of at Darkley's earlier than canon. He was too young to attend classes, so they gave him a room and let him wander until he was old enough. He was basically raised by students and teachers, and was taught tricks by the worst of the worst at Darkley’s. Lloyd was never bullied because he's liked by the older students

He was too young to the extent he doesn't remember Misako or Garmadon because of how young he was, not even knowing his last name. The bone sweater is the only thing he remembers from his early years-which he eventually sewed into a jacket.

He goes by the name Lloyd Darkley, and has spent his life carrying that as his name as he sees the school as his home.

(...Lloyd's life takes a turn when he steals stuff from certain people who may or may not be ninjas.)

Parallel between Arin/Percival and Lloyd/Brad

Someone said that the Arin/Percival ship is next gen Lloyd/Brad, and now I can’t stop thinking about the parallels between the two.

So in both pairings, we have one character being a ninja and on the good side, while the other character is indoctrinated by their school or place of living. Who then turn to the side of good after interaction with the ninja character. The ninja character convincing them that they are capable of good.

Lloyd and Arin are both Ninjas. Brad and Percival are the characters getting indoctrinated by their institutions. Brad with Darkley’s and Percival with Imperium. Both ships have one character sporting a ninja gi, while the other character wears a uniform.

In both ships, the way the two characters meet is that they share a similarities.

For Lloyd/Brad, it was them being good. When Lloyd first met Brad. Brad was nice to him, and Lloyd was considered the good kid. It’s like the two goodie two shoes magnetically finding each other. Lloyd also sensed some goodness within Brad and knows that whatever Brad does is not meant spirited.

Arin and Percival has a similar vibe. They’re Fanboys of a certain thing they like, and thinks they’re doing good based on what they idolize. They both want to help others, and immediately connect on that aspect. Before Arin found out that Percival wanted to join the claws of Imperium, he felt like someone understood him. And when he first met Percival, the guy had a team to do good deeds around the city. Minus the loyalty to Imperium thing, Arin could feel Percival’s pure intentions that stems out of good nature. Just like how Lloyd could sense that Brad had a good heart.

Lastly, both of these ships have the ninja character convince the other character to side to join them. One character in both ships ends up switching sides.

When Lloyd was tied up at Darkley’s. He brings up that Brad was a good kid, and convinces the rest of the students to help him and the ninjas. After that Darkley’s academy for bad boys became Wu’s academy for great students.

For Arin and Percival, what Arin did in Imperium helped Percival realize that Beatrix was lying about everything. It made it lead the resistance, and at the end he reformed Imperium for the better.

That’s all of the things I can think on top of my head regarding the parallels between these two ships. If I find more. I’ll talk about it.

And I actually like that concept, it makes me think in a way where garmadon had daddy issues and now that's transfered to his son, Lloyd 🤔
