sometimes agere is just daydreaming about all the baby stuff and not actually doing much of it at all irl. sometimes some of the things you love to daydream about are not things you would find fulfilling or fun in practice and that is okay and valid! your regression is valid whether you enjoy those things or not!

it always amuses me when people make a regression post about a character and need an image and they pick a frame of them pulling an expression or doing a pose that's so brief you'll miss it if you blink.

Canonically in that scene the character was just shrugging but they looked babie for 0.3 seconds and people took that frame and ran

I liked the book better but yeah I can see it- Rocky thinks these are normal Human Things- Grace is probs embarassed about regressing like Rocky is about eating and it IS kinda similar so Grace doesnt contradict him

Yapping below because I'm not normal about them and I'm feeling particularly mentally ill rn

They tried the whole each other as a caregiver thing but Patton wouldn't listen to Virgil's wants and more so projected his own wants onto him meanwhile Virgil would get paranoid about Patton since Pat loves being active and a rather chaotic kid. They were swiftly not allowed to be each others caregivers for their own wellbeing.

Alternatively, when they're both little they work well together. Virgil helps keep Pat entertained so he's less likely to run and sneak around while Patton helps Virgil feel more comfortable being little like being open about how much he loves his Mama (Janus) and loves things like being bottle fed.

So like. We know there was a time back when Thomas was a child where his creativity was one entity, and I think Roman and Remus both share memories of that time (although maybe they start to get fuzzy around the time they separated but that's a different conversation)

So I think it would be interesting if when they regress, their personalities shift slightly closer to each other.

Like, everyone expects for Roman to be a sweet child who wants to color and play dress up, and for Remus to be a bit of a troublemaker who wants to pick up bugs and splash around in mud, but in reality they're both equally likely to do either of those things because they're regressing back to a time before anyone had decided that there was a "right" and "wrong" way to play
