A bit about me

Hello,

I was told that doing an introductory post for a blog (if that is what this is) is a good thing to do so here I am.

I'm a 3rd year medical student (help) and really interested specifically in emergency medicine.

Things me likey: I like non-men, artsy stuff (too many to list), climbing, running, hiking, birding, gaming (ish), anxious gay music, reading 2 pages and getting annoyed at books, attacking geese and killing plants (not exhaustive list).

I lied I don't actually like running I do it because I like validation and my dumb ass decided to train for a half marathon (which I have a horrible predicted time for).

Things I hate: group sports, people who talk loudly, my mother, messy things (they cause depression), getting out of bed, large groups of (loud) humans, foetuses, politicians.

If ur gay or tired all the time, you probably have anaemia.

Hola amiges!

I managed to do a p good birding session today at a marsh/estuary environmental which is quite different from the usual field or forest that I bird in!

Here is a really cute bird that I think everyone should know about. It's a Northern Lapwing and although it iridescent feathers are really pretty looking and the way it flies is quite charming, dipping and darting around like a fighter jet with a drunk pilot, i think the most important fact about is that it sounds like computers. It's constantly making whirring and zipping noises along with this sharp shrill, EEEEEEE that is really funny when there's a flock of 30 of them and that's all they're doing.

There was a bunch of those today which was nice...

The next bird and a new bird I haven't seen before is this Common Snipe! It's much smaller than I thought it would be, I thought it would be Mallard sized but it was about the size of a Little Grebe or Blackbird. You could definitely eat it like popcorn I think. It landed right near the bird hide and barely moved an inch for around 40 minutes. It was really cute and cool to see so up close...

There was also a few Common Redshanks, which I unfortunately did not get to take a photo of because I was so focused on just looking at them but hopefully I will get to take a photo of them soon!!!

Hopefully I'll bird soon so I can take more photos and report back my findings <3

Hello, being dead and not very active online cuz I'm trying to do as much revision as I can. I keep taking days off of uni and being more productive at home so my productiveness outweighs the guilt. But I am still very stressed about my exams which are in a month and feel like I am going to fail them :(
