It’s amazing how all the happiness that I’ve had for years just vanished over the course of 3 days. The worst part was I got to watch a speed run of her falling out of love in real time and the pain it was causing us both.

But I really appreciate them now. It seemed back then books sold so well, particularly Asimov, that you could put any old thing on the cover and you’d sell a bunch more
