A guide for moving in a new town:
As soon as you arrive to your destination, find a bridge. There's always a bridge; its appearance doesn't matter, search everywhere for one. Once you do so, pay respect to it...or something unexpected may happen.
A group of elderly people will come and visit you once a week. Always accept their visits. They're not bad people, but they shouldn't be ignored. They'll tell you legends about the old town; feel free to believe or to not believe them.
When you decide to take a walk, always lock every door and window. They think you're inviting them. Make sure to get all kinds of keys that are able to open any entrance of your house with you. If you do that; do not worry: nothing will happen to you.
If you ever wake up in the middle of the night to a scratching noise coming from your closet, do not panic: they took a liking to you to your presence, unlike the previous owners, and won't do harm. But if it's coming from under your bed, stay still. Don't move. It'll stop once it gets tired.
Sometimes when you wake up and head out of your room, you might notice that some objects are in places you don't remember putting them in. Don't think about it too much; place them back like they were before.
If you're planning on inviting a friend over, make sure to put a “Do Not Disturb!” sign outside your house. If you don't own one, go to an antique shop: these ones work best rather than the ones from a regular shop.
When passing the abandoned church, always wave. When passing the abandoned church, always wave. When passing the abandoned church, always wave. When passing the abandoned church, always wave.
Everyday during the time of the sunset, go stand on your porch and stare at the sky for exactly ten minutes. If a group of crows is spotted; you can do as you wish. However, if you spot one single crow, immediately go back inside, lock everything up and turn off any source of light. DO NOT PEAK OUTSIDE!!! It's much safer that way.
It's possible that you'll hear voices through out the day, feel free to start a conversation with them. They might do something nice in return if you tell them archaic stories.
It's best to have a weapon kept with you at all times, especially during sleepless nights. You never know who you're up against.
Always trust your guts. They can sense danger and things that are invisible to your other senses.
Occasionally when you're out, wild horses can be spotted. If you're lucky, they'll come closer and let you pet them. Some may walk besides you for a while before vanishing until they're seen again next time.
For some reasons, a garden of tulip is spread all around the town. No one knows who planted them, neither how long they've been here. You're allowed to pick some and take them back with you. DO NOT BRING THEM ANYWHERE ELSE!!!
A picnic sounds really fun, just make sure to respect Nature. If you bring a small memorial with you and bury it somewhere nearby, they'll be very happy.
Everybody in the town loves you. They'll be happy to help you with anything.
The safest place in here is the local library located right besides the psychic shop. Any other library you see is not a library, and neither it is safe.
I crave space. It charges my batteries. It helps me breathe. Being around people can be so exhausting, because most of them love to take and barely know how to give - except for a rare few.

Coworker
Anar is a slouching, scrawny looking man in his early 40s. Anar doesn’t talk much. Anar told me what to look out for during inspections of the factory. Anar wears the same sweater and jeans every day. Anar has not said a word when i was assigned to him for a week. Anar speaks only our local language that i’m not good at. Anar was very calmly explaining to me his job in simple terms for good 50 minutes. Anar came to this company when i was having my internship, has only been here for 3 months and has not made friends so far. Anar helped me when i was panicking over a task, i haven’t even asked him to. Anar usually sits in his part of the office, works and sometimes makes small talk. Anar told me how to navigate weird situation with a worker, when it was shit subordination wise. Anar always eats alone. Anar told me that i can ask him when im not sure about something just to check. Anar does namaz 5 times per day. Anar took me on the inspection with him and wanted my input like i could know what i’m doing. Anar is extremely meticulous at his job, which is basically like picking what people did wrong in the paper work. Anar is just a really good coworker. And i have father issues.
Night Shift Gothic
Make a routine when you wake up. The more predictable you are, the less likely it is to view you as a threat.
Never run to your car. Always walk. Only prey runs, and you do not wish to be prey.
Never look around in the dark. The things that are hidden wish to remain so, and you looking would only incense them.
If something brushes your leg as you walk, don’t look. It is merely curious, and your fear is delicious.
Your cat will not be as it is supposed to. Cats are affected differently in this time. You will not be able to trust them as you would in the daytime.
Don’t look in the backseat. It does not wish to be seen.
Always bring a bottle of water with you. You can never be sure how long the ride will be.
Don’t be frightened when that water disappears. They’re just getting a taste.
The animals you see outside are most certainly real. No matter how many heads they have.
The people you meet, even the ones you work with, will be different in the daytime. Perhaps the night is their true form, perhaps the night is a different version of themself. Either way, they will not be the same when the sun rises.
You may not remember everything that happens during these times. That’s okay. Sometimes it’s better to forget.
If you see a car on the side of the road, drive past it. Never get out of your car, and never open your window to whatever approaches you. It is not human.
Get in your car, drive to whatever place you need to be, and get out of the car. Don’t look around, don’t question the faces in the mirror. If you don’t look back you have nothing to fear.
When you get to your workplace, the security lights may not work sometimes. This is normal. They’re just testing their limits.
We don’t talk about what they do when most people are asleep. It’s not our business to know. If you knew, you would never sleep again.
