“Good point.” He sighs, expecting a Leprechaun joke “but yes, I’m Irish. Got the green hair as a gaff for St. Patrick’s day and liked how it looked, so I kept it”

“So how old are ya then?” Hal asks curiously, his twang coming through slightly. “I don’t think I could put up with a name I didn’t like for that long.” And he didn’t, for the longest time no one was allowed to call him Hal in Hell, the tortured ones had to call him Halzhar. It was insisted upon.
Dormin had to pause to think for a moment, he had honestly stopped counting “Around 400 I believe? I moved to America in ‘65 or ‘67. It’s when I started racing.”

“Erm, not as much as I probably should,” she laughed. “I only do what is needed to stay healthy. Though being a demon has its perks,” she added. “I don’t really have to do much. But for appearance sake, I hit the gym every now and again. “Running sounds the hardest of the exercising. I know a lot of people say it clears the mind, but it just makes me winded. Are you done for the day or you need to take another lap?”
“It’s really not that hard.” He said smiling “You get used to it after a while, you just gotta start small and move at your own pace. It really can allow you some time to just let go.” He picks up his back and shoves the water bottle back inside and moves it to his shoulder “I’m done running for the day. Normally after a couple laps, I take a short walk to relax.”

“You seem to have a good eye to me,” she grinned. “Awe, no worries! I totally get what you mean.” She adored honest people, so she already liked him. “Do you exercise a lot?” she asked after taking moment to look him over. He seemed fit. Rosie exercised casually. She had always felt that those who exercised were dedicated and by extension loyal. They were able to keep doing something that was, in her opinion, a challenge.
“Thanks.” He takes a sip from his water bottle. “I try to excercise regularly. I mostly just run and, though I don’t look it, a bit of weight lifting.” He wasn’t to big on excercising, but there were aspects about it that he liked. For example he loved how running gave him an escape at times. A way to clear his head and just let go. “What about you? Do you like to excercise?”

“Hi,” she smiled back. She had ben taking pictures to post on her Instagram, and was trying to decide which style to go with. “Do you mind helping me out?” she asked holding her camera in her hand. She sat down next to him and showed him the viewfinder. “I can’t decide if I should go with this style or this one?” she asked showing him the images.

“Um...No problem.” Don leaned over a bit to get a better look he wasn’t much of an artist and didn’t really have a good eye for photography, but one image really caught his eye “I’m not really a photographer, but I like the second one.” Dormin said smiling “I don’t know there’s just something I really like about how only one one flower is in focus. To me it kinda makes it stand out more if that makes any sense.”
Don stared from the little box to the camera feeling a little nervous. He hadn’t really had the time to communicate with very many of the people here. He had really only had a prolonged conversation with that guy from the park. They seemed to have a pretty civil conversation, so why not? “Um...I haven’t really interacted with more than like a couple people and really I’ve only talk to one person at length So I’m going to go with Hal? I think that’s his name.

Matilda enjoyed sitting in the sunlight on the grass with her eyes closed. She called it People-listening, kind of like people-watching, except she’d let her mind open up and hear the thoughts of those closest in distance to her. She’d hear a couple words, then close them off again to conserve power, while proceeding to fill in the gaps of what she learned, making up stories, solving pretend mysteries. Her conscience didn’t mind the invasiveness; she figured that it was about as invasive as listening to someone else’s conversation, which everyone did all the time. She lay there in the grass, relaxed, solving the mystery of a bartender’s missing fifty-dollar bill, when she heard another voice. The voice of someone on the show. She opened her eyes to look at them, only a few feet away from her. She waved to get their attention. “What are you thinking about?” she asked them innocently.
Dormin was drawn out of his thoughts by another cast member, yelling something about hearing his thoughts. He felt kinda perturbed by the invasion of privacy, but it’s not like he hasn’t done anything similar in the past. Don smirks “It’s not exactly polite to listen in to another’s thoughts” He says jokingly “In all honesty I’m not thinking of anything particularly interesting. Just thinking about home. Specifically Ireland.”

“S’Alright, really, I don’t mind. You’re probably just in your head while running and exhausted or whatever.” Hal knew about exhaustion but he wouldn’t go into that right now. “Nice to meet you, Dormin. You think they’d call you Dor instead- like mine. I’m Halzhar, but you can call me Hal. American’s want it easy..”
“It’s a pleasure to meet, you Hal.” Dormin smiled “I’m fine with the nickname, they’ve pretty much have been calling me that for the past 50 years.” He said truthfully. He was kinda annoyed by the nickname at first, what’s wrong with saying Dormin it’s his name, but eventually Don became as much a part of his identity as Dormin is.

“Your backpack zipper is broken,” Matilda pointed out. “Thought you should know before you drop anything important,” she said, shrugging.
“Ah, shit really?” He says curse slipping from between his lips unintentionally. He reaches down to examine the bag and yep, the zipper had pretty much come apart. “I just got this bag not that long ago.” He looks up at the young woman in front of him. “Thanks for letting me know. Luckily for me. there is literally just a water bottle and a spare t-shirt in it at the moment.”

Sitting down, she smiles and nods her head. “Well, thank you! I was hoping to not come here when it was too crowded, but apparently, life decided to disagree with me and here we both are now.” Anastasia muses and shakes her head, a small bit of laughter escaping her throat. “Oh, I’m Anastasia, by the way.”
“Yeah, I was pretty surprised at how crowded it was when I got here myself.” He says as he looks around the crowded room. “Nice to meet you.” He places his cup down and reaches over to shake her hand “I’m Dormin.”

“Yer’welcome.” He says back with another nod, as he straightened up a bit. “I noticed, you stole my seat when I threw away my trash and he we are.” Hal smiled again. “It’ll just be something I’ll have to get dry cleaned. What’s your name, sport?”
He winces with a tiny bit of a smile on his face “Again sorry about that.” He unscrews the top to his water bottle and takes a sip. “I’m Dormin, but most people call me Don. I don’t know why it really only started when I moved to America.”

“Thanks, kid.” Hal said with a nod before hitting his jacket to get the wrinkles out of it. “I’m sure my jacket wouldn’t mind your ass on it.” He laughs out slightly. “More so- is that sweat?” The demon brings the jacket closer to his eyes to look at the small stain. “If that is from you we might have some trouble.” A joke, sure, but he liked messing with people over little stuff.
“For the first part, thanks. I guess?” His Irish accent slightly slipping through. He stepped forward and looked at the stain, grabbing a little piece of the jacket to look at it better. “For the second, part sorry. When I go running I tend to go inside my head and lose all sense of my surroundings.” He said smiling. He didn’t sense any threat from the other man’s words, he could tell that they were said in jest.

“Hi.” Hal said slightly abrupt because a genuine greeting wasn’t what he was expecting to get. “Excuse me, kid, but you’re on my jacket.” He says motioning to the bench, leaving hell meant other places were still much colder. “I kinda need that..”
Don looked at the bench and saw tha,t yep he had indeed sat on this guy’s jacket. So Don stood his feet and handed the jacket to its owner. “Your jacket.”

Fiddling with her necklace out of a nervous habit, Anastasia’s blue eyes roamed around the area, trying to find a place to sit, the coffee shop had been pretty small so it was no surprise that there was next to no room, but when she saw the empty seat, she stepped over there, clearing her throat to catch the other’s attention. “Sorry to bother you, but do you mind if I take a seat here?”
It had been a couple days since his last cup of coffee and Dormin was practically going through caffeine withdrawal. So as soon as he was done grabbing a few herbs and other supplies from the town’s witch’s store he headed straight for the coffee shop. No stops. No detours. He needed his coffee and he needed it now.
A couple hours after getting his coffee and luckily finding a table to himself in the crowded as hell shop he was flipping through a magazine when heard someone clear their throat and request to sit down. He turned to the woman, a smile lighting up his face. “It’s no problem at all! Please take a seat!”
It was a nice day so Dormin decided to go for a run in the park. Running is less of a thing he enjoys and more of a thing that he is used to doing to stay fit for racing. Most people think racing isn't something you have to stay fit for but you try to keep that wheel turned during those sharp curves with upper body strength of a noodle. 30 minutes into his run he decided to rest and sat on the first park bench he saw. He bent down to grab a bottle of water out of the small backpack he brought with him when he felt a tap on his shoulder. He looks up at the person before him "Hi" he says a smile forming on his face.
