Howdy ghesties!! It’s been brought to my concern that people don’t know my ghouls family and relation dynamic, some of my ships were seen as proship. I’d like to explain my specific ghouls family AU lore here in this post!

First, id like to mention that in my AU there are NO brothers and sisters unless specifically stated! (There will be a list down below) The way that my ghoul summoning works is through a series of selection in Hell (aka the Pit). All my ghouls are reborn souls given the chance to inhabit a ghoul body, with all of them still being their own separate people from separate families. Sometimes, if a very rare chance happens, a parent and child or a brother and sister will both be pulled from the pit at the same time or at different times, which happens 3 times in my lore. But besides that, no ghoul is directly related with one another.

Yes, they do all have a close familial bond, but it’s essentially more of an adoption case. Each Papa is able to help summon ghouls with the help of the Primals (Omega, alpha, chain, crust, and aero), which allows them access to the clergy and band. Each ghoul has their own unique personality from their past life, and sometimes also brings mannerisms through as well (they lose most if not all their past life memory in the transfer from the pit to the overworld.)

In those rare cases of pulling two siblings or parent and child from the pit, the Primals will restore that part of their memory to allow them to be able to reconnect in a sense. This also prevents accidental incest, which all the ghouls are against!!

The pairs of siblings are:

- Cumulus and Cirrus

- Alpha and Aero

The parent and child relationships are:

- Crust and Ivy
