Hey if youāre ever embarrassed by any scars you have just remember that I have a three inch scar down the length of my forearm from where I scratched myself on a microwave while cleaning
Hey reblog this with your odd scar stories cause I think itās cute and I wanna read em
I have a huge scar on my arm by burning my arm with a tray full of oven chicken nuggets
I have a scar exactly 2 inches long on the middle of my left shin from reading while walking and tripping.
I got a scar on my right boob where my rabbit scratch me
Got a scar on my chin from trying to climb up a slide
Got a less-than-an-inch scar on my nose where a dog was licking my face, and accidentally bit my nose. 3 stitches and a very sorry dog later⦠Also have a very tiny scar on my right knuckles from a shark bite.
I have a scar bigger than most fingernails on my shin from slipping on a concrete flower bed as I tried to walk over it.
I have a scar on my right cheek, under my eye, from the time I fell into a tableās edge when I lost my balance on a pontoon boat as a kid.Ā
I have a scar on my right eyelid from when my cat fell on my face
(Thatās a line that really paints a picture in oneās mind of a cat comically flailing in the air and somehow landing on your upturned and confused face. Shenanigans music is playing during this sequence.)
Iāve got a blotchy scar on the top of my foot from when I fell out of a hammock when I was 3. I spent the bulk of my childhood and teen years terrified of hammocks and not entirely sure why, because I couldnāt remember the incident at all.
I have a ten cm scratch on my chest when I climbed up a tree and slid down and got cut by a branch
i have a screw shaped scar on my knee from when i was running in the halls during rain and slid head and knee first into a metal door
a scar on my wrist from falling on a sharp bracelet
and a scar on my pinky from jamming my hand in the oven door as a toddler
I have a 2 inch scar on the outside of my right shin from running, slipping and falling on wet grass. Also, a scar on the inside of my left pinky from stabbing straight through an apple and slicing it as a kid.
I have a scar on my hand from trying to repair an apparently sharp hoop skirt
I have a scar on the inside of my upper arm from when my sister accidentally stabbed me with a skinny red marker
I have a scar on my philtrum from when I fell in the garage and landed on edge of a metal bed frame. Also have a tiny one on my finger from where I accidentally caught it with an axe.
I have a three cm scar on my lower belly-think trouser line- from where a hot tray of brownies fell of the counter and I thought it would be a good idea to try and catch it with my body.
I have cm long scar above my right eyebrow from when I fell of a rotating office chair as a child and another cm long scar above my lip from when I was jumping on the couch as a child, fell off and hit my lip on the table.
I have a scar on my left thumb from when I was chopping wood and thought it would be a good idea to hold it up with my hand
I have four different scars on my hands from cheese graters (coordinated I am not)
And one on my forearm from getting scratched by a kid while playing dinosaurs in kindergarten
I have a scar on my knuckle from smashing my hand into a fence post while shoveling snow, and another on the next knuckle over from scraping my hand on the cabinet while trying to reach the blue glitter.
i have a scar on the outer corner of my left eye from when i jumped on a tricicle as a kid and got a huge blood blister - made me pretty much blind for about two weeks...
then there is a scar on my right thumb from when i was little and thought it'd be a good idea to try to suck some milk from my finger and didn't know how to coordinate the first tooth...
then inside of my left hand one 3 cm scar from carving wood, one 2 cm scar from a huge splinter on my schools playground and one 1 cm scar from when i was clever enough as to fall on top of a glass bottle which wasn't too happy to see me coming at it and breaking into a million pieces...
right pinky... made cucumber salad... rasped my finger instead of the way bigger cucumber...
lower belly... 3cm... got a tray of cookies out of the oven and my dog nearly jumped into it head first so i preferred pretty much shoving it into myself...
left leg... outer thigh... 5cm... went to a little sort of pond in my hometown to go swim with friends (swimming was strictly prohibitted of course) and got a glass shard into my leg... 10 stitches and ruined summer for me...
and the last one... tiny 1 cm... my dog accidentally bit my boob while we were playing...
done... i think... i might understand why my mother always called me kamikaze child...
Reblog this if you admit that you're weird and don't care.
finally finished the monster, all ends are woven in, only needs blocking now... son is in love with it! some pictures from @notanicedragon have been left out due to my sons wishes.
finished two pairs of socks for my boys, they already love them and i'm pretty impressed i pulled through with this... now on to finishing the star wars scarf for the big one
progress on something new and somenthing blue :):) (not for a wedding ;))
enjoying some sunny blue sky and working on something new... little break from that doubleknitted scarf my son already worships
knitting for the next winter :) enjoying some latte and sunshine while kids are playing outside
That moment when you realize you are out of the main ingredient to the quick meal you planned for dinner.
and it's like ten minutes before every shop in town closes for the night š
some latenight knitting in bed :)
after frogging that sock twice i tried another heel and practically studied different tutorials... but it's done... it looks like a sock... just need to weave in the ends now :):)
enjoyed todays sunny weather and worked on that heel⦠donāt know yet if that thing will really be a sock⦠and by now i know my yarn wonāt be enough :ā( hope my dealer found one or two skeins of this beauty hidden in some cornerā¦
from the top: star wars scarf for my son (pattern by @notanicedragon) with an added rather huge vader helmet :):)
that purple/pink/green thing is my first try ever at knitting a sock⦠up to this point it actually fits :)
and at the bottom my most important wip this month - teaching my 8yr old son how to crochet (yes, he actually asked me to show him), this is the first chain he crocheted today :):) of course iām really proud of him for being awesome :):)
