Yeah, I’d watch Muppets Lord of the Rings
"He should have stopped when he was still AHEAD!"
Absolutely brilliant. No notes.
OK but Statler and Waldorf need to have climbed the tower of the Eye of Sauron and be watching the whole movie from there.
With ear trumpets and opera binoculars on a stick to explain how they can hear and see every bit of dialogue and bit of action.
Sauron himself needs to be ignorant of their presence immediately below him, and they need to call attention regularly to everything the character that's a literal giant eye doesn't notice.
Once the Ring is destroyed and the tower is fallen they need to be clambering out of the rubble and:
"Looks like the Eye of Sauron is closed."
"Looks like the Eye of Sauron was closed for the whole movie!"
And they both laugh.
Falling (out of a tree) for you.

a little sappy headcanon of mine is that despite being self-sufficient enough to survive on their own for months, Megumi and Tsumiki finally revert back to kids after Satoru takes them in. It's a gradual thing, really— Tsumiki stills cooks for them, clumsy in her movements, and it's not necessarily savoury food, she is careful with ingredients so they don't run out. And Megumi glares at Satoru when he is with them late at night, trying to appear as menacing as he can despite being 3 apples tall.
But then with time they come to understand that Satoru is there to protect them, and slowly they let it show that despite everything—they are still kids. Megumi cannot really do his shoelaces on his own, which is stupid and somewhat endearing because he can quite literally summon two shikigamis and speak like he is older than he is—but he always needed his sister's help with that specific task. One day, when Tsumiki is too sick to get up for school with him, he wordlessly goes in front of Satoru with his untied shoes and waits for him to get the hint. Satoru only teases him a little bit, out of habit really, but accepts the opening with a quiet smile on his face.
Tsumiki gets a toothache, the kind that makes her grumpy and makes her not want to eat. She doesn't even think of taking a painkiller and wait for it to pass, the way she would have some months prior. She goes to Satoru, tells him it hurts, and he gets her an appointment at the dentist immediately.
For once in their life, they have someone to rely on other than themselves.
