Ancient Underground City Found
Mustapha Bozdemir, while renovating his inherited house in Turkey, came across a massive subterranean tunnel system with cave-like rooms underneath the house. You don’t come across that kind of thing every day.
Further findings showed that Bozdemir had found an ancient Derinkuyu underground city in Turkey carved from the rock in Cappadocia thousands of years ago. It was an underground city that housed over 20,000 men, women and children. The underground city had hidden entrances, air ventilation shafts, wells, connective passages, shops, tombs, schools, and much more.
This is what the city would have looked like when it was functioning:

Witches as Guardians of the Earth
As witches, for many of us much of our spirituality and/or practice is based in the Earth. The herbs we burn and brew, the sacred spaces we work in, the stones we use, the spirits of the land that many appeal to and work with, and many other things we find in the wilderness. I feel that with this reliance on nature, it is our duty to protect it from the many threats it currently faces. We should use our spells and rituals to heal the Earth and to take down those that threaten it like big corporations, those who deal in fossil fuels, and politicians who refuse to address climate change. Because once the Earth dies, so does our spirituality, our power, and our practice.
Twelve years of running my own business has taught me: To be respected as an artist, you must first respect yourself. Know your worth, and never back down. If someone doesn’t want to pay, there will always be someone else who will. Say ‘no’ more often than you say 'yes’, and anyone who tells you, “I love your work, can you send me something for free” (for “promotion” or otherwise) is full of shit. #toxicvision
