Victoria Beckham And Mel C Deny Rumours Of A Spice Girls Reunion For The 6,432nd Time

Look, hands up – we obviously love the Spice Girls more than life itself, and nobody would be more excited to see them reform.

However, we know that it's just not going to happen, people – especially now that Victoria's such a high-flying designer and what not.

SO CAN WE PLEASE STOP ASKING THEM ABOUT IT.

Victoria Beckham had to AGAIN address rumours about the girls reforming as a five-piece this week. During an interview with The Today Show in America, the former singer-turned-designer said: "There won't be a reunion because I think that when we performed at the Olympics, it was so great, and that was us celebrating everything that we'd achieved.”

"I still talk to all the other girls, we're still very close, but I think you need to know when it's time to actually say, 'That was great, we achieved a lot,' and everybody moves on."

Yes, move on people – or should we say, 'STOP RIGHT NOW' ?!?!

Sorry, we had to.

Mel C also had to again address speculation over reunions etc this week when she appeared on The Nightly Show – claiming that both her and Victoria just weren't in the right place for a reunion gig.

“That’s where I’m at right now, that’s where myself and Victoria are at.

“It’s not really doing the band justice to go out as a four-piece, whoever is missing, it doesn’t matter.

“For me, Spice Girls, it’s like a jigsaw puzzle.”

“It’s different to other bands because you look at Take That and they are going out as a three-piece, and they are brilliant, I love the boys.

“But with the Spice Girls everything about us was the individuality and what that created together.”

Yeah, yeah the power of five and all that.

It's official guys!

Jesy Nelson of Little Mix fame has gone Insta-Offish with her TOWIE boyfriend, Chris Clark.

Posting a snap of the pair canoodling 'in da club', our favourite tipsy Mixer posted the picture after Chris flew out to America to support his gyal while they're touring the country with Ariana Grande.

Captioning the pic '9 hours later', it's the first time that the singer has explicitly stated that they're a proper full-blown item.

Jesy, who split from her fiancé Jake Roche last year, has been seeing Chris for the past few months.

The TOWIE star also posted a picture of the two of them backstage at The BRIT Awards, where Little Mix had been performing.

The girls have been fighting off quite frankly RIDICULOUS reports of rifts in the band this week, after Perrie cropped Jesy out of a picture of her and the other girls.

Yea, thing is – Jesy asked her to...

Anyway, after sticking one finger up to the rumours by having a lark around on Snapchat together, Jesy also posted the following snap on her Instagram and clarified that yes – her and Pez are basically best friends for life – SO STOP THE HATERATION.

She wrote:

'Was gonna leave it because people love to write sh*t all the time and it's just something we have to get used to but it's gone to far now and it's really starting to get on my boobs.

'There never has been and never will be a feud between my Perrie winkle and me! I didn't like the one poxy picture of myself so I asked Pez to crop me out and like a good friend she did and for some strange reason there has now been a story created that me and my Pez hate each other.

SPOILER: EastEnders Rocked By Shock Death

As if things couldn't get even worse for the Carter clan, they're now about to lose on of their own for good.

In scenes set to be broadcast next month, EastEnders fans will see Sylvie Carter tragically pass away.

The character, played by actress Linda Marlowe since 2014, is grandmother to Mick Carter (played by Danny Dyer) and mother to Shirley and Tina.

After being at the centre of one of the biggest storylines in the soap – which saw Mick find out his real mother was Shirley Carter and NOT Sylvie – the actress has broken hearts and won plaudits for her portrayal of an older woman suffering from dementia.

Cast members were spotted filming at Hendon Crematorium – close to the show's set in Elstree, Hertfordshire – for scenes that are rumoured to be Sylvie's funeral.

The Carter family had been struggling to care for her after making the decision to not send her into a home.

With the family already at breaking point, viewers have seen youngest daughter Tina struggle with her mother's condition, as the rest of the family fail to pull their weight whilst her mother's condition continues to worsen.

A source told the Mirror: “Sylvie has had a long battle with dementia but the way she dies may come as a surprise.”

However, commenting on the speculation, an EastEnders spokesperson told the Radio Times that “We don’t comment on storyline speculation as we don’t want to spoil it for the viewers.”

It'll be the second death to hit the soap family after grumpy patriarch Stan Carter – Sylvie's ex-husband – passed away from cancer last year.

Geordie Shore’s Marty McKenna Gets BANNED By Bank Over Foul-Mouthed Twitter Rant

Geordie Shore star Marty McKenna went off on one on Twitter yesterday, after he wasn't allowed to get cash out at his bank.

Barclays Bank – HANG YOUR HEADS IN SHAME.

No, but seriously, as annoying as it must have been, the reality star went a little OTT on their Twitter – to the extent where they actually disabled his account due to 'abusive' tweets. Yikes.

He tweeted: “@BarclaysUKHelp u are a f***ing divy and the little mug who works in the branch in number needs f***ing digged!

Before adding: “@BarclaysUKHelp not letting me access my own money that I work for the f***ing idiots send me out a new card ya wronguns.”

Enter stage left the hero of our tale, Nic from Barclays' online customer support team – who uttered the immortal line: “Hi Marty, this certainly isn’t how I want you to feel and I’d love to help. Could you please DM me with more information? Nic.”

Nic's calm and measured tones did little to quell Marty's mighty fury.

“F***k off,” Marty wrote, before claiming: “@Barclays just rang me saying they’re closing my account for the abusive tweets … Sorry not my fault ya f***ing useless.”

Such exquisite drama. So much poetic tension. A real masterpiece for our age.

Barclays then fired back at the star with perhaps the biggest mic drop of 2017 so far: “We don’t believe you should ever speak to anyone in an abusive way; whether it’s your bank, neighbour or your ex on the beach.”

OH NO, THEY DIDN'T. Nic, you sassy, sassy sausage.

It's pretty hard to recover from first degree burns like that, so naturally, Marty employed the tried-and-tested response of a 15-year-old boy with confidence issues, tweeting: “Oooo sly digs .. At least I can have an ex on the beach ya desk sitter #virgin.”

Gok Wan Now Has A Number One Album (Yes, Really!)

You know what? A lot of people have been up in arms about the charts of late – what with Ed Sheeran ruling over the Top Ten like a communist dictator and Bradley Walsh of daytime fame scoring one of the biggest-selling albums of 2016.

But we have to say – the latest chart shocker has filled our hearts with glee.

Gok Wan – as in, sartorial superhero and 'It's All About The Confidence' – has landed the number one spot in the classical album charts with his very own album of arias – 'Gok's Divas'.

YAAAAS GOK - coming through to steal your faves' chart crown.

The album (available just in time for Mothers Day, ahem) is a collection of classical music pieces from some of Gok's favourite operatic divas.

Gok, a huge opera fan (who knew?), curated the album himself and features Katherine Jenkins, Maria Callas and Kiri Te Kanawa.

All very highbrow, don't you know.

Obviously, with a number one album in the bag, the telly presenter was understandably pretty chuffed.

Speaking to Official Charts, he thanked his record label Warner and said that curating the album was a 'wonderful experience':

“It’s difficult to express what a wonderful experience curating this album has been – and to be number one in the chart is a dream come true.

“I adore opera and I truly believe it is one of the most beautiful art forms on Earth.

“It’s such an honour to be able to share my favourite arias with you all…may the divas live forever in our hearts!”

A typically understated response there from our Gokky.

Danny Dyer Returns To EastEnders To Discuss Mick Carter’s Return

After being spotted looking healthier and happier on a break to South Africa recently, it's emerged that Danny Dyer has already been back to the EastEnders set to discuss his character’s return to the show.

It follows a brief hiatus for the actor, who took time out from the show due to exhaustion.

Speaking to The Daily Star, a source said: “He dropped in to get his new scripts. He hasn’t started filming just yet. But he is expected to return imminently.

“Everyone is looking forward to seeing him back in action. He’s one of the soap’s key stars.”

You don't say.

The paper also claims that the show is looking at ways to explore his absence from key storylines – such as the funeral of Mick's soon-to-be-departed mother, Sylvie Carter.

A source told The Star: “It’s going to look very odd for Mick not to attend the funeral.

“But the writers are having to come up with some excuse as to why he cannot be there.

“We all know Danny comes first so the writers are working around the clock to tweak key stories.”

Dyer hit the headlines when it was announced that he’d taken an impromptu break from EastEnders due to exhaustion and stress.

Soon the rumour mill was in overdrive, with sources claiming that Danny had upset his co-stars with his bad attitude and that he was drinking too much, all allegations that EastEnders vehemently denied.

A fan took to Instagram to share a photo of herself smiling alongside the sunkissed actor, who’d jetted off to South Africa with his family to overcome his exhaustion.

Speaking to The Sun, a source shared: “Danny was looking a lot healthier and seemed to be glowing. He was happy to pose for pictures with fans and appeared to be in good spirits.”

Further proving that there are no hard feelings between himself and the other actors, an insider revealed that the rest of the EastEnders cast are preparing to make him feel as welcome and loved as possible upon his return.

They told the Daily Star: “They’re keen to show everyone is behind him 100%… they are planning a round of applause when he steps back behind the bar for filming for the first time.

“He'll be welcomed back with open arms”.

Bake Off Bosses Reject Claims That A-List Stars Thought The Show Was ‘Toxic’

Another week, another Great British Bake Off drama.

This time, it was the announcement that Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig were to replace Mel and Sue as the hosts on the show, following its move to Channel 4.

Not much of a hoo-hah about dear old Sandi – but Noel on the other hand? It seems as if the appointment of the comic has ruffled a few feathers across the country, as well as at Love Productions if reports in The Sun are to be believed.

Come on guys - the guy's not even started yet!

Speaking to the paper, a source close to the show claimed: “A lot of people at Love Productions are worried about what Channel 4 is going to do with their show.

“But this is the risk of selling off a national treasure to the highest bidder.”

The paper also claimed that a whole host of A-List stars rejected the show as it was deemed as 'too toxic' after the furore that emerged following the show's move away from the BBC.

The paper claims stars such as Davina McCall, Dawn French and Jamie Oliver were all approached but turned the high-profile gig down.

Josh Widdecombe – co-host of the popular 'Last Leg' show on Channel 4 – was also apparently in the running for the gig, but turned it down at the last minute.

However, the official line from the production company is that only Sandi and Noel were ever given formal offers – which would mean that the claims of A-List abandonment were nothing more than a storm in a mixing bowl.

A Love Productions spokesman said: “Love Productions and Channel 4 jointly chose Sandi and Noel as presenters and they were the only pair an offer was made to.”

Ciara Is ‘Doing Well’ Following Traumatic Car Crash

Scary times for Ciara yesterday, who suffered a pretty nasty crash whilst driving through Los Angeles.

Fans were alarmed when reports began to circulate that the singer – currently heavily pregnant - was pictured emerging from the crash clutching her chest and shoulder and looking concerned.

Well, you've just had your car whacked into – we'd be looking pretty concerned too.

But thankfully, mum and bump are doing just fine after the crash.

Her spokesperson confirmed that the 'Overdose' star was doing well and that the accident was definitely not her fault, thank you very much.

Speaking to E! News, they said: "Ciara and the baby are doing well. The driver was illegally in the bus lane and hit the right side of her car."

Remember Ci, where there's blame – there's a claim.

It's a busy time for the popstar – who, aside from being preggers with her second child, is also busy trying to record a new album.

Thankfully, she's got her fella – American football star Russell Wilson – to fall back on.

Katherine Jenkins Speaks Out Following THAT David Beckham Leak

Unless you've been living under a rock, you MIGHT have heard about David Beckham's recent email leaks – where he went on an epic rant over not being given a knighthood back in 2014.

One particular, erm, 'highlight' of the leaks, was his sweary take-down of the actually-quite-lovely opera singer Katherine Jenkins, who received an OBE that same year.

(In case you missed it, he called her a 'f***ing joke'. Charming, right?)

Well now, Katherine's given her two-penneth on the whole furore, claiming that reading David's comments was 'hurtful'.

No surprise there, really.

Speaking to The Sun on Sunday's Fabulous magazine, Katherine said: “I’m a human being. Of course something like that would be hurtful.

“But at the same time I’ve learned that when you’re famous sometimes you get dragged into things you shouldn’t be involved in.

“Sometimes people feel like they know you, but actually they know nothing about you.”

The historic emails – allegedly sent by David to his PR Simon Oliveira – show him raging against the UK honours committee for failing to offer him the title of 'Sir’ David.

'They’re a bunch of c**** I expected nothing less. Who decides on the honours?

'It’s a disgrace to be honest and if I was American I would of got something like this ten years ago.’

The emails were published on the Football Leaks website and have been picked up by a variety of European outlets as well as The Sun.

When asked if she'd forgiven the former football star, she said:

“You know exactly what I’m thinking!”

Katie Hopkins Gets SUED For £24,000 And It’s Kind Of Amazing

Now for a bit of news that we suspect will make QUITE a lot of you punch the air with joy – Katie Hopkins has been sued for £24,000.

Food blogger and activist Jack Monroe successfully sued the professional rent-a-gob after Hopkins tweeted false claims about her following the desecration of a war memorial in 2015.

After claiming that Hopkins' tweets resulted in death threats towards her as well as causing 'serious harm' to her reputation, Jack was awarded the money following a ruling at the High Court in London.

The blogger has initially wanted to settle at £5,000 – which was to be donated to 'migrant rescue' – along with a public apology, neither of which was forthcoming.

Seemingly, Katie's pig-headed nature has ended up costing her more than she thought it would.

Hopkins tweeted Jack publicly back in May 2015 after she apparently 'confused' her with another Guardian columnist who claimed to have no issue with someone defacing a war memorial with anti-Tory slogans.

'Scrawled on any memorials recently? Vandalised the memory of those who fought for your freedom[?] Grandma got any more medals?', Katie wrote – then deleting the tweet and calling Jack 'social anthrax'.

Might want to pay attention next time, eh Hoppo?

Sorry Guys - Jamelia’s Probably Not Coming Back To Loose Women

We're unapologetic Jamelia fans here at Yahoo! Celeb towers – so we were pretty gutted when we heard the rumours that she was getting the boot from Loose Women following some of her supposedly 'outspoken' views.

Jamelia has now cleared up those rumours – and although she didn't get the sack, she admitted that it was unlikely that she'd be returning.

Speaking to the Birmingham Mail, the singer said: "I haven't been formally sacked by Loose Women, as other people have been in the past, so I technically still have a job with them,"

"But I haven't been on the show since those reports, so people will make of it what they will. The show is going in a different direction at the moment and I don't seem to be a part of that narrative.”

The 'narrative' eh, Jamelia? All very Taylor Swift. THE SHADE OF IT ALL.

The Sun had reported back in October that her views on plus-sized clothing had cost her not only fans – but also her job on the panel.

Whilst show bosses claimed that Jamelia was simply 'working on other projects for the channel', a source at the time said:

“The show is often close to the bone but certain comments were deemed to go too far.”

They continued: “Loose Women’s viewers come from a variety of backgrounds and the producers don’t want them to be offended.”

"Insiders say it's not forever, but for the time being she has been sidelined."

Hmm, seems pretty 'forever' from where we're sitting.

Ed Sheeran Makes History As ENTIRE Album Enters Top 20

Let's be honest – every week is a good week if you're Ed Sheeran. However, with his new album '÷ ', Ed's been breaking chart records left, right and centre.

His entire album now sits in the Top 20 – yes, all 16 singles off the album.

Not too shabby, right?

It's the first time in history that this has happened, so obviously, the red-headed musical peril is feeling pretty pleased with himself. Speaking to Official Charts, the Suffolk serenader said that he was 'buzzing' following the historic coup:

"Wow, what a phenomenal week! To every person who's bought the album, thank you. I'm buzzing!"

We would be too, if we were him.

÷ has sold 672,000 copies so far, making it the fastest-selling album by a male artist ever – with the album itself only being beaten by Adele and Oasis' output.

He's also sold more than the entire top five hundred – yes, FIVE FRIGGIN' HUNDRED – combined.

Wowza.

The entire top five of the UK singles chart are all Sheeran tunes – with 'Shape Of You' sitting pretty at number one, followed by faux-Irish bop 'Galway Girl' at number two – with 'Castle on the Hill', 'Perfect' and 'New Man' rounding off the rest of the top five.

It's the first time that this has EVER happened. Mad, right?

He also holds the distinction of being the artist with the most top ten singles from one album – having nine in the top ten this week, as well as 'How Would You Feel (Paean)' getting in the top ten last week too.

Jeremy McConnell Shares First Picture Of Himself With His Son

The re-invention of Jeremy McConnell from baby-denying party boy into Dilf Du Jour continues apace this weekend, after the reality star and sometime model posted a photo of himself cradling his son, Caben-Albi.

Jeremy famously questioned whether he was even Caben's real father just a few months ago publicly slamming his ex and mother of his child, actress Stephanie Davis.

However, following the birth and a rumoured DNA test, the pair have buried the hatchet and are now co-parenting together.

Earlier this week, Stephanie's rep thanked fans for their support and claimed that she and Jeremy were doing what was best for Caben: "Stephanie wants to address the rumours that have been reported in the press over the last few days regarding herself and Jeremy.

"At this present time they're co-parenting and it works.

"Together they're discussing Caben's wants and needs and deciding what's best. Caben will always be their number one priority and being the best parents to their little boy is paramount to them both.

"Stephanie would like to thank everyone for all the support that they continue to give".

The three have been spending time together in Liverpool in order for Jeremy to bond properly with his son and work out their next steps.

Last Friday, Jeremy tweeted: ‘Had an amazing few days, feeling blessed’.

A source said at the time: “Jeremy is still in Liverpool with Stephanie at the moment.

“They’re using this time to get to know each other again away from the cameras and things are going well. It’s been an emotional couple of days for them both but they’re beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel.

“Jeremy was keen not to miss out on any more time with Caben and Stephanie agrees it’s important for him to be there.”

Jeremey – who met Stephanie on Celebrity Big Brother, claimed he was the child's father after a paternity test was taken. He then took to Twitter after receiving the results, posting a picture of Caben and writing: “Happiest man alive, my new focus.”

Louis Tomlinson Arrested Following Altercation With Aggressive Photographer At Airport

Louis Tomlinson has been arrested following an altercation with a photographer at LAX airport.

The row got physical after the photographer began to invade his personal space and encroach upon his on-off girlfriend, blogger Eleanor Calder.

It all kicked off at baggage reclaim (hardly surprising, as fans of Holiday Showdown will attest to), where the paparazzi was waiting for Louis and Eleanor to emerge after they'd arrived off their flight.

Apparently, the One Direction star was arrested in a citizen's arrest (how do you do one of those, btw?) and was later charged with battery, according to TMZ.

The pap was also arrested, but nobody knows if he's been charged yet – probably because no-one really cares.

WELL HE'S NOT IN ONE DIRECTION, IS HE?!

Anyway, the legal eagle inside us says that Louis probably won't get thrown in prison for the rest of his life, and will probably just get a ticking off and that.

Onlookers described the bust-up – and it all sounds very WWE meets TOWIE season finale:

According to TMZ: "He allegedly pulled the photog to the floor by his legs. The photographer fell backward and struck his back and head on the floor.

"It didn't end there. A female witness started recording Louis' female companion as she tried to leave. The 2 women allegedly then got into a physical altercation."

It's like #BagelGate all over again :(

Louis' lawyer released a statement this morning, which read: "The paparazzi provoked and caused the altercation that occurred with Louis at the airport this morning.

"This is not the first or last time that a paparazzi has created an altercation with a celebrity.

While the altercation was going on with the paparazzi, three other individuals were attacking his girlfriend during this incident and he came to her defense, causing airport security to intervene".

What a drama, eh? Maybe next time just take a National Express or something, eh Louis? The paps can't get you if you're doing 60mph on the M6, right?

EastEnders: Mick Carter To Face Prison As Danny Dyer Takes Leave Of Absence

EastEnders fans are already well aware of the catalogue of dramas that are going on at The Queen Vic at the moment – leaky pipes, divorced children, absent wives, sick grandparents and racist insults scrawled on the door of the bar.

It now looks like 2017 is set to be the Carter family's 'annus horribilis', as viewers saw Mick, played by Danny Dyer, grapple with the prospect of prison after the bank refused his loan in order to pay his fine for breaking licensing agreements.

After getting the news that he wouldn't be able to pay, he told his daughter-in-law Whitney – who viewers suspect he might begin an affair with – that he wouldn't be able to cough up, confessing 'I'm going to prison'.

Yikes.

It will tie in nicely with Danny's break from the show due to exhaustion.

The team behind the show were forced to alter scripts and storylines after Danny needed time off due to his heavy workload.

The Daily Star claimed that other storylines were considered, such as a holiday or family visit – but the prison one tied in well and will offer more for the character to explore when he returns.

A source told the paper: “Some said the prison storyline is by far the easiest way of cutting him out of the show at such short notice.

“Other ideas were tabled, but they wanted something to tie in with Mick’s turbulent life on the Square. And it will mean Danny could stay away for as long as he needs to recuperate and get back to work at which point Mick can be released from jail.”

“His departure from the soap has been a major headache for producers and they are desperate for his return. His character is central to many key storylines that are filmed about six weeks in advance.”
