Originally called the Dusk-Spear Alliance founded by Kete and Chabi Sunir, the Aldenard’s Spear Leve Company strives to follow its founding principals. With the original owners having left for the Azim Steppe amidst accusations of embezzlement and interference with the local Drug Cartels, the fledgling Tribe was left in the care of the East Aldenard Trading Company. Now, under request from the company, Emrys Bennett oversees the operation as a Hunt and Leve based Free Company with Qwen Autumnborne managing the finances. Though the name may have changed they strive to keep the place feeling like home and to adhere to the original goal of creating a Haven for all people of Hydaelyn who find themselves outcast for one reason or another. To be a home and family where all are free to practice whatever it is they believe.
IC: Aldernard’s Spear offers a safe place to any who seek it in their headquarters formally dubbed as Aldernard’s Haven. Within members are able to receive food, lodging, clinical assistance, an open bathhouse, general barracks, sparring arena, and work. The Company also fully provides Chocobo transportation to all those in need of it.
OOC: We are a Rank 8 FC with a Large in the Goblet’s 1st Ward at Plot 60. Our Workshop is complemented by four Rank 50+ Submarines and is helmed by both officers who are Omni-crafters. All crafting for FC members is done free of charge, and both leaders have all recipes unlocked with one being gear to achieve 2 Star HQ items. FC members are also able to activate any buffs that have been purchased and can request specific buffs to be obtained by an officer. Chocobo stables, gardens, and items in the FC chest are also fully open to all FC members at any time. We also try to run maps weekly to assist with members earning gil and glam. Lastly, though it is being rebuilt after our upgrade to a large, the leaders offer gil and furniture assistance to all those without the means to purchase and decorate a FC room.
Well what about RP events?
RP Events are held generally once a week on Saturday at 8 PM EST. There are occasions where an event may not be held due to leader illness or holidays. Gotta give time for peeps to get that turkey and some presents right? We often alternate between combat events and Social rp events to ensure we appeal to all character types. For combat events we do have our own in house rolling system which is posted for all to view in our FC Discord. Currently we are between FC Arcs with the next one set to start after the Holidays are over, and we will be looking at a monthly Server event as well then.
I know it sounds cliche but we’re looking for any kind of character. While previously we’ve been told that we give off a Xaela only feel due to how the FC progressed that couldn’t be further from the case. We accept characters of all backgrounds in our ranks, in fact we encourage it. The Haven is supposed to be a melting pot where characters can be themselves without fear of persecution from the local cultures. In addition we have revamped our work board to offer ice breaker rp ideas not only for combat oriented characters but for crafting and gathering oriented characters as well.
