I just moved to an area with a Trader Joe's. I went inside and found it was much like a grocery store. But what is it, really? A health store? A store for people who just want Trader Joe's brand name? Why do you shop there and would you recommend it to others?

It’s most closely compared to grocery store, I would say. It’s expensive as shit though. I only shop there because it’s my only convenient option while I’m here in Seattle. They do have really good, cheap beer though.

I was going to say… their beer is pretty awesome. But yeah they’re expensive as shit, it’s better to go there to buy something special every once in a while
