Beautiful flooring catches the eye with both pattern and color.
Love this attention to the floor AND the ceiling. A fearless approach, great results.

Lord Design had the unique pleasure of decorating the Kuni BMW showroom for Christmas this year. We were asked to keep with a “woodland” kind of theme but modernize it a bit. It was such a blast to work with the wonderful people at Kuni. A special shout out to Heather Krieves who brought us this opportunity and is just a great person all around. Happy Holiday’s!
The Treehouse Guys
Well, we got our 30 seconds or so of fame. This past December Lord Design was picked to decorate a treehouse for The Treehouse Guys on DIY/HGTV. It was the weekend before Christmas, the shortest day of the year and during the "pineapple express" sideways rain. It was, hands down, the most interesting/challenging/aggravating/fun thing we've done.

My team, including my husband, Jeff who I could not have done this with out, were amazing!
Thank you 1859 Magazine for the great article about a fun space we did for our clients, the Cvach's. Thank you also to BC Custom Construction for all of the remodeling work and a very special shout out to Polly at Kalamazoo, your customer service was absolutely top notch! Doesn't that pool look really, really good right now?
It was a nice enough bathroom I guess. But I like what we came up with better.
Not the most beautiful day for a photo shoot! Bill Purcell was sent by 1859 Oregon Magazine to shoot my an outdoor kitchen we did a while back. He does great work, so I’m sure it will look great in the pages of 1859 in July.

Our cute little playhouse just showed up in the pages of Better Homes & Gardens. Yay us! Yay team!

a former street of dreams home gets dreamy again
Much has changed since the late 1990's, thankfully. The Lord Design team recently finished up a remodel of a late 90's home that had been on the street of dreams. Back in that day, it was dreamy but those dreams morphed into nightmares as the home aged and the space started to fail functionally and aesthetically. Here is a glimpse of one change we made. More photo's to follow!
Big thanks to Erik Ostmo for his fabulous work along with Brian of Rockwood Cabinetry. You guys are fabulous!

Here are some before and afters that I wanted to share. We'll be posting more on the Lord Design website but I was excited to share these. Big thanks to Steve Eltinge for his photography, Rockwood Cabinetry for their beautiful work and Ostmo Construction for their fine work.
What a gorgeous day for a photo shoot! Thank you Shannon Quimby for making this happen and for your inspiring photo styling. And thank you Lincoln Barbour for your amazing photography work. You are sought out for a reason! We can't wait to see your magic in the pages of Better Home's and Garden's next year. What a team!
It's a gorgeous day for a photo shoot! Thank you Shannon Quimby and Lincoln Barbour for all of your hard work. We look forward to seeing your work in Better Homes & Garden's some time next year.
Oh to be a golden!
The dark clouds rolled away and revealed the perfect evening for our first dinner on the patio this summer. Amber found the whole thing quite boring, but we had a great time! Cheers to summer!
Spring! Yay, it's here! Enjoy!
My love affair with the color turquoise and beautiful juxtaposition continues unabated. I. Love. This. I found this on the Massucco Warner Miller website via Pinterest.
Check out these adorable tins from Blue Q! We filled them with cookies from Sterling Catering and gave them out to a few special folks yesterday. I love Valentine's Day! Hope yours was good too!
Instead of putting a bird on it, I put a moose on it. Have fun with your holidays!
