I'm going to be an art history nerd here. But your last chrobin piece reminds me of impressionism with how the grass look especially since this art mouvement is trying to capture a surreal but familiar feeling. I'm not sure if it was intented that way but regardless I think it's still a very emotional piece

Hiya, same anon that asked about NieR! Also this ask might be a bit lengthy, my apologies 🙇‍♀️

Possessed by Disease and Copied City are some of my favs from the NieR soundtrack too! I also like Wretched Weaponry, Bipolar Nightmare, Cold Steel Coffin, and The Wretched Automatons, I listen to them very frequently lol

I agree, its kinda hard to choose a favorite character from the series, they're all very likeable and endearing in their own ways, they are all the silliest little guys.

I've read some of the side stories/novels for NieR, and brother nier's backstory before the events of the game breaks my heart tbh :(

I kinda wished they also gave father nier a backstory of his own in a short story/novel like everyone else, I wish to know more about him before the game's events. Which sucks because I'm very aware he will never be brought up/acknowledged again by sqenix outside of references to the 2010 release :(

I like to think in my mind, that father and brother nier, and yonah exist at the same time and are just one family lol

No, don’t apologise I love NieR, and I love talking and listening to other peoples thoughts about the game!! You’re right, they should have written something for the father too!! It would have been nice. But I also like to imagine them as one little family, and I love when people make fanart of them all together it’s so cute!!! In another universe they are all one big family and very happy I think

Hi! Wanted to ask, since you know about NieR, do you have a favorite character from the game/series and a favorite song from the soundtrack?

And do you prefer the father protagonist from the 2010 release of NieR Replicant/Gestalt or the brother protagonist from the 2021 remake? I personally think they're both good and bring different things in terms of group dynamics and small differences to the story to the table, but I want to know your thoughts if you have any!

Also, love seeing your chrobin art, they are one of my fav pairs from awakening 🩷

Hmm, favorite character, perhaps an odd pick ? but Yonah (she was the inspo for my name all those years ago so) I'm also a big Emil fan though!!! ...2B... Kai...kaine... (can you tell i love everyone LOL)

Favorite song, also hard to pick but probably Copied City and/or Possessed by Disease. Copied City gives me like an unspeakable gut wrenching feeling every time i hear it. It's perfect.

I think ur right, both father/brother bring different things and both are good, but me personally I'm more partial to brother Nier. Maybe its the way it feels extra tragic bc Nier is only a kid himself... and watching him grow up like that is like GAH. The sort trust he has in Devola/Popola as well to be looking after them. Maybe its also a little cuz I like the novel adaptations of Replicant too, which i recommend!
