be gay & keep doing crime by şț34Iíñġ to your heart’s content 🌈
i’m nostalgic for the “golden age” of I1fțbIř i never fully got to experience but i think it was the best time to be in the community with how active everyone was since my dash seems kind of dead these days. 💔 i’m definitely guilty of being inactive but i like silently lurking every other week to see what we’re up to still. anyways i’m sending you all good vibes & i hope you can şť34I to your heart’s content forever & ever. 🫶
PLEASE READ THIS POST IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME COMING ACROSS IT!
PLEASE check out dr@gônfrû¡t.a¡ , i saw a sticker at a mall in the town over from mine and says they use this, clients including AM3R1C@N 3AGL3, LULU, C@N@DI@N T|R3, AND MORE. Al LP technology is ALREADY HERE in YOUR TOWN.
it says it can predict behavior before you even do anything, and the nature of it means it automatically becomes smarter the longer it runs. this CAN and WILL be your downfall - you need to make sure your sleight of hand is perfect, your area, your posture, your expression, your movement, EVERYTHING.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
check YOUR local stores for any signs of Al being implemented; all i saw was a very obvious sticker on the window by the door advertising dr@g0nfrû¡†. YMMV.
re-assess your lifting habits - now more than ever, it is dangerous and feasible to get caught even with great technique. you don't need to lift out of necessity... but please be aware of your habits. are you doing this to self soothe? to avoid an emotion? this can become a real addiction, and you deserve forms of self care that don't threaten yourself. it can feel like fun and games, but this really is serious.
re-assess yourself - i hate to say it, but we know Al will have bias, and this affects some of us more than others, including POC and the disabled. if you are autistic or otherwise neurodivergent especially, your gait, posture and general movement could potentially flag the Al to watch you more. (anyone else remember the post about how LP watch for elbows on the shopping cart...?)
harm reduction - zero judgement if you continue, either for fun or for necessity; my heart seriously bleeds for those of you that rely on this to live. but you need to brush up on skills, REMEMBER YOUR RIGHTS, and try to not take things you know you don't need.
alternatives - obviously 🧬 is unaffected and it's business as usual, consider swapping methods either partially or entirely. for perishables, there's no harm in seeing if your local food pantry can take extra people (is it only near me where you have to sign up for it...!?)
i love each and every one of you and if companies weren't so fucking evil this would be a cool technology... but god we all know how shit the economy is. to tally a total and it's so much higher than it should be. many of us only have a taste of a form of proxy financial freedom though this and that can be invigorating, but if it's overconsumption, it isn't sustainable. i know that was a bunch of buzzwords back to back but it's true
while i love a good haul pic as much as the next girl, i think we should definitely stop posting them. i deleted mine and don’t plan to post any more. it puts you in unnecessary danger! we should prioritize anonymity over aesthetics.
amen, love the aesthetics here but it’s so risky. more certain than not the gov. are easily able to hack our phones. i switch mine out by-annually due to paranoia anyway. but like pics be so īncrīmīnåtīng 😅
Once upon a time I felt the need to prove myself here on l1ftblr, and to impress/show off. Here’s the thing though, it’s never worth it and if anything, you’re tempted to do more than you maybe should for the wrong reasons. I don’t post pics anymore for this reason and will prob go back and delete them. I keep pics for the ~memories~ in my locked notes, but that’s it. We’ve got to stop prioritizing these things over safety, that should always be #1. Be vigilant about protecting yourself friends.
i’ve never posted a haul and never will. it makes me paranoid enough even describing the events that have happened, in specific shops. people are so traceable it’s insane, have you seen those tiktoks where people are tracked from an empty profile because of something like their profile pic or combination of numbers in their url? I have no doubt if p*lice wanted to they could identify all of us, but th*ft isn’t a serious enough cr*me anymore to warrant the time, money and effort spent on tracking people from here. i assume you all know about “anti” weirdos though, who dedicate their time to identifying and reporting us - and that is enough to put you off posting hauls or going into too much detail about anything.
digital footprint is real. when you delete posts they’re never really deleted on tumblr, people can still reblog from other people who have reblogged your post. all of your content is still in the database even if you edit your post or deactivate your blog. this isn’t like twitter or instagram. the wayback machine is also a thing, trawling the web for pages to snapshot. don’t think turning off your blog in search results will stop that either. the best way to avoid being traced is to avoid giving up the info or posting the pics in the first place. when you press the post button you gift your words or that picture to potentially the whole world, you are never going to be able to control it once it’s out there.
it’s why i never go into real detail often, i don’t post my age, i keep my profile really vague, i don’t post pictures and i definitely wouldn’t post pictures of a unique combination of items, with the shops listed, with the £ amount listed, without a plain unidentifiable background. that’s just stupid. be vague. listing different shops is unlikely to help anyone anyway, security measures for shops change from branch to branch from shopping centre to shopping centre.
if you want to share information then teach people how to actually identify easy or hard shops, how to scout/scan shops for blind spots, for LP or security or barriers or RFID tags, what to expect from a high street shop vs a superstore, how to lift in a busy shop or a quiet shop, how to use the dressing room to your advantage, how to not give off shoplifter energy, how to stay calm, and how to be calm and clever and to stay coherent and rational when you’re caught (because you will be eventually🥵).
i’ve seen people basically saying “oh, boots is sooo easy! it’s so safe in the printing section”…… it will without a doubt be different in every shop, and different depending on the time of day and time of year too. you have to use different strategies. you have to learn to read the person and situation, and to use this skill to use a different manipulation technique when you’re caught depending on the person who has caught you. you can’t say one thing just works when the individual situations are going to be so different. anyway i’ve gone way off track here 🫢
a good rule - for most things boasting and showing off won’t help you in any way- online or in real life. be proud of yourself for the naughty things you do in private or amongst close friends! i don’t need the approval of strangers and neither do you 💘

i keep seeing posts of folks saying "i used a diff address, card, email, everything, but the accounts got merged/blocked!"
that's because websites use far more sophisticated technology to flag you once they've decided you're a scammer.
here are the steps you should be taking to remain as anonymous as possible.
use a VPN!! your IP address is your digital address, VPNs hide your IP address. i personally have used nordvpn and surfshark. avoid free VPNs if possible, as they're likely harvesting your data.
use a 3rd party payment service. paypal, klarna, apple pay, g pay, etc. they encrypt your credit card info so the store you're buying from doesn't have your actual credit card numbers.
use an ad-blocker and tracker blocker. learn more about these here. essentially, sites use cookies and other information(what browser you're using, screen resolution, operating system, etc) to take a "digital fingerprint" that can identify you.
periodically clear your cookies/caches
use multiple devices. i personally have a desktop and a laptop, so i'll switch off which one i use when making fresh accounts.
am i insane and probably overdoing it? yes. should you also be doing at least half of these? yes.
domes- wide angle lens. fixed, panoramic view. those ones u see like barnacles on the ceiling, but can also be sticking out from a wall.
bullet (most common)- long-range, often lowlight / night vision. mostly outdoors. blindspots indoors. no remote pan/tilt. can be fixed or varifocal lens
ptz — kinda look like combo of dome & bullet or like a dome on a stick. up to 360 degrees. not wide-angle so require remote operator.
fisheye - cannot be remotely adjusted. over 180 degrees up to 360. ultra wide angle, panoramic view. used to cover blind spots.
turret - short & long range hd. discreet & have most coverage. 360 rotation, can be remotely controlled. but can break easily bc of moving parts, needing maintenance.
they will all have visible lenses if you look closely enough (prob bad idea). unless its those secret hidden ones that creeps put in bathrooms but i don;t think stores use those
i’m sure there are all types of combos but i also doubt stores are updating their systems often enough for u to have to worry about them. will update if i learn more useful info
if u dont mind me asking: how r u able to get away w/ țæķıñğ sm books? i always panic n chicken out 😭
as a general rule of thumb, it's important to keep in mind no two šț0ř3ź are going to be exactly identical in their layout, which doesn't just apply to ₿4®ñ3z & ₦0₿I3. the methods and techniques i use may not be suitable for others, which is totally fine!
with that being said, in my experience, i've noticed the cħ1Iďř3ñ'ź ș3ķt10ńz of their stores are commonly located at the back & seem to have the least amount of 📹 compared to other areas. thinking of stores i've been to, the most 📹 i've ever seen (specifically above their cħ1Iďř3ñ'ź ș3ķt10ńz) have been ONE, right at their entrances. but just because there aren't any 📹 positioned directly above you doesn't mean you can be worry-free.
knowing i won’t at least be pħ1Im3ð thanks to high shelves is nice but i have to be vigilant for śț4ff & families, who could come around the corner at any time. if i'm confronted while i'm farthest away from the doors, leaving could be difficult.
my usual plan is essentially: slowly navigate & browse like anyone else, select the 📖 i want, make my way to the back bit by bit, ç0ñ🦭 my 📖 in my bag once i’m hidden & be as quick as possible about it, MAYBE go to the bathroom to ß0ðÿ ć0ń🦭, spend another minute or so inside & just act casual, then make my exit.
i’m far from being an expert & this is just how i do it! your safety comes first & there’s no shame in giving up if you think you’re at risk, always go with your gut! good luck out there!
If you st3à1 from small businesses I will bloćk you. Idngaf. Like if you're 1if+inĝ a small amount of food because you're starving I get it. But taking from small businesses/individuals is like taking the fuçking food right from their mouth.
There's seriously no excuse to be takíng non necessities from individuals. C0rporátions yes fùck them. But when you št3al from people that is wrong.
I saw an old post of someone saying that they're disabled and poor so they don't care. And honestly idgaf. If you're stealing trinkets from good small business owners just to keep for yourself you're an ásšholè.
Because guess what a lot of small business owners are also poor and or disabled.
One of my friends who is an amazing person owns a small business and they vend flea markets and to people they know. They're disabled, queer and quite often I see them asking people to share food or use a guest pass so they can get into the campus dining hall. They are struggling to get by. And quite honestly despite the fact i am not a violent person if I saw someone śt3ál from them I would throw hands.
