I love superheros, but with I feel like them being more popular than ever and, with the fact that Mha being a thing. Why has no one wrote about a world where everyone has powers but we focus on how basketball has changed, or racing or any sport. I love to read a book or a comic about how actually this power is great for fighting but because I'm a racing cars it actually dog shit and how he's the underdog because of that.

When you have this world of supernatural power why not explore the mundane, it's best case of world building you can get. One of my favorite episodes of dragon ball super is the baseball episode now it's been awhile since I watched dragon ball super but I vaguely remember them keep hitting the ball to hard and that's one of the reasons yamcha did so well. I honestly can't remember I remember watching when it came out and wished for more like.

Kart racing games are always fun always liked the idea, of these characters designing cars after their canon counter parts for a lot of fiction like what if Ben 10 was a racing anime and it was the Ben, car could transform into alien cars or whatever. And like Kevin could steal the power of other cars.

You see the vision my point is when I'm I going to see this superhero media where they zoom in and show us how normal media such as sports, and normal life has changed I'm not a Mha fan, but I did like how they talked about how quirks changed day to day lives a bit. So yeah where's super zoomed in superhero media where's my batman versus superman but pick up game of basketball.

I could go on forever I remember the Lego batman game and mister freeze has a truck the can freeze things. Now imagine he uses that technology to keep his car cool as he races for new NASCAR In this kind of world.

Where's my underdog who's using a basic ass car in this world of superhuman cars.

Like imagine your playing baseball and some makes a black hole to curve the ball in his direction, imagine you hitting the ball so hard it destroys that black hole. You see my point is this is untapped market that could sell. I'm not even like a super sports fan but I know a few things.

I could go on for hours on how superpowers could change sports and how they worked I imagine basketball would go crazy, and their be new rules where you couldn't touch the other players or the ball with said powers. So it's still a physically intensive sport but the air around the ball. The basket could grow in size so your whole team could get a 3 pointer. You could have a man who can duplicate himself guarding someone, a man with super speed slipping past people only to be caught in tracks of a man with ice powers.

My thing of course not everyone going to be a superhero so where is this kind of media of these other people who didn't want to be superheros or villains but wanted to play this new sport that can only be done with powers.

This could also be used as a way to say of course woman can play mens basketball you see Sarah over their can jump 40 feet and mark can't. I mean why would gender make your powers weaker. Fuck I hope people see this post cause I want to see fanfictions with these topics. Like batman au but it's batfamily being the only powerless basketball team. I'm joking of course but the fact I have written so much and could go on says so much to this and I would love to write it. But I'm not a sports super fan and I love this to get out to those who are and would actually take this seriously.

I've never seen it done but I've always loved the cold north Duke. But always the part where the territories are filled with monsters. I would love to see a setting that actually explored this. Like I love another typical romance fantasy but they gave up on the most important thing. The monsters the setting their so far removed from the main empire.

I like to see a story of this cold Duke who isn't actually cold just a realist who lives in this monster filled waste land that's so over populated with monsters living here makes no sense. Like they can't build houses out of stone and, wood because that mean being unprotected against the monsters. Stone would be impossible to collect cause mining would be like monster all you can eat on workers you need.

So they resort to using monster parts to build their homes and, walls which makes them stronger as people I love if they explain how to their new lover for political reasons they don't like empire cause they keep trying fuck shit but abandoning them would mean the little trade they get is gone, the few things that they can't realistically recreate with monster parts like vegetables, and fruits aren't something they can afford to stop getting.

They explain how their lands doesn't have the normal problems because all the children and adults know today is a fucking gift so betrayal isn't an option. Doing something like murder is akin to killing everyone else. I love a setting where yeah all the city guard have artifact level weapons the average monster is a city level threat they can't fuck around. Why do they have so many powerful weapons and armor that's cause they can't afford to waist parts of the monsters and strong monster make good weapons, refusing to arm to teeth is stupid.

Why would I hoard anything like that when the equivalent of a bear here is 2 story's tall, he explains why they don't have many actual injured in the medical halls cause if wasn't something you could fix a sewing kit then your dead, that they don't hesitate losing an arm or leg in combat was simply mean you died. How the only people in these place have like the sniffles or mild poison.

I love show them how houses aren't made of stone, their made of scales and, hide with bone supports it wouldn't look tribal either they aren't behind in technology they just went up the harder tech tree it's still the cold northern Duke but he can't afford to take risks he can't afford to hesitate.

Well, here's a rough draft of chapter one don't take it for granted.

Phineas was crying the entire flight over, Danville was west cost, Gotham was east apparently Candace survived the crash but she was in, full body cast and, a coma it would take a few months to recover. Ferb and, him had been at school, Candace had, a doctor's appointment, and their parents got cross sectioned, they never stood a chance. Ferb, clinged to parry a little hard, they were heading to Gotham. Apparently their dad had a great uncle, Pennyworth the half brother to their grandfather Reginald, apparently they weren't all that close.

But their grandparents on both sides of the family couldn't take them in they were, apparently too old and not exactly fit to take care of more kids, was the courts excuse for Reginald, but Phineas Grandpa, and Grandma they where just simply that old they where both in their 90's and their uncle, couldn't afford them since he already had too many mouths to feed. And they didn't have any other aunts or uncles. Apparently great uncle Pennyworth was the closest relative they had who could take them in. It was that or foster care. Phineas bio dad died years ago, and Ferb was the same for his mom. So any family through those lines would only accept one of them.

They where also lucky apparently great uncle Pennyworth was paying for Candace hospital bills. So they were on a private jet which would be cool if not for the fact. They had to board a plane immediately after the funeral. Their was two girls in front of them one is a blond, and they other a dark haired girl with Asian features. The dark haired girl smiled softly at them.

Ferb talked to Cass in his Ferb way, and while Phineas could normally understand his mute brother he was to tired to try. Phineas had, never felt like this he never had this kind of pit in his stomach. Phineas had been angry, he's been sad, he's been afraid, and he's felt hopeless. But all at once it broke Phineas and, not in the way you could put back.

Here's the first part of chapter one, I'm actually writing it now no more excuses, although the excuses have been how to wright Phineas and Ferb as, not happy kids. I'm not joking that's the hardest part about this. They have like 3 emotions in the show and it's hard to write deep characters when the show only rarely shows other emotions.

Scars are the best part their physical flaws the proof that their more human than gods around them why take them away.

My favorite characters are sexy hot men/women with scars if not obvious by the Jason todd profile pic, and my favorite other batman character being Cass which I should post more about honestly.

And it doesn't help the best fan art of these characters display it like damn these guys are fucking traumatized and their scars show how much bullshit both them have gone threw as they both have easily top 2 worst backstory in the batfam

I was at work today and I was talking about batman and it made me realize how much I hate current batman characterization, and the fandom haven't helped. There's this chronic need in the community to baby Bruce and honestly it's one of the reasons I stopped coming on Tumblr because I have been reading batman comics since I was like 3. There was a long period of time where I dropped dc for a while and I was basically only reading spider man and whatever doctor doom was currently featured. Because they're my favorite marvel characters.

I'm getting distracted I was at work and my coworker was talking about whether you would rather fight batman, or whoever it doesn't matter but it made me start thinking of batman. And I feel like people forget Batman's characterization has changed since the 60's he's supposed to represent the pinnacle of humanity has to offer some of the bad and some of the good. And modern batman feels so bad, and not much good anymore.

They treat batman like a concept and I'm okay with that but he has been put into a narrative device kind of role, only to push the plot forward and fandom doesn't help because they do it too. And worse I was reading a fic I really liked and it made Bruce seem so fucking bad as a dad I was like what fuck are you writing your trauma diary or a fanfic. An I'm just tired of it I guess I love batman he's one of my favorite heroes He shows we don't need to be perfect just being human and not stopping until you win is enough. What I keep getting sidetracked while I type this shit anyways Batman is batman in most alternate future, he's like the last line of resistance for crying out loud that man can't be evil and it takes so much to break him so why does dc keep acting like Bruce isn't human anymore.

Half of what made batman to me is under the all that bullshit he puts up front he cries, because he can't sleep until Gotham saved Bruce didn't die in the alley but he didn't leave alone and it's eating away at him like a parasite but he has to feed it and that's Gotham. I love batman so much and I'm just tired with how this man gets treated and he's not even my favorite bat family character. My favorite bat family character actually gets treated worse somehow.

It happened overnight Waller fucked over about 200 different hero, all of which where independent after a independent hero had accidentally stopped one of her schemes it was fast and happened all at once. One second hundreds of heroes had secret identities and the next they didn't and they had nowhere to go. Most of them lost their families if they had any and the few who didn't had lost their jobs and houses. It was so fast nobody could’ve stopped it. Nobody saw it coming.

The Justice League and Titans did as much as they could but it was pointless no one could stop what happened. But someone could save them from the worst of it and sadly this also happened to be a criminal in the eyes of every hero. Red hood, and the outlaws.

Jason when he started the outlaws didn't really have a base more like a group chat, and sometimes a shared apartment. But during a long mission Roy complained about camping for 4 weeks straight but they were in the middle of nowhere with no money. Jason had a plan at the time shortly after he rented and bought hundreds of buildings across the world and country and turned them into one man's stop and supply and deposits basically. Nothing like Bruce's batcave and warehouses more like a bed, some cash, and few weapons and supplies. There bare, Jason prevented break in by buying cheap and, making sure he owned the building if he couldn't trust the location and put one of his men as the owner.

Actually he had a lot of his men go legit because of this, he didn't really care and the 12th source of income wasn't hurting Jason. But when Waller dropped hundreds of hero's identities, Jason had a plan and the actual resources to house them all, not for free of course.

It really happened fast waller was fast Jason was faster he saved 87 heroes, and set them up in the bare minimum apartments and gave them something more important income and the last chance at something close to normal. Tech based heroes would get paid with information they provided, some stronger heroes got sent on missions, and some heroes who were basically just doing the minimum of keeping criminals off the streets got paid if they helped where ever possible.

Jason didn't want a lot of these small named heroes to be connected to all his bullshit, so the outlaws changed over night and what the word outlaw meant to him. There were more outcasts now. But when Jason did good it never goes unpunished. The Justice League, already freaking out about the leak, put pressure on Jason all besides Bruce, weirdly enough. Jason thinks that's mostly because Bruce actually sees it as it actually is. A shit hand and Jason happened to have good cards this time. 

The titans a little less, between the young justice and, the titans saved a lot of younger leaked heroes about 12 out of 24, 6 to teen titans, 6 to young Justice what happened to the other 12, sadly suicide and, a couple murders. Jason saw what probably most of the adults saw as a tragedy . What about the Justice League though not out of incompetence, but more a it was already too late, they saved 20 people to Jason knowledge and all out in witness protection ,or full time roaster he knew only about maybe 10, and with some intelligence another 10 but not much.

Waller leaked a total of 250 names, barely 100 survived the next day. Some heroes question why a secret identity exists, today they don't. Jason started to make an underground railroad of sorts. Series of underground routes that could get you to the next state as quickly as possible.

Being a member of the bat family living in chronic pain. And then waking up and knowing all the other heros around them have to here the bones scrape against each other to their horror. You know the first time Clark realized what the sound of bone against bone, and then hearing Bruce move made him sick.

It's knowing all the superheros in justice league, titans, young justice, or the outlaws follow the bats not because their the smartest but because they seem to be dead and still walking. They should be bed ridden and put on hospice but still move. It's knowing that they don't care.

And worst part about all this is the bats don't seem to realize this isn't normal.

No matter how the arrived at the manor Bruce tried to, out in sperate rooms which depending how they got their ends in full panic attacks or, them just saying no, but it's something Like to mention those kids seem like the kids who don't want sperate rooms until they need them.

Now Jason doesn't really interact with them, until like later and they have kinda been apart of the family for a hot minute. Depending on which Jason you have gets you different results like crime lord Jason accidentally got them to help him and now Jason is now actively keeping them away because he became to good at his job because of them. He actively has to stop them from trying to help because he jumps to league threat in a day because of them.

They never really do crime fighting, but sometimes their inventions just help, like one time Phineas builds a green house that holds every plant on earth and was like and his thought experiment was how would you need to planet them to all live in harmony and ivy had this complex plan to destroy Gotham and now she's helping them with nitrogen levels.

And Bruce, well why the fuck does he never stop them he tried and failed multiple times if Candice is their she consults him quite a few times.

Criminals keep trying to use them for crime of course Harley has become their unofficial babysitter who just has to drag riddler away with a black bag because his plans to use the kids puts them in danger or potentially puts them in a depression.

I think Cass technically being the official babysitter though is my favorite headcannon cause like depending on when they join shes, mute, selectively mute or doesn't give enough energy to talk to you specifically. But Phineas who's had a selectively mute brother his almost entire life understands her perfectly

Jason looks at Bruce no mask no cowl in his arms dying like he did all those years ago. Jason can’t understand what’s happening why is he dying why is his dad dying he the greatest to ever do this he’s Batman, Batman doesn’t simply die. Why couldn’t they stay if they stayed maybe Bruce wouldn’t be dying.

 

“Ja…son please don…’t avenge me” Bruce says in-between his last breaths

 

Jason couldn’t speak what was he saying not avenge him how could he not do that he was dying he knows Jason can’t do that right. Please tell him he’s right. Please tell him Bruce isn’t asking what he thinks.

 

“Jason my s..on please understand and save Gotham like I wi…sh I could.” Bruce forces out while his heart slows down

“Don’t av..en….ge me plea…se save Gotham.” Bruce keeps repeating a few times with tears running down his unmasked face

 

Jason can’t understand why he doesn’t want to be avenged that Jason wanted after his death but he doesn’t. Jason wants to understand but he listens and says.

 

“Okay Dad I won..’t avenge you I will save Gotham I promise dad so please stay I can’t lose you we’..re finally in a good place.”  Jason says while crying his heart out and holding Bruce close to his chest

 

“I’m sorry Jay…lad I want to stay….. take this please.” Bruce say with final breath and hands over his cowl

So originally this post was going to include Jason first night as well but I never wrote it because I didn't want to make a whole fic I still don't but here you go

It was cold as he landed their was three men, in front of him heavily armed his first hit was brutal, taking the man's face into the concrete the second was a kick to stomach to another. And a gun shot hit the third and he looked red hood. He landed in front of him as he took off the helmet Jason said "Roy leave"

Now that was kinda one of the idea my other was

Dick returned to the manor to find his face threw a table a second later. He stood up and tried to fight back as his head was put threw a wall this time. Jason was their now dragging him to the cave he could barley speak when said "why" Jason didn't answer until they entered the cave and Jason threw him into the zeta tube "shouldn't of left idiot" dick landed in titans tower he was struggling to breathe he was caught off guard and Jason beat him to an inch of his life.

And when Clark told dick Bruce was dead shortly after he understood and broke down. He couldn't understand how could the best to ever do it die.

The originals had more details but I simplified these because I don't want to write the 600+ more words the original had

Hey anyone who's reading this im going to help you spot an ai fanfiction real quick

Blank felt comfortable with them their, blank was full of bright a beautiful tones

When you see an over exaggeration of importance is a clear sign of ai normally not like most fanfic writers do this sometimes but the writing will do this repeatedly. How do I know this I've used AI when I started writing 4 years ago. Do I still use it no and that should be obvious from just my typing.

And ai will use the most basic verbage so if you really not be called out for using AI. Buy a thesaurus I have a god awful memory so that isn't an option. And by called out I mean falsely accused.

But every hundred words or so you should be able to see repetitive enforcement of words is a clear sign of ai.

I found an ai fic writer for the first time and they had multiple 80k word fic made in the last 4 months. I have never met anyone who's made 80k word fic less than 3 months. I don't even know if I should post this but I hope it helps someone

And with the scraping of a03 recently I thought I should mention this

I would also like to mention I either rewrote or, I am currently rewriting all those fics so please don't worry about those fics that used AI their long gone

Also look for vague language, such as descriptions that are almost one word, or don't use colors and physical descriptions like it was red, with an almost cube shape, the corners rough but had a green pole sticking out of it that was thin, it appeared to be movable.

Is clearly not AI, and just a character delirious describing a lever.

But it was beautiful, it's tone vibrant and vaguely any shape that makes no sense realistically.

Are clear depictions of ai the last one more a statement than an example

you know what while i’m talking about fanon vs canon let’s talk about the “no metas in gotham” rule because it is demonstrably false. bruce doesn’t not want metas in gotham. duke is literally a meta. bruce doesn’t want *outside heroes* in gotham because they don’t understand how it is there, and the large majority of outside heroes tend to be metas, so i can see how people would get mixed up, but like just to be clear “no metas in gotham” isn’t an actual rule and if it was it’d be a stupid one.
