LOSH Week Day 7: Prophecy
Idk she's just so Dreamy
Loshweek Day 7: Prophecy
This one seemed pretty obvious to me.
And with that, that's a wrap on another loshweek! This one ended up pretty girly squad with the exception of Ferro Lad. See you all next year!
i'm running behind on loshweek because work was morning shift today and had to exercise after work.
Here's the sketch preview of what is my pick on day 6. hopefully i can get this done by tomorrow and the last day prompt as well...
Loshweek Day 7: Prophecy
Shhh 🤫 she’s sleeping
LoSH Appreciation Week Day 7 - Prophecy
Dream Girl's superpower is the gift of prophecy. Used properly, every story she appeared in would be a two pager.
"BTW Val, I had a dream where we took you to the doctor because you just got shived with a laser knife belonging to one of the muggers, only you don't know it yet. Let's go to ER right now." *The End*
But no, it's always something like this...
So we're going to spend the rest of the story trying to puzzle it out, and of course there will be some false leads.
Don't worry about those two, Dream Girl. It's another story where you're prophecy is all but useless, and this is one of those false leads.
Yeah, wouldn't it have been easier if you'd have foreseen this?
And how about the time she has a dream about a planet's political leader dying, only we just get a zip-a-tone silhouette.
Thanks Brainy and Cham, for pointing out how weak this prophecy is.
And sure enough, the assassination appears to happen as foretold.
But yeah, when you don't see the face of either the assassin or the victim, then is it really much of a prophecy?
We've once more reached the final day of the event! Today's themes are Prophecy and Trilemma.

LoSH Appreciation Week Day 6 - Double Date
Okay, okay. So this one's kind of cheating. It's just four Legion gals out on the town. Gals who are pals. But nothing more... that we know of.
Light Lass, Princess Projectra, Dream Girl, and Shadow Lass in some pretty snazzy evening wear.
Jeez, I stand corrected. Civilian names then.
That purple outfit is something else. Who's your designer, Princess?
Science Police distraction narrowly averted. It still looks good for an enjoyable evening on the town.
Okay then, an enjoyable evening over the town.
Uh-oh. Got to admit what Ayla?
Oh no! Armed goons have taken the restaurant hostage. I guess it's back into uniforms, and yet another superhero slugfest. So much for your evening, ladies.

Day 5 of LoSHWeek25: Aposiopesis - Deliberately leaving a statement incomplete to imply a threat
How often do you wanna bet Brin suffers from the team eating the cake before he does the frosting and layering?

LoSH Appreciation Week Day 5 - Disability
Drake Burroughs was a student when a lab accident turned his body into anti-energy. But a containment suit let him channel that energy into a variety of super powers. As ERG-1 he tried to join the Legion, and was rejected. But when Legionnaire lives were on the line, he unleashed his full energy against a deadly machine called the Devourer.
But it turned out that he had survived the mighty blast, just as a disembodied cloud of energy.
Outside the containment suit he's unable to communicate or touch anything physical.
But trying to get back into the suit proves harder than it seems.
And then it turns out that the case containing the suit, and the Legionnaires themselves are protected by energy fields. Too bad he can't tell them to temporarily remove their flight rings (which generate the fields).
Just when all seems lost for this disembodied wraith, it turns out that the Miracle Machine, encased in Inertron, is not also covered by that protective energy field.
Good thing he gets back in the suit and defeats the android Molecular Master before the android can kill the entire Legion, cause being a disembodied energy cloud sucks.
