Rose frowned listening to her. Of course it made her giggly and happy but she was extremely confused to why she was sayin all this. Looking at the air clip she gasped a bit. "That's beautiful .. What should I ... " Feeling the hair clip in she laughed a little. "Thank you." She smiled making her way out "Figaro ?"
Rose felt a million times better having Ava around. Someone who knew Figaro better than anyone else so everything she said she took to heart and just nodded. "It's... Hard to believe that with everything but I'll take your word for it." Not bothering to correct the name she slipped into the dress smoothing it out around her little bump. Nodding she places everything on and moved in front of the mirrors clipping her hair back just enough to have her face in view. "Decent enough?"
Rose pouted a bit. "Well I know but if I'm gonna dress up I at least want to wow him. I feel like I constantly have to prove why I'm the better choice." Looking at the two she pointed to the black one. "Everything matches with that. And yeah , I have some in the jewelry in the little box over there . Hair up or hair down?"
Rose nodded and let her run off to do whatever. In her head she just figured Ava was on the run to oogle over Cleo. It was hard not to when the baby was a cute as her. When she came back Rose made a face. "I have tons of dresses just not sure which one would fit everything. The black ones are my favorite though." She shrugged a bit . "It's been so long since I've had to dress up and try to look decent on a date with Fig. Also! It can't be one too tight cause baby bump. It'd be kinda hard to impress him looking like a grape with feet."
Rose crossed her arms at his shitty comment and snapped back. "If you weren't to busy making sure Alana was satisfied you'd be there" Giving a warm smile to Fig she moved over to kiss Cleo's cheek and steal a bite of Figs food. "He hasn't told me anything. No sure if I should get fancy or comfortable. Help would be very nice , please and thank you."
Rose rolled her eyes at him as she gave him a small glare. The glare was quick to slip through at the sight of little Cleo. "Love you too, even if you're a pain in the butt." Rose was in shock as she hugged her back and lightly kissed her cheeks. "Hi. Hello? No one told me you were in town" Again a glare was shot towards Fig. "He's on baby duty so I guess he has an excuse for not getting the door. I'm sure Cleo will love all the attention and spoiling she's about to get."
"You're not dead yet are you? I mean you eat a lot of my food." Rose smiled to herself with another kiss as she went to the room to change out of her mother cloths. Just as she was about to start her make up she heard Fig and rolled her eyes. "Yeah yeah , I got it." She yelled back throwing her hair up in a bun to start the make up routine. Opening the door she nearly fell over. "Ava?"
Rose giggled looking up at him. Watching his hand she hit it. "Stop! You can wait." She teased a bit with a smile growing on her face. "I think it's very cute but with kids it's sorta impossible" leaning up on her tippy toes and a little help from holding the counter she managed to give him a quick peck before taking the noodles off the stove. "You wanna add the cheese so I can get decent looking?"
Rose smiled a bit blushing as she kept her head down and focused on not burning anything. Letting out a soft laugh at the feeling of his kids on her cheek. "What? Really? I'm sorry! Cleo was getting fussy, and I .. Didn't know if you'd be coming home late or anything so I thought I'd start dinner. After dinner? That sounds nice yeah.. Id like that."
Fig stepped into the apartment with a hand in his pocket, disguising the little box that was hiding there. “Rose, you home? I have a question for you…” He wasn’t entire sure how this would end, or how well it would be received, but he took a deep breath and waited for her response.
Rose always let out a breath hearing him come home again...at least he came home. She'd tell herself. "I'm in the kitchen. Dinner is almost ready.." She said softly over her shoulder with a smile.
Todd watched her closely, her actions– everything. He felt awful, remembering just a small part of what he did. “No, no it’s not okay Scarlett.” He told her, standing up now and walking over but stopping just a bit away from her still to keep distance. “I, I think, was a huge jerk to you and you did not deserve any of it and I’m really sorry. It wasn’t me though, it was…someone else I guess.”
Hearing him she knew her Todd was back but it didn't take back how upset she was and the fact she told him how she felt. "you were.." She confirmed looking down at her feet. "but apology accepted I guess. Nothing we can do about something we can't really control. And you're a great .. I'm friend, so I'll get over it .
Letting out a fake gasp, he gave his best grumpy look to Darcy and shook his head. “Is that true? Poor mommy, well now I’m here to save you and assume position as daddy.” Danny made a face at the grumpy bear part but started laughing and kissed Rosetta. “That was odd, but cute. But baby talk for as long as this one stays awake.”
Rosetta's cheeks turned a bright red hearing him talk about taking position of daddy. Coughing she looked around, "Maybe she'll listen to you a lot more than she does me... Hopefully." Kissing him back she smiled. "Ugh. I'll never stop then. It is close to her bed time though"
“Nap free zone, if I fall asleep please wake me up.” Duke looked up at Sandy with a little giggle before shrugging and letting out his own sigh. “Umm, what have you watched already? Maybe we should watch like… The Walking Dead? Or or How to Get Away With Murder?”
"Alright alright , nap free I can do that for you sunshine " smiling a little he pulled him a little closer. "Mm.. How to Get Away With Murder sounds good. Wanna start that one with me?"
“She will always be Blake Shelton.” Binky told her, a dorky grin spread across his face after saying so. Hearing her words, his smile only widened as he started tickling Blake, “Hear that, baby? Daddy’s the manliest man ever!” Looking back at Adella, Binky nodded. “I love you a lot more. The ladies shall go to the zoo then, come on babies!”
"You drive me insane." She grumbled a bit holding one of Blake's little hands. Watching them always made her heart soar with pure joy. "Alright mister man, let's get us ladies to the zoo." Adella kissed baby Blake's cheek once more before snuggling against it. "I love her cheeks..."
Surprised that she even replied, Todd’s eyes widened a bit before he looked back at the ducks. He was quiet for a short while before letting the words just spill out of his mouth, “I’m so sorry.”
Scarlett heard his apology and she wanted to be upset with him. She wanted to tell him how rude and awful he was but couldn't. The way he looked made her stomach twist and turn all over again. Did he remember her confessions? Anything? The thought made her swallow hard as she looked down. "It's okay.. I'm fine."
Danny just started laughing harder at the tiny little squeal. Taking Darcy into his arms, he tickled her tummy before looking back at Rosetta. “Oh is she now? Well, well…Hopefully she’s feeling nice to me cause I had just about the longest day at work.”
Sighing happily as she watched Danny tickle Darcy with a smile on her face. "Ugh, I love you too. And yes! She's been in the cookies, the markers, all of it. Aw... Poor baby. That means Disney movies and cuddles tonight for the grumpy bear. Sorry... I need to stop baby talking huh?"
He laid his head against Sandy’s chest and a little smile grew when the kiss was placed on top of his head. “I know, thank you.” Duke’s tense body relaxed at the soft touch from his husband. He was so happy to have Sandy with him, especially during weird times. “No no, no more naps. Naps hate me now, apparently. Let’s talk, not about the dream though please.”
Feeling his husband unwind he smiled to himself keeping his small actions together. "Okay okay! No naps. This is a nap free zone." Looking up at the ceiling he sighed "do you know any good tv shows? Because I am dying up here trying to find something even close to being interesting.
