my current obsession/special interest is rain world, right now I’m in the middle of gourmand’s campaign, which is the second one I’m playing through! :3 any and all gameplay tips are welcome, but I do avoid spoilers (mostly)

OH THIS IS SO FUCKING ACCURATE

ok the last ask may have been a bitt different from the video... but i can also see a situation where J (has been only around drones for years and years and so has almost completely adopted the attitude of less clothes not being inherently weird or unnacceptable) is standing around looking at herself in the mirror. shirtless (because she was getting changed). and going "man... i look gross..."

and then Tessa (has been only around humans for years and years and so is still mostly into the mindset of less clothes NOT being just a casual thing) is staring at her with big wide eyes from across the room with her cooling fans stuttering because the speed they have to go is too high. and she's like "u-uhhh... no i dont... i dont think thats qquite right...." (<- is so fucking gay for her but is not good at using the right words to say it)

i can totally imagine J just. sitting on her bed, looking into the mirror on the wall, staring at herself. thinking about how seeing herself in the mirror used to bring her so much joy. and now she looks at her body and it's just... bad. wrong. disgusting. she looks like a freak. she hates it. and every second she spends sitting there just makes her feel worse.

annd then Tessa comes into the room and without even recognising what J's doing she goes straight (haha not really shes incapable of being straight (ill see myself out that was terrible)) for her and just casually flops in her lap and leans her head against J's chest and starts yapping about something that happened today- and then she gets a good look at J and kinda just stares at her for a second and goes "goddamn. you know. i keep forgetting just how beautiful you are." and J's like "hhwhwuh???" and Tessa just keeps going, swinging her legs and leaning back against J's chest and craning her neck to look up at her talkin like "i just. wow you're so pretty. and. uh. amm i allowed to say that you're really hot too or is that too much..." and J's just. so startled by everything. and Tessa takes this as a good reaction and just starts rambling on and on about how amazing she looks...

J is. barely holding herself together. she glances back over at the mirror and as Tessa keeps going she starts trying to look for the things she's saying are good. and Tessa seems to notice what she's doing and realises why she looked so upset earlier. so she starts getting a little bit more specific with her observations. focusing in on details. as she keeps talking, J keeps staring into the mirror, looking for the things she mentions, and honestly... it makes her feel much better. she still thinks she's wrong and bad.. but she's less miserable.

if Tessa can find beauty in someone like her.... maybe she's not so bad after all, yk?
