Hi Dr. Mister- I think this may just be a hiccup in the writing, but is there a specific reason you think that Helen is just a presumed phone sex operator in one episode, but later episodes show her as meeting John Locke completely differently and being very involved in his life?
The phone sex operator to which you’re referring wasn’t actually Helen. That scene, though it aired first, took place after John met Helen and after she left him. After that, John regularly calls a phone sex operator and requests that he be able to call her “Helen” so he can pretend it’s the real Helen and tell her about his day. So not a writing hiccup, just John Locke continuing to be a sad, sad man.
