The day went by quickly, after their talk with the woman they had a few more stops before it was dark. Liz was tired and irritated, and hungry. With a yawn, she pulled the car into its parking space. "I could pick you up some take away if your hungry, iam so not cooking tonight.." She knew he wouldn't cook for himself, not in his state. And kind of wanted to know he was taken care of before heading home, call it her nurturing nature. Looking over at him, Lizzie chuckled, "Or you have a hot date tonight Sir?" She teased lightly.

Alec was tired as well, but he wasn't letting it show. Especially with everything he had gone through recently. He looked over at Elizabeth as she pulled into the parking space. Hearing what she said, he made a face. "I'm not hungry." He told her. Of course she would have something to say about that. Even if he was hungry, a take away wasn't something he would have had anyway. At the mention of a hot date, he gave her a look.

Elizabeth chuckled lightly, rolling her eyes, "Fine then, be like that. Don't complain to me when you collapse again..." Her voice was soft, yet a hint of annoyance broke through. Of course he wouldn't want help, even if he did need it. "Well, you know where I am if you change your mind...."

Once home, Liz cracked open a beer and sat eating her bag of crunchy prawn crackers infront of the TV, watching some silly entertainment program. The news was too much for her right now, the images of Danny causing her too much hurt.

Once again, The Doctor found himself on a planet where the was trouble. To be honest, when wasn’t he somewhere where there was nothing going on? The TARDIS always had him end up somewhere there was trouble. It didn’t matter if he wanted to have some peace and quiet, it just wasn’t going to happen.

It was just him now. Donna was back home with his family. He had to wipe her memory and now…here he was, travelling alone again. It always ended up with him being alone. He was used to it now.

The Doctor had just managed to sort out the trouble that had been going on and had headed back to the TARDIS. Getting the TARDIS flying again. Once it had landed, he grabbed his coat and stepped out. He wasn’t really taking much notice of what was going on around him or where he was.

Charlotte Rothman was a recently jobless FBI agent. The young woman now strode aimlessly on the quiet boulevard. The normal crowds of people had been put off by the heavy dark clouds that hung in the sky, deciding to eat inside the warm restaurants that dotted the area. Lottie however, loved the weather. The deep feeling of something approaching, the smell of incoming rain. Standing at the end of the pier, she overlooked the wild ocean that was until a strange sound and sudden gust of wind whipped her black hair around her face. Turning, her eyes widened as a blue police box seemingly appeared from no where about 10 feet from her. A tall man opened the door and exited, preoccupied by something and not really looking around him. Lottie, shocked but intrigued, watched him for a moment before she whistled loudly, "Hey! Don't think you can park that here buddy...."

And get the fuck out of here…there’s…there’s something very wrong with whatever the fuck that is.” She couldn’t explain it, but the box seemed to be calling to her, seeking her touch again. She wanted to open it, for no reason what so ever, and it scared her. Scrambling back, she grabbed the shovel, determined to hide the box in its dirty tomb once again and get as far as she could from it. Her hand shook and stung as she struggled with the shovel, it felt heavy in her hands.

“That’s why I dug it up- to handle it so it doesn’t get worst than that.” Constantine gently took the shovel before she could very likely drop it- or swing it given being under the affects of cursed objects could vary. “Focus on the feeling of the bracelet on your wrist, maybe trace the engraved pattern for a moment.” Considering just helping get her away from it; but it could hurt instead of help. “It’ll only really get to you if you free and touch it.” He nudged some dirt into the hole. “I’ll keep it inside my jacket, you’ll be okay.” Quickly hopping in; putting on his jacket and tucking it into an inside pocket. Where some of it’s energy would be dampened from the fabric and proximety to his energy. Back out where he decided it’d be faster to use a little trick that filled the hole back up for him. Focusing back on her, “Do you think it would be wiser to come with, or get distance?” Self evaluation, she seemed smart enough to answer and it was always an solid part of evaluating matters.

Charlotte gave up the shovel, begrudgingly and stepped away from the hole, turning to look at the sky instead. Her pale fingers traced the bracelet in a slow calming rhythm between her fingers. She didn't notice his trick, completely distracted by the whole situation and weird sensations that went through her body. As it was tucked away, Lottie felt the power dampen, and her hand went out to lean against the trunk of a near by tree, feeling drained all of a sudden.

Pushing her long black hair from her face, she looked up at the man, thinking for a moment. Curiosity killed the cat. The saying rang in her ears, but she ignored the strong bad feeling and nodded, "I want to come with you, I need to know what the actual hell is going on...and what...'that' thing is..."

With difficulty, Lottie dropped the box, it falling into the hole and rolling back to its original place in the dirt. Charlotte snapped from her trance and stumbled backwards, tripping on the piles of dirt and falling onto her backside. “What….what the fuck?” Holding up her hands, she strained to see them in the dark. They felt as if they had been scolded by intense heat. Her breathes came fast and hard as she began to panic a little.

After grasping something, he figured would help- dropped his coat in to cover the box. He’d retrieve it in a moment; first needed to try assess and address it affecting the agent. Gently- without touching her tying the protection bracelet around the nearest of her wrists. Prevent any further connection, might not account for anything already formed but it was only meant to be an bandaid solution anyways. Mentally taking note of staring at her hands- which weren’t burned but he could only guess felt that way. “Breathe in for 10 and out for 5, you’ll be fine Charlotte.” Putting aside knowing it could very much not be okay; try to get her to calm down. Especially so it’d be easier to assess just how much, how it got to her. Didn’t want sudden murderous rampaging nor other problems associated with the item inside.
