I think I’ve seen this film before too. At the 2016 iHeart awards on 3 March 2016. Calvin and Taylor arrived separately and were icy, Taylor won 4 awards and didn't thank Calvin when accepting 3. Calvin was apparently looking annoyed then thanked literally everyone but Taylor, even ET reported on it. Taylor then thanked him for tour.

In a bubble I like this song, it’s fun. In context of this world in 2024 or 2025 WTF. I do think it’s about Blake, the album being recorded before the text message extortion so I wonder if Taylor still feels the same way. The extreme disconnect she shows by thinking it’s ok to release this song about her friends tawdry lawsuit, presumably unaware of how problematic it is.

The disconnect between veiled references of standing by someone without naming them 🤭 and then falling out before it came out. 😂 then covering that up by cozying up to Britney. Goodness.

Anyway, this album should have cooked longer.

On the surface CANCELLED! is set up to be about Blake, even as far to us the same jewel in TLOAS visuals and BL seen on the red carpet, but CANCELLED is the British version of the American "canceled" so that leads me to believe the deeper meaning is for Harry and Taylor's story - their relationship was cancelled by media and fans wedging them apart...Harry then went on to cloak himself in Gucci, and all the ads are Easter Egg Taylor - should i make a post for visuals? Off the top of my head: Harry dresses as Apollo, TWIN to Artemis/Diana - let's not forget 12/18/2012 ship HMS VICTORY is also National TEIN Day; the perfume ad, where Harry hold the Haylor ring; HAHAHA was SO Haylor, i braid that campaign with Midnight references...and HA = 81🪞18, a nod to Tat Night...I know their are other campaigns that connect...so my understanding is CANCELLED! is about Harry -- in fact I can't believe you can't see all the hairy influence in this album. All the TFOO visuals link back to ship tat night...TS has a giant H on the BOW of the BOAT - word play: Bow/Bow 🎀🏹🎻 BEAU -- the Life 🛟 Saver rings (LS = Love Story, LS = 12/19 aka National Harry Day and National Underdog Day (Taylor spoke about writing a sports story when talking about folklore song "peace" (✌🏼, also means VICTORY ✌🏼) and in that same sentence she mentions underdog)
