Today I offer you a little messy sketchy screenshot redraw of Alex Rider. ❤️ This scene in S1 was CRAAAZYYY, definitely one of my favorite moments in the season, maybe even the whole show. (It’s one of the first times Alex gets to show off how intelligent he is!!! I’m so proud of him!!)

This poor guy. 😭 He was going through it. But man, I love the aesthetically pleasing blood splatter and how dark Alex’s expression is here. I love the trope of young characters that have a dark layer underneath that doesn’t show up very often but when it does, when that layer gets peeled back for just a moment, other characters are taken aback and are like “um, so, that kid is incredible and a little terrifying and maybe a bit crazy.” Idk, I love seeing interesting and complex characters like Alex. We need more complex characters!

Anyways, I’m just yapping at this point. I love Alex Rider, I love both the character and show so much. ❤️

HIIII HELLO, it’s me again, the girl with the most inconsistent Michael Afton art the world has ever seen. 😭 I may be biased towards Freddy Carter but this design might be my fave. 🫣 I’m very late to the movie Michael party but idk man, I’ve recently become obsessed with him and I can’t get him out of my head!!!!! Michael Afton has always had my heart but now he has me in a chokehold. 💜 I love him. 😭

This was a very fun face study, despite the fact that I had to keep tweaking his facial features and I redid the shading thrice. I love Freddy’s face so muchhhh. 😭💜

I’m really hoping FNAF 3 has far more Michael content because his scenes were some of the only good ones in FNAF 2 for me. 😭 And like? The casting was SO. GOOD?!? Please utilize him, give him more than three scenes, I’m begging you. 🙏

HE’S SO PRETTYYYY, HOW IS HE SO PRETTY. 😭😭💕💕💕💖 Like sir, put those big brown puppy dog eyes away, I can’t thinkkkkk—! 😩💕🥹

Mannnn, S5 was such a mess but it made me a mess for Finn Wolfhard. 🙈💕 I know a lot of people say that Mike was one of the worst parts of S5 but I don’t get that? To me, he was one of the saving graces of it. I know he got a lil vanilla coded at times (everyone was acting weird in this season, y’all) but his scenes were some of the best in this season. (Especially in the last episode.) This boy needs a year-long hug, honestly. 💔

I don’t know what it was about Mike in this season but something shifted in me and HOW DID I NOT APPRECIATE MY BOY UNTIL NOW. 😭 He’s grown to be one of my top fave Stranger Things characters and he was definitely my top fave in S5. (Steve, I’m sorry, you failed me this season. 😔) I hate all the Mike Wheeler hate, I wanna throw hands at anyone who dare hates on my boy.

Anyways, I was in a sort of an art slump for so many months but now I’m so inspired to draw Mike Wheeler. 👀 (I’ve already drawn him so much, aaaaa. 🤫🫣 I’ve made it my mission to learn how to draw him!!!!!!!!!)

This was a drawing request I received on Instagram. I was asked to draw my favorite Stranger Things character and oooo, who could’ve guessed that my favorite is this lil guy. 🫶

I’m in the middle of watching season 5 and while it has been so disappointing, at least Jamie has been serving. 🤷‍♀️🤭

I haven’t drawn Stranger Things art in 3 or 4 years?? That was so mind boggling when I went digging for my old fanart. I remember when S4 was released, I was obsessed and drew so much ST art. I have the smallest inkling of that inspo again but we’ll see if I actually get around to drawing more. 😋

I started watching the Alex Rider show last year and oh my GOSH, I am OBSESSED. I still need to watch S3 but man, the first two seasons are SO GOOD. 😭 I was already obsessed after seeing S1 but man, the hyperfixation hit me when I started S2. I kept begging my sibs to keep watching with me, lol. 🙈 I really need to read the books as soon as I’m done the show too. 📚👀

There’s something so captivating with the way Otto Farrant acts as Alex. He is a phenomenal actor, he IS Alex. I love that little thing Otto does where he can smirk in the slightestttt way, just the corner of his lip turns up, and I can’t explain it but that micro expression is so sassy, I love it. I wanted to capture that look in my art but it was so difficult. 😭 I don’t think I captured the full extent of how sassy Alex can look but I loved drawing him. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve drawn someone as young as Alex so loool, I’m out of practice but I’m definitely drawing him again someday. 🥰

Hi, it’s been a while! 👋 And what the heck, I’m drawing HP art??! I know, I’m just as confused as you are, lol.

I’ve been struggling with drawing for the last couple of months. It got to the point where I practically rage quit it and didn’t touch my tablet for weeks. I told myself the break was good, it was necessary, I was doing a smart thing. In all honesty, I’m not sure if that’s true or if I was just scared. Scared to try again and have it not work out again.

I was feeling antsy recently, which relieved me cuz I felt like I was soon ready to try again, even if it kinda terrified me. But holy heck Batman, never doubt the power of a new hyperfixation to give you the push you need!! I randomly tumbled into the Percival Graves / Colin Farrell fandom and um, hi, I love it here, I think I’ll stick around. 🙈 I don’t even love the Fantastic Beast books too much and I haven’t watched the movies yet but I don’t care, lol!

I literally finished this minutes ago and I just wanted to throw it out into the void cuz!!!!! Idk man, I want to share my love for this wizard!! 🥹🖤 (Man, I haven’t drawn HP fanart in YEARS.)

Welp, um, anyway, I hope art continues to get better and better for me. I have no clue if this was a one-hit wonder or if it means I’m back on track but either way I’m just so happy to drawn this gorgeous man. 🖤 I was reminded today that I shouldn’t approach art thinking about if others will like it, if the algorithm will like it, or even if I will like it. Just enjoy the process, don’t be scared to try new things, and don’t worry about it being perfect. 🖤🩶🤍

Mini artist rant, lol:

I find it so funny how non-artists view art.

I did some commissions for my brother who wanted me to draw the D&D party for the campaign he’s DMing.

The party loved the art and were all super sweet, don’t get me wrong. But one of them was like, “Your sister’s art style is simple but it uses its simplicity well.”

eXcUsE mE?? Those pieces were the most detailed pieces I’ve done all year. 🫠

…I’m crying. I know for a fact that my art style IS simple but with those commissions, I tried my darndest to put in more detail. I never usually put much attention into buttons or necklaces or swords or straps or satchels.

LOL, I’m not offended in any way, I find it so sweet and kinda silly that that was said. And I mean, it was said gracefully and as a compliment (I think?) so I’m not offended. But idk man, it makes me giggle that a lot of non-artists view extremely detailed art as “whoa, that’s GOOD art” and when it’s more simplified, it isn’t viewed quite like that.

It’s the man himself, the guy who voices literally some of my biggest comfort characters: Jax and Doey. (And he’ll most definitely be the voice of future comfort characters, like N. 🙈 I needa watch Murder Drones.)

Last week, I was on vacation and I didn’t take my laptop and tablet with me so I actually pulled out a sketchbook and drew traditionally! (Which is something that only happens once in a blue moon. I lowkey forget to do it. 😭) LOL, I’m so embarrassed to say this but I literally only drew Kovy Cat the whole entire vacation. 🙈🙈🙈 It was fantastic practice, I loved it! I used his character sheet for reference to help with expressions and stuff. But then I started doing different expressions and drawing him from memory. 🩵💜

His design is so good!!! I’m obsessed with drawing Kovy Cat now, oops. 🙈

The colored one is a bit off cuz I’m such a newb with markers, I really need to practice more. 🙈 But despite the messiness, I still love seeing Kovy Cat in color! 🥰

He’s been a crush of mine for YEARSSS. He definitely was one of the first crushes that turned into a hyperfixation for me. I would spend countless hours looking at fanart of him and I’d draw him constantly. He made me happy, he still makes me happy, I freaking love this guy. 🩷

LOL, as you can see, I’ve never been sold on one design for him. I’m pretty happy with the newest one, though. The 2022 one is definitely more robotic and shiny looking but BRUH, the amount of time it took to do all that detail ain’t worth my time. 😮‍💨 So I’ll probably stick to a more simple but still robotic looking design like the 2024 one. Probably.

I’ve been itching to draw Jax in @burrotello’s boxer AU for weeks, I’m so happy I finally got around to do it today!

I’ve been going through a rough art season, it’s just been art block after art block. 🫠 I tried to draw Jax’s outfit as close to the official boxer AU outfit buuuuut I did change some details cuz they just weren’t working out for me. So, like, I was consciously making decisions on how to simplify his outfit to make my life easier lol BUT only after I had almost finished this piece did I realize— I reeaaallly changed his jacket. 😭 More than I intended. 😭 I FEEL SO BAD, I didn’t mean to change it that much! 😩

When I’m in a better headspace, I WILL try drawing Jax in this AU again! He’s so pretttyyy and the boxer AU is one of my ult fave TADC AUs! 💕

I’m only on my second summer but I’ve been putting in so many hours lately that I’ll probably be in my second fall in no time. Whoops. 🙈 There’s just so much to do in the summer that it’s honestly so addicting to play. Like, what do you mean I should quit after a day of taking care of my farm and a day of foraging? What about a day of mining? Or doing odds and ends?

I recently watched the cast play the fast food sim and OH MY GOSHHHH, that was way too much fun!?!?! I highly enjoyed that, there were so many chaotic moments but overall, it was such a chill vibe and idk, I love the TADC cast, they’re so cool. 💕
