I don’t regret top surgery, but there are definitely moments where I wish I still had my breasts
hey gyns, asking kind of facetiously but also hoping somebody has a serious answer: why should i want to have a period?
i have a lot of dysphoria over periods especially bc they’re so painful and can leave me essentially sick for about a week out of the month... and the weirdest part for me isn’t necessarily menstruation itself, but the way my hormones and anxiety or whatever make me feel more vulnerable when i have to be around other people. it’s almost like it’s worth more steps of transition just to not deal with it, even though i know it’s just something i need to buck up and learn to accept
I posted it for one second, and deleted it. I’m so nervous to come out (again) for real.
I miss the way I used to look at times. I like my body now, on testosterone, but sometimes I miss the way I used to look. I’m starting to really doubt myself and my gender identity. I’m nervous to how the world would react, and I don’t know where I’m at if I’m going to stop testosterone or continue taking it. It’s definitely making my menstrual cycle incredibly irregular. My breasts were the only part of me that gave me dysphoria. And the dysphoria is gone.
I need help, and therapy

I’m ready to try. To try to be comfortable being female. Something I didn’t do when I was in puberty

I have no dysphoria at all anymore
I shaved my legs & my whole body last night. For the first time in 7 or so years. I accidentally nicked myself a little, but my legs feel amazing
Transitioning definitely helped me find myself, even though I’m lost as far as gender-identity goes.
Gender is a journey. I was aware of irreversible changes with hormones, I don’t regret taking them at all. I don’t know if I’ll continue to take testosterone, depending on how I’m feeling in a few months. But I am incredibly comfortable with myself and I’ve never felt that way in my life. Most of me feels that I’m just doubting myself. But I’m not someone that can ignore doubt.
I appreciate the journey I’ve been on. For me, it’s more than just gender roles or gendered bodies. I was always wired to be someone with pecs, not breasts, someone harier. This is my body. This is me, this body feels right. This body, in its testosterone-dominant form, feels correct to me. When I look in the mirror I recognize myself. Pre transition I never felt that way.
I’m trying to find the confidence to figure myself out again
I have breasts in all of my dreams lately. I misgender myself lately. I feel like I’m not a man
Transitioning was a choice for me. Was it the wrong one? I don’t know, I don’t regret it.
I feel crazy lost with my gender identity lately. Started this blog for myself, as I figure myself out again.
I currently present as male, I transitioned ftm at 18. No regrets here. But I might not be as binary as I thought
