Mindy raised a brow at his words. “Well, I’m sorry that my presence is such a disappointment for you. If you must know; I thought I’d selected it too.” She didn’t trust people, especially not since someone she she considered a friend had betrayed her and attempted to murder her. “I don’t do well with people, as you can probably tell.”

Luisa was shocked when she heard him call her. She looked over at him and smiled. He hugs her and she gives him a tight hug. “Antonio! You’re here! I’m so happy to see you!” She shakes her head with a sad smile. “No, I haven’t seen anyone else. But hey, we have each other now!” She would never say anything, but she was worried about her family. It was so weird not having them here with her.

If he were being honest? He had never felt more alone. Though he was sure the entire Madrigal family would’ve felt the same. They were a close knit family who shared a casa after all. Antonio let out a groan at the tight hug but he grinned and embraced her as tightly as he was able. “I’m happy to see you too! That’s okay, the others will come. Do you have a place to live here?”

She raised a brow for a moment. “Pretty sure you may get into trouble for doing so, it most likely is linked to you in some way. Perhaps we can call someone to tow it?”

“ considering you’ve made it to mid-november already, i think you’re safe, ” diana chuckled, eyeing some of the decorations around the small store. it wasn’t even thanksgiving yet, and it seemed like all the shelves were already decked out for christmas. “ decorating always puts me in a good mood, ” she admitted, “ but i’m sorry you won’t have your family here with you. spending the holidays on your own just doesn’t quite have the same ring to it. i can’t remember the last time i spent the holidays without my dad. but, he’s not here, so. ” complicated family tree aside, she missed her dad. “ wanna start decorating together? we can make cookies, watch some movies, do the whole nine yards. ”

gabrielle chuckled a little. “ this is true! i have managed to subside the desire for a while. i’ve thought about it as soon as we came to november. ” she admitted with a shrug of her shoulders. she nodded in agreement. “ you and me both. it makes a place feel comforting to see all the christmas decorations, i think. i am sorry that you will also be without your loved ones. but i am here for you too. ” her grin widened before she nodded eagerly. “ i think that sounds like a wonderful idea! that sounds perfect! do you usually have a colour scheme? ”

Letting her go after a moment. “There are quite a few of us here.” She hoped that would make her feel better. “Bill is here, My kids, some of Bill’s family.” The list was too long to go over everyone. “A year or so? I am alright. Better that you are now here. Means my whole family is here except our parents.”

Her eyes widened in shock at her words. “Really? I didn’t realise so many of us were here!” It did indeed soothe her woes a little. She was afraid she wouldn’t see anyone else but her sister. “How are the little ones, anyways? Are they around, I’d love to say hi!” Gabby grinned as she listened. “A year? Merde, Fleur. That’s so long... Hopefully the others have been around most of that time, oui?”
