Last summer I had the wonderful opportunity to create environment concepts for a project with graduate students of the Filmakademie in Ludwigsburg titled “The most Boring Granny in the Whole World!” (you can find a trailer for the animated short here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUfugPlBk54&feature=emb_title). The story is about the relationship between a girl, her super-boring grandma and death.

After we had established the look / interior design of granny’s flat through the environment concepts (look here: https://chintzmann.tumblr.com/post/625715766157852672/i-am-currently-working-on-a-project-with-graduate), I was also asked to do different light concepts to explore the mood of the different scenes and how they’d change in the course of the story. I had such a fun time and am very much looking forward to the finished movie!
