I was lucky enough to find a treatment facility for my ptsd and depression in California. So I traveled from Montana to Orange County to get treated. However upon arrival I was tested for Covid and even though I had take as many precision’s as possible to protect myself I tested positive. Now I have to quarantine in a hotel for 10 days. God is taking care of me, but any help would be appreciated. Please share to help.

In a hypothetical world where Mulder really was red/green color blind, how would he react to Scully gifting him with those glasses that correct color blindness?

Mulder adjusts the glasses on his face and looks slowly up towards Scully to see firey copper strands surrounding her face instead of the muted brown he had looked at all those years. His first reaction is to reach out to touch it, to feel the shoulder-length titian locks as though touching them would make them more substantive.

“Scully,” he breathed like a reverie. It was like a prayer.

The doctor in the office cleared his throat and left the room. Mulder could see her cheeks flush. 

“I never knew,” he said in disbelief. “I can’t believe I lived all this time and I never knew.”

“Do they feel okay?” she asked, fidgeting with her hands. 

She wanted to cross her arms or to climb onto his lap. She couldn’t decide which. They weren’t together anymore, not really. She lived in an apartment in DC, he still remained at their home they purchased together. She saw him on occasion, when the pain of his absence was too much to bear in her life but it wasn’t often enough she was used to this. A touch from him affected her differently than before. It was familiar and uncomfortable. It was exciting and frustrating.

Mulder continued to analyze her hair, his scrutiny was one she remembered when he was studying the curves of her body and the lines of her femininity. 

“Mulder?” she prompted. 

“They feel great,” he murmured distantly. “I love them.”

“We should get going,” she suggested, taking his hand gently from her hair. “We have a meeting downtown.”

Mulder got off the exam chair and stood up, fixing his tie. He followed after her, enjoying watching her hair as though seeing it for the first time and his hand went to its usual place on her lower back as it did every time.

I'm not sure if I have fissures or just sores it what. But what I do know is that it hurts. Can I just not go to work tomorrow and sleep for a week?
