I've been meaning to post fics and songs and such here but being a perfectionist I've kinda kept my work hidden. However while binge watching sad, fan made Avengers song videos I noticed something that not only blew my mind but gave me a little headcanon.
I saw a quick flash of Steve Rogers standing on the bridge in a video and I realized he's not the only hero I've seen on that bridge.
It was a one of those "Wait a minute..." moments when you've gotta go look into something closer because it's so surreal you think "there's no freaking way what I've realized could be true" but it turns out that it is...Guys I think this may be one of the biggest Avengers x Supernatural parallel I've seen so far...
Dean: *parks the Impala on the bridge and gets out because he just knows this is exactly where he needs to be. Despite the stranger who is also on the bridge Dean knows this is where he needs to wait* Hey. You don't mind if I hang out here for awhile do you?
Steve: Of course not. You waiting for someone too?
Dean: *leans on the railing opposite from Steve and smiles softly* Yeah, my brother.
Steve: *with a soft smile of his own* Me too. Or he's as close to a brother as a best friend could be.
Dean: I get it man. Family don't end with blood, and doesn't start there either.
Steve: You're more right about that than you know. *Turns to look out over the water.*
Dean: *Looking in the opposite direction* Well I guess it's a good thing we're both waiting with someone who understands that kind of bond.
... there's more to that conversation in my mind but I just had to share this ASAP.
