Elijah remained in the pool room, seated in one of the few chairs in the room as he stared out across the waters and looked upon Detroit with snowfall. A beautiful city, a place he supposed to a degree he saw as home. The only attachment he had to this city was the fact it was the heart of where all androids had been created, not to mention the Chloesâ liked it here. He couldnât bring himself to leave them or make them leave a place they enjoyed so much. He could hear their soft chatter behind him, it caused the man to look over his shoulder to see three in the pool, all ST200 while one of the RT600âs kneeled just outside the pool to join in their conversation.
He had no reason to listen in on them, they talked about many things and while they did so, he allowed his thoughts to wander elsewhere. Like to Cyberlife, as his gaze drifted towards the tower that wasnât too far from where he resided. Itâs building stood tall, inside, thousands of androids being shipped or created to be sent out to people willing to purchase them. Cyberlife turned his creations into a mass production, something it hadnât been intended- or at least not in the way they had made it.
His lips pressed together moments before he reached over to grab the glass of whiskey that had been set down 20 minutes ago by Chloe and brought it to his lips taking a small sip. Elijah rolled the liquids in the glass, his eyes closed for a moment as the sight of thirium coated his vision causing him to open them again. Restless, always restless, always doing something to keep his mind busy with anything that would be willing to cross and prod his mind. But what else could he possibly do now? A majority of the work he had planned had been done in the earlier hours of the day.
A long sigh was released when he set his glass down and looked back over his shoulder. Three ST200s were in the water still, but the RT600 had left the room, this naturally drew his attention causing him to stand from his seat and head over to the waterâs edge. Often times he would join them, but not today. As his lips parted to ask where she had gone, she entered the room, expression worried while her LED swirled a bright yellow.
âThereâs someone outside in the snow, Elijah. They look⊠hurt.â
This wasnât average news, it caused his blood flow to quicken while he ran for the coat rack to grab a coat to toss on, âChloe, Iâm going to need your help.â He didnât need to see her nod or hear her answer to know she would be out there within a matter of seconds. When he rushed out he stopped in his tracks, feeling his blood run both cold and still at the sight before him. This was impossible, it had to be. Seeing blonde rush past him, he snapped to it, rushing over as the two worked to pick her up and carry her inside.
âItâs going to be okayâŠâ He mumbled softly to her while the pair worked to bring her inside.
