“Oh, you know how I usually like to spend my time,” Lestat smiled, “I’ve been hunting again. Have my sights settled on a beautiful madam who runs a bordello not far from where I am currently residing. She is an evil woman however, but sustains the elegance of an angel. The young girls and under her care are put though horrendous trials and even worse circumstances.  I plan to feed from her tonight finally, oh how satisfying it will be to feel her warm blood run past my lips. I am happiest when it is this way you see, when such beautiful creatures with such destructive personalities enter my line of sight. Their savage contradictory is what makes the kill so fulfilling.  It’s as if... I’m purifying their soul, their blood, as well as feeding my... ravenous appetite.” The vampire slouched down in a relaxed sitting position next to the goddess, laughing at his own arrogance.

“Abel, Abel van Larenstein. He is probably well known in the books as a V.O.C captain during the Dutch Golden Age. He was my lover and maker. He took away something dear to me” she answered honestly.

“They usually end up that way,” Lestat sighed, “Either you are the victim of the heartache or the distributor of the pain. I should know, I’ve spent my fair share on both ends of the spectrum. With Louis, David, and Akasha. But for you? For us now?” He stepped forward and took her hands in his, “Those days are long gone, Arjuna.” 

He bit into his lip, glancing down at hers the vampire reached up and moved her hair away out her face with the back of his hand, “I suppose for tonight I will allow you to prepare for the ball while in my presence....” He smirked, “After all. How can I refuse such an angelic face? I’ll be waiting for you with the bath already filled hot water, remove those rags and join me if you wish. Do not keep me waiting, I hate to be left waiting, you know.” Lestat flashed her a smug smile as he stepped away to exit the room.

Isabelle pressed her lips together, starting to feel a tinge of jealousy for what Lestat had enjoyed, and more than a little inadequacy in the glowing terms he described Akasha in. She could never really measure up to something like that. She craved emotions like that, to experience and drink in what she could, but she would never be Akasha.

“You’ve had a colorful life.” Her voice was blank as she watched him, thinking about what it must have been like involved in that struggle.

The vampire chuckled, his gaze flitted down to Isabelle’s hand before he took it up in his own palm, “You don’t even know the half of it, love.” He raised her hand to his cold lips, giving her a quick kiss he set her hand back onto the table.

“But you are correct. That was only the beginning of the adventure I would have with Akasha. Marius chastised me for my arrogance, which would not be the first time by the way, and for disturbing the King and Queen.”

 Now, Lestat took a deep breath, he stared down at the table before looking back up at Isabelle through blonde eyelashes, “I’ve never told you about my music career have I in depth that is?”

Viola drew in her breath and rose from the tub. She listened to the sound of the water running from her hair and landing on the surface of the water like it was a symphony, knowing she would never hear it the same way again.

She wrapped herself in a towel and stepped out into the bedroom, shivering from more than just the cold. “I just wanted to say my goodbyes to a state of living,” she said quietly, meeting his gaze.

“Hmph,” Lestat huffed raised his chin as he eyed Viola; her long, dark hair was soaking wet and curled at the ends around her pale collarbone, “It’s not the final moments one remembers, dear.” He chuckles, “But it is the moment of the death itself.” He puts a hand on the door frame and steps into the bathroom, “Believe me when I say this, living is overrated. For you have not truly lived until you have become what the universe has always intended for you to be.”

At the bubbling laughter, Enjolras’ fingers curled to clench at the leather seat he’d found himself trapped on. “I am not your friend, and you will not address me so informally,” he rushed indignantly. His blue stare was steely; locked upon the taunting statue. “Your employees forced me here and locked me inside! If you presumed I was a fan of your music, this is how you treat them?” At seeing Lestat nearing him, his chuckling and compliment rang in his ears. There was a soft shift of fear that crossed Enjolras’ eyes. He shifted his body to pop up and smash himself out of the bus by whatever physical means necessary. But he found himself stuck to the seat; as if invisible tape had mummified him into the leather. Paralyzed. “What did you..” He whispered, voice tranquilly smooth even in terror.

Lestat sauntered around Enjolras where he sat on the leather seat, the vampire eyed him with a charming smile plastered across his porcelain face. Just when he made a gesture that seemed like he was about to sit down next to the boy, Lestat stepped close to the drinks cart that sat by the window, it was filled with luxury wines, whiskeys, and other liquors to make cocktails with. “Do you fancy a drink,  Enjolras?” Lestat asked the boy in French, “I might pour myself a little something but with the journey that lies head of myself it’s probably best not to... indulge tonight in anything too tantalizing.” He chuckled.

Sorry for my absence...

{ School had me busy for a while but I’ve got nothing to do this weekend so I’m gonna do replies tonight, I’m so sorry for being gone for what felt like forever but I’m back now. LIKE THIS FOR A STARTER and I’ll type one up for you later! I promise to be on here more now that I've dropped my college algebra class, I was spending most of my night’s working on homework for that class and it.. it was just a depressing nightmare lol. }

It was a whirlwind; the whole time his full lips streaming vicious protests and his mind dizzied. They couldn’t just snatch him like a rag doll at their will! And yet he found himself practically thrown like a sack into the entry of a gleeming tour bus; breathing from delicate lungs strained and ragged from his struggle. The security guard snarled, having been gifted more than a few bruises from Enjolras’ feist-ridden battering.

His body was plunged into the leather embrace of a loveseat, the door slamming and latching the bus locked with a metallic click. He saw the effervescent blonde seated across the way; watching him as a cat watches their sweet canary before being devoured. Even closer, he was stone; gaze swirling with fluorescence. Enjolras’ snapped upright stiffly, pulse drumming. Ignoring his sentiment, the youth murmured, “There is something wrong with you..you are a perfect Devil. You are the Devil himself,” in his words echoed all the soft, human melancholy of Louis.

Lestat snickered, then he out right tossed his head back and laughed at the boy’s words, “Oh! You have no idea, my friend.” He grinned, “I have a feeling we’re going to get a long just fine already.” The vampire stood up, allowing  Enjolras to get a good look, “You have no idea how pleased it makes me feel to hear you say that, I mean after all the time I’ve spent on my reputation I would hope others would share your opinion. Unfortunately, beautiful Enjolras ,I am not the Devil. But oh how he wishes he were me...” he sauntered forward.

Lestat removed his velvet top hat and took Lucy’s small hand into his palm, just before brushing his lips over her pale skin in an intimate greeting.

How much I adored him, I hated it when someone would call me by my real name. Of course I loved the touch of his lips against my neck, he was skilled. I hated him for it, yet I love him for it. Her mind went.

Her eyes widened “I must say you are hopeless, and I suppose you want me to beg for your love” she chuckled “That won’t happen, as I am not desperate” she walked up to him and looked him straight into the eyes “But I warn you, do not call me Maria. Maria died almost 3 centuries ago. My name is Arjuna, and you will call me Arjuna” she made her point very clear “The only person who used to call me by that name was my maker, and I would never like to see him again” she smiled at him, a warning. She loved him but do never cross the boundairies of this woman.

Lestat had struck a nerve. It was obvious, “As you wish, Arjuna.” The vampire lulled, “though if you ask me ‘Maria’ is a beautiful name. Such a shame you want to forget it. I admire your strength, your fierce courage. No, I will not ask you to beg, begging signifies weakness. And we both are too good for such things. Forgive my slip of the tongue, you mentioned your maker? What was his name? Maybe I know him.” He grinned.
