It hadn’t taken long for Shaxx to follow the scent of blood he picked up on to its source. Stalking along and coming around when she had fallen from the bears grasp and down into a thorny bush. Blue eyes stood out from the darkness and a clawed hand rested side on the trunk of a tree.

Needless to say, he was very new to this planet. Very intrigued by the beings that inhabited it normally. Unlike those wretched fallen pirates on other planets he’s ran into or the Vex that taken over his home world. Even the filthy Hive that lurked on their moon.

When she got up and began to walk, however. He moved slightly only to get a better look. A twig that snapped underfoot causing him to back up slightly, knowing full well this beings eyes were locked onto him. And his, with hers.

She talks, that was something that calmed this beast. He could easily have walked away when she told him to, but the loyalty and courage of his nature didn’t allow that. Furred lips pursed slightly as he stood at full height. “ Damsel in distress is too little of a title for you, i’d say. You seem like you could hold your own in battle, seeing that you remain living. Still, I can’t help, but notice your scratches and smell your blood. The bear is probably already almost here, so if you want to get out of here quickly, let me help you. I will deliver to to wherever you need to go.” He still stood in the shadows, though his tail could easily be made out , seeing that it was waving due to his curiosity.

The Warlock’s tongue grew still when the large Titan hissed at him in hushed tones.

It was not often that the Crucible himself took up in arms to join a Redjack fireteam during a mission to secure another site. But there must have been something about this place that intrigued Lord Shaxx, because he was the one to lead the group to the target co-ordinates this time.

Nevertheless, Kai had gone through his routines as standard, if only for a moment as the Titan’s tone had caused him to pause.

“Hear what, sir?” The Voidwalker asks softly, faceless helm turning to glance at the Lord.

Blue eyes roamed their surroundings. His gun being gripped and ready to shoot. Another rustle within the leaves and his ears flicked as he began to wonder off to their right. “ That. ”

He stood quietly, poking the leaves with the barrel of his shot gun when a Dreg happened to hop out. The result? His head was gone the second he jumped out.

Shaxx gave a low rumble of annoyance before lowering his weapon and returning to the group. “ Is anyone picking up any movement on their radars? ”
