How to Be That Girl at School ˖ ᡣ𐭩 ⊹ ࣪
a guide.
Over the summer, people like to use their free time to be productive, get ahead in school, focus on their body, mind, and become their dream self! With back-to-school season approaching, it’s a great way to implement new teachings into your everyday life. Become that dream girl you aspire to be!
1. SHOW UP PUT TOGETHER (YES, EVEN WHEN YOU’RE TIRED!)
That girl ALWAYS avoids looking like she just rolled out of bed, even if she did. I live by the saying when you look your best, you feel your best! Help yourself out by putting on skincare, perfecting your body care, understanding and knowing how to do your hair, and putting on a nice outfit, even if it’s simple! You’re curating your presence and being intentional with how you present yourself.
Find your go-to style and master it. This includes:
a staple hairstyle (slick back, voluminous curls, cute blowout, or just simple silky nd’ straight hair)
signature makeup style (soft beat, clean girl, full glam, etc)
outfits that exude your overall vibe & aesthetic
Along with mastering your style, you must be organized and ready. Set out your outfit the night before, have your bag prepared and ready to go, and plan your hair and makeup. Avoid being in a rush to avoid looking like a rush! Waking up early prevents you from having zero time to get ready. You can’t expect to do your hair, makeup, and extra steps in your routine 30 minutes before school.
And of course, you’re not required to wear makeup, spend the most money for your hair, or be overly dressed up for school everyday. But still continue to make sure you look presentable! This can be done by doing your skincare, cleaning up your brows, making sure your hair is nicely done, having good hygiene, and putting on a nice outfit.
2. CUTE STATIONARY = GOOD GRADES
I swear by this!! Whenever school starts back up, no matter what, I’m getting cute stationary. Cute = pink (duh!!!). Ignoring the fact that 99% of my supplies are pink, the fact that it’s adorable nd’ pretty helps me become motivated to do the work. I always make sure to keep my bag + stationary the same vibe.
You don’t need to specifically get the color pink, but having stationary that you can look at and say “this is so cute!” should help you get that motivation! If you’re going to take notes, make them aesthetic. Color coded highlighters, matching notebooks and gel pens help create an experience. Here are some things on my wishlist:
baby pink composition notebooks
coach journals
vs pink notebooks
pink + purple gel pens
ted baker pencil pouch
leopard print pouch
pastel highlighter set
3. MAKE YOUR BAG A BOUTIQUE
School doesn’t have to feel boring when you have your own mini vanity inside of your bag! Of course we need the basic school essentials such as notebooks and pens, but when you look your best, you feel your best! Start treating your bag like it’s your own very glam room.
this school year, I’ll be using the adorable Coach tote instead of a regular backpack. I feel like tote bags give the luxe and spoiled vibe i give off. This is a general list of things you’ll see in your bag!
mini perfume
wipes + hand cream
beauty pouch: lipgloss, powder, lipliner, mini mirror, lip balm, spoolies, claw clips, hair ties
mini hairbrush
nail clippers + file
hair ties
hand sanitizer
feminine products
4. CREATE YOUR OWN RUNWAY
Have you ever watched a movie, specifically a chick flick, and watched that specific scene of the girl walking into a room? All eyes are on her. She just had her makeover sequence and she’s a whole new person. Nobody can tear her down. She’s on top of the world. You can feel like that same girl. Turn hallways into your very own runway. Walk like you own it! Even if you’re totally tired or not in the mood, don’t show people that. Have your head up high, shoulders back, and step with purpose. Walking with confidence makes you look and feel unstoppable. You don’t have to talk loud to own the room.
5. KEEP YOUR BUSINESS PRIVATE
You don’t need to post or comment everything that happens to you. And you DEFINITELY don’t want to tell everyone your next move. Let people wonder about you. Not everyone is your friend, and not everyone is going to be nice to you. don’t overshare. don’t over explain. Stay careful, think about what you’re going to say first, and go on!
This doesn’t mean that you have to completely separate yourself from everyone. Talk to those closest to you or who you can fully trust. If you want to make sure no one has classified information, write in a journal! Writing in a journal is a great way to keep information and thoughts to yourself to avoid over sharing. So remember this:
stay smart and calculated
think before you speak
take your time
put 100% into yourself
And that’s all! Keep working on yourself and you’ll become a dream girl. It takes time, and the journey is long, but your reinvention is worth the wait. ❤︎

The Duffer's had their unsatisfying ending planned since 1x08 in a season that ran 10 hours and 8 minutes you can't make this shit up
What was the purpose of volume 2 and what might happen if we didn't get queerbait in the finale
When the entire narrative is placed back in chronological order, it becomes clear that Will begins Volume 1 still in love with Mike, eighteen months after the events of Season 4. Early on, he accidentally witnesses Robin and Vickie together, a moment that becomes quietly transformative for him. He realizes that he is not alone, that he is not “abnormal,” and that love is not inaccessible simply because one is different. Love is possible—even for him.
At the same time, Will discovers that his lingering connection to Vecna grants him a terrifying and unprecedented ability: he can enter Vecna’s mind and the minds of his victims, seeing through the eyes of the Demogorgons themselves. After speaking with Robin at the hospital, Will asks her how romantic signals become obvious. This question is deeply revealing. It confirms that his feelings for Mike are still very much alive, but unlike in Season 4, they are now accompanied by hope. That hope implies that Mike has, consciously or not, been sending signals to Will—something we already know to be true based on Season 4.
This emotional thread continues into the pivotal scene where Mike encourages Will to take control of Vecna’s powers, calling him a sorcerer. Shortly afterward, Robin delivers her heartfelt speech urging Will to accept who he is. These moments are not incidental; they are foundational to what follows.
During the mission to save the children, Vecna appears and delivers a chilling monologue explaining why he abducts them. He reminds Will that he was the first—that Will showed him what he was capable of. Vecna then forces Will to relive flashbacks of his past trauma, and when he tells Will that he has no place in this world, he specifically shows him memories of his heartbreak over Mike from Seasons 3 and 4. This is crucial: even Vecna knows that Will’s feelings for Mike are not a simple crush. Vecna weaponizes this knowledge to psychologically break him and, more importantly, to awaken his powers through rage. That attempt fails.
Vecna then escalates. He sends Demogorgons to attack Robin, Lucas, and Mike simultaneously, deliberately provoking Will. At that moment, drawing strength from Robin’s words, Will anchors himself in his memories—of Mike, Joyce, and Jonathan. Those memories become his shield and his fuel, finally activating his powers.
It is clear to me that Vecna sent those three Demogorgons with very specific intentions. The one sent after Mike was meant to immediately trigger Will’s powers—because Vecna knew that attacking Mike would provoke Will instantly. If his goal had simply been to hurt Will emotionally, he could have targeted Joyce instead, but he did not. The Demogorgons sent after Robin and Lucas functioned as tests: Vecna was measuring the extent of Will’s control, his range, and whether he could manage multiple Demogorgons simultaneously across long distances. Will proves that he can—successfully controlling the Demogorgon attacking Robin despite being miles away. Ultimately, all three Demogorgons are killed at the same time, their bones crushed in unison.
When Volume 2 begins, Will is noticeably more confident in his abilities, fully aware of the scope of his powers—yet he remains humble, instinctively downplaying what he has accomplished. His love for Mike is still unmistakable, especially when Mike pulls him into an embrace. However, the group is devastated by the failure of their plan to save the children, and they immediately set to work searching for another solution—this time centered around Will’s powers, with Joyce openly believing in him. Having gained control, Will now trusts himself in a way he never has before.
In a later conversation with Robin, we see that even after his childhood film epiphany—centered on his family and Mike—Will still views Mike as his Vickie. He asks Robin how she managed to end up with Vickie. Robin explains that before she ever approached her, she came out to Steve, and that being heard and understood gave her the confidence to try. This conversation exists to show that Will is actively learning, through Robin’s experience, how he might one day envision something possible with Mike.
Later, Will uses his powers to break Vecna’s leg and save Max, which leads to the discovery that Max and Holly are together. Enraged that his first vessel has turned his own methods against him—giving him a taste of his own medicine by “possessing” him for a few seconds—Vecna retaliates. He attacks Will while keeping his consciousness tethered to him. When Will loses consciousness, his mind is trapped in the very place where Vecna assaulted him.
Vecna cruelly mocks him, deliberately triggering his trauma by asking, “Does this bring back memories?” Will, however, fights back, mocking Vecna in return by reminding him that Max and Holly escaped and that he succeeded in breaking his leg. Vecna responds by claiming that Will only has these powers because he allowed him to have them—as if they were a gift. In reality, those powers were transmitted through violence and non-consensual penetration. This is a textbook example of Vecna gaslighting Will, reframing abuse as benevolence.
Finally, Vecna declares that Will was more than just a vessel, more than just a spy. He was his “builder.”
He then reveals the truth: it was Will who built the tunnels back in Season 2. Vecna goes on to say that Will will serve as his spy one last time, and he uses his powers to enter Will’s mind—his memories—in order to locate Max’s body. But that is not all.
What we did not see onscreen, yet what the narrative makes painfully clear, is that Vecna tortured Will. He subjected him to visions designed to break him completely, to terrify him at his core. These included false futures in which Vecna weaponized Will’s homosexuality and his love for Mike, making him believe that those feelings would inevitably cost him everything—that he would lose everyone he loved, that he would end up alone no matter what he did, even if he chose honesty. I am deeply convinced that Vecna showed him far more than this—things we do not yet know, at least not consciously. But what is undeniable is that when Will wakes up after Eleven brings him back, he is psychologically and emotionally shattered.
He has lost all hope. He tells Joyce that everything is his fault—that every death is his responsibility, that the children were kidnapped because of him. He takes absolute blame for everything, carrying the full weight of the catastrophe on his shoulders. And even when Joyce tells him this is not true, he keeps repeating it through tears, consumed by guilt. The fragile confidence he had begun to develop, along with the hope he carried in Volume 1 and Episode 5, is completely annihilated by Vecna’s torture.
This is confirmed during the coming out scene. Will does not come out because he wants to—he does so because he feels he has no choice. Through Max, he understands that as long as he harbors fears, Vecna will continue to exploit them to haunt and weaken him. So Will comes out out of sheer despair, while he is still in shock, still traumatized by Vecna’s visions. And it is painfully clear that even though part of him knows those visions are not true, they have influenced him deeply enough to convince him that his love for Mike is “just a crush” he must rid himself of—that it will never lead anywhere, because Mike is not like him and will inevitably reject him. (You can never truly know that unless you speak to him, Will.) He becomes convinced that his difference will ultimately sever him from the people he loves, leaving him abandoned and alone.
I believe Will comes out in order to strip Vecna of that fear, to help defeat him—but more than that, I believe he does it because he thinks he has nothing left to lose. As the bridge between worlds, he is preparing himself to be sacrificed to stop Vecna.
Vecna witnessed what triggered Will’s powers, and he saw the memories that pulled Will back from possession in Season 2—memories of his family, but above all, memories of Mike, the person who loves him. And we know that Henry fully surrendered himself to the darkness when he believed he had lost Patty’s love—because it was love that gave him strength. So what does Vecna do when he realizes that Will’s power and confidence are activated not only by self-acceptance, but by his love for Mike?
He tortures him with visions until Will loses all hope—until he minimizes his own love for Mike by projecting a rejection that has never actually occurred, since Will has never openly spoken to Mike about his feelings. This coming out was both an act of truth and an act of renunciation. It was meant to let go of his feelings for Mike. And that is exactly what Vecna wanted.
Vecna made Will believe that the only way to defeat him was to abandon his love for Mike and to come out. Yet the series—reiterated again in Volume 2 through Max and Lucas—never stops reminding us that the answer has always been love. Vecna needs Will for his plan. He needs this powerful Will, the one who can control his abilities. Forcing Will to abandon the very thing that could save him mirrors exactly what happened to Henry.
This aligns perfectly with the idea that Will believes the only way to stop everything is to die. Vecna succeeds in trapping Will by extinguishing all hope, by pushing him to abandon his love for Mike and his will to live: “Without heart, we all fall apart—even me, especially me.” Brenner and the Mind Flayer convinced Henry that Patty did not love him, to the point that Henry ended up physically hurting her. They manipulated him into giving up. And that is precisely what Vecna does to Will. Through his visions, he wounds him deeply enough to manipulate him.
Vecna forces Will to emotionally abandon Mike in the same way Brenner forced Henry to physically abandon Patty. Will tries to save everyone by self-sabotaging—just as he was willing to die in Season 2 when he begged them to close the gate while he was still under the Mind Flayer’s control, and just as he sacrificed his feelings for Mike so that Mike could give his monologue to Eleven, a speech that ultimately helped Vecna open the fourth gate.
Vecna has broken Will so thoroughly that manipulating and controlling him now comes effortlessly.
Will says it himself to Joyce—he states it in the present tense—that Vecna controls him, that he possesses him. Vecna has gaslit Will so thoroughly that Will is now convinced he belongs to his abuser, no matter what he does. At this point, Will is so profoundly vulnerable that Vecna can do virtually anything to him, and this remains true even after the coming out.
Will needs both romantic love and self-acceptance. Self-acceptance alone has clearly not been enough, and Volume 2 confirms this. The fact that Vecna ultimately succeeds in persuading Will to abandon his feelings for Mike—going so far as to convince him that Mike is his Tammy rather than his Vickie—is further proof. If that were not the case, this realization would have come in the final episode. But it does not.
The only way to counter this is for that idiot Mike—who has apparently finally understood that Will was talking about him during the coming out—to have his avalanche moment: to connect every piece of the puzzle and to finally tell Will that he is not his Tammy, but very much his Vickie.
Seasons 4 and 5 repeatedly emphasize the same core themes: secrets destroy, truth liberates, and love conquers evil. Will lies to himself and to Mike up until his coming out—and even then, he minimizes his feelings, meaning it is still not fully honest. Mike, meanwhile, has been lying to himself since Season 3, and by omission, lying to both Eleven and Will. Season 4 is, quite literally, the two of them pretending they are not in love with each other. Need I remind anyone of the van scene? Or the painting?
Will tried to free himself from secrets by coming out, but in doing so, he created a new one: he categorized his love for Mike as a past crush that must be abandoned. Mike learning about Will’s feelings for him—and witnessing Will’s courage in coming out in front of everyone—should provoke something profound in Mike. One can only hope it pushes him to finally lay all the cards on the table, to confront everything they have been hiding from each other for entire seasons: the painting, the van scene, their argument in Season 3. They have things they need to say to each other—once and for all.
Vecna knows that Mike’s love could save Will, and therefore give Will the power to defeat him. That is precisely why Vecna had to do everything possible to make Will abandon both his feelings for Mike and his hope. Let us not forget that Mike was Will’s anchor in Season 2 and again in Volume 1—and Vecna saw that. It is therefore entirely logical that Vecna would weaponize this bond in order to reach Will in the way he wanted.
The solution—and what would be a true narrative twist—is that the “normal” one, the character currently perceived by part of the audience as useless due to his apparent erasure and his POV absence, Mike, becomes the key. By being honest with himself and with Will, by finally admitting his feelings, he would save Will—and, by extension, the world. In doing so, he would finally become Mike the Brave, brave in his own right.
And through that bravery and honesty, love would give strength to Will the Wise, the sorcerer, enabling him at last to defeat the one who has been hurting him since he was twelve years old—since the very beginning, on November 6th, 1983.
Sooo many plotholes
First of all what the fuck was that like character and story-wise but also there are so many plot holes and unresolved things like actually someone try to answer these, here's a list:
Why is Hawkins in the Upside Down, why are all the buildings there, how were they physically created?
How did El recognize Will in Season 1?
How is it that El can make a psychic connection with a Demogorgon in the Abyss (this is how she opened the gate in S1) but cannot find Henry when he is in the Abyss?
How did El send Henry to the Abyss (in the Massacre of Hawkins Lab) without the Upside Down opening, time would have to be frozen on that date if that's when the bridge was originally opened, but it isn't, so she seemingly sent him straight there without a wormhole which makes no sense?
How did Will see the lights/letters if time is frozen in S1? How could Joyce hear Will through the phone, why did the phone short out when he tried to call 911, why did it fry during the call?
Why is it suddenly okay to blow up the exotic matter as part of their final plan when Dustin just said it would destroy the Earth, what changed?
If the Upside Down is frozen in time on Nov 6th 1983 how are all of Brenner's notes on the Upside Down there if that is the first time it was opened, how would he know any of that stuff, if it was only then created?
Why didn't Henry just make a physic connection to El to open a bridge like El did with the Demogorgon in S1?
Where the hell is the Mind flayer?
How can Demogorgons make gates, they don't have physic powers and its implied this is the only way to open a gate, to make a physic connection with someone in another dimension?
Why is the ground on the Earth side not the abyss side?
More of a continuity error, but I'm pretty sure on one of the maps they drew the circle of the wall on, Lover's Lake is outside of the wall which makes no sense cause there's a gate there?
How can an einstein-rosen bridge be made up of literal vines/living creatures?
How does time pass the same exact way in the Upside Down as the Earth and as the Abyss?
Now that that mind flayer dust escaped the demogorgon in Shock Jock, what's gonna happen to it? Even if they close everything there's still part of the Mind flayer on Earth?
I'm absolutely shitting my pants i've been laughing for 15 minutes
duffer brothers: Bylers, come on! You can't leave, it's raining. Listen, I said I was sorry, alright? It's a cool ship, it's really cool. We're just not in the mood right now.
us: Yeah, Duffer Brothers, that's the problem. You guys are never in the mood anymore. You're ruining our show!
duffer brothers: That's not true!
us: Really? Where's Finn's big emotional moment right now? See? You don't know, and you don't even care, and obviously he doesn't either, I don't blame him! You're destroying everything, and for what? So you can sideline Mike completely and turn Will’s lifelong love into some stupid “he's just my crush” storyline?
duffer brothers: That storyline is not stupid! It's not my fault you don't like queerbait!!...... I'm not trying to be a jerk, okay? But we're not good writers anymore. I mean, what did you think, really? That we were actually gonna let Mike be the Heart? That we were gonna give Finn real emotional material and respect Will's arc and emotional buildup with a come out scene in a quiet, meaningful way with only the people who love him?
us: Yeah. I guess I did. I really did.
duffer brothers: Bylers! Bylers! Bylers, come on!
IT IS NOT A CRUSH
MIKE IS NOT TAMMY
I’ve only been watching this show for a few months, not years like most fans have, and yet I KNOW what I saw between Mike and Will in s1-s4 but ESPECIALLY s4.
They cannot undo what they have already shown. And what they have shown is Mike is head over heels for Will.
Well butter my butt and call me a biscuit, because I'm actually very excited to see where Will minimizing his feelings and using past tense is leading, here.
(The choice to have Will mention this “crush” in the first place is very buzzy to me, because there is no reason to tell a room full of people that you used to have a crush during your coming out. At all. This is leading somewhere).
Mike's reaction was the most interesting, and there was a reason they showed it so frequently. This storyline is not finished until Mike knows Will was talking about him. The cogs were turning...
It's giving, “Maybe he's painting for a girl. At least, I think there's someone he likes.”
He’s either thinking back to their moment in the van, or trying not to crash-out thinking Will likes liked someone else all along. Realistically, it’s the former. Only time will tell, but he's smart enough to figure it out himself, I think.
With the way this has been set up, there’s only a few avenues they can go down if Mike and Will have any further conversation on this topic (which I'm certain they will).
No matter the outcome, the following questions need to be posed by Mike when he seeks clarification during a moment alone:
“Were you talking about me?”
“So... you don't like me anymore?”
The second is most interesting to me, because it exposes insecurity. We know Mike has been said to have no idea of Will’s sexuality or feelings. Bylers have always accepted this, with most believing that Will’s motivational speech by the pizza dough freezer was his confirmation that Will did not feel anything for him.
So, for all of season 5 Mike has assumed this to be the case. Now he knows that is likely not the case. I think this is his, “How obvious?” moment.
Except… it’s less hopeful, and more, “So… he’s just over me then?”
Again — extremely buzzy. (It’s giving Ross and Rachel’s: “You’re over me? When were you… under me?”)
I think Will has decided to move on. Deciding to move on is different to actually moving on. Feelings don’t just switch on and off like that. I expect the writers to be competent enough to know this, lest we get some Disney channel sitcom ass writing. (The dark timeline).
In the good timeline, Mike waits for a quiet moment and seeks clarification. He’s really interested to know when and why Will stopped liking him. Will fumbles. Mike notices. Romantic tension and truth-telling ensue.
The dark timeline is that Will has managed to alakazam his feelings away and Mike gives him a bro tap on the shoulder and finally gives his girlfriend romantic attention after a season of Midleven nothingburger.
It’s not over yet. Maybe we’re in the dark timeline, and it’s okay to prepare for that. I am too. But it’s not over until Mike says his piece and closes the gap.
This is not the reaction of someone who is thinking to themselves, “I’m happy for my friend who has just come out to me.”
It’s something else. And it’s directly after Will insists he’s accepted it’s not happening.
I remain optimistic! Just cautiously so.

how to make a mini library of alexandria (on a laptop) and actually use it: short guide
So what do I mean by this
Basically
Read a lot. Learn a lot by reading a lot
Knowing where to read a lot, have variety ykwim
Be smart but the chaotic academic way
In this age, it is very important to educate yourself if the world won’t do it for you
WHERE TO FIND INFORMATION
First, how do you find places to lurk in and gain info from (for books):
Where to find recommendations : literally anywhere but my favorite place is pinterest
Read for free: onlinereadfreenovel.com , novel80.com,
Download for free : OceanofPDF , Planet eBook, d-pdf.com, pdfdrive.com, even pinterest (I once found the entire cruel prince series and the heroes of olympus series on it)
Yeah a library is a place of books, but most importantly, it's a hub of knowledge . Some places where you can learn a lot of include: articles, channels, interviews, websites, audiobooks, aka the media
HOW TO LEARN AND INTERACT WITH THIS INFO
How to force yourself to learn it in the first place: Have the page up and let it sit there on an interesting page (or article or point of the movie) so that when you remember and glance at it you’ll want to read or know more and keep going.
The best way to know a lot about something is to deep dive into it and the best way to do that is to rabbit hole. For medias and books, you can start by researching:
Their sources
Their author/directors/creator’s : other works, inspirations or any considered successor, life (specific experiences that might have shaped who they are)
How to interact with the knowledge you’ve just learn
Discuss it, debate it, teach it, sing it, write it, just share it
HOW TO ORGANIZE ALL THESE BOOKS (what I do)
Make folders on File Explorer or alternatives (for e.g. i have a folder of all my books and another for my movies with subfolders)
Make lists of books you have and books on the tbr list
Sites/apps for notetaking : Notion, Obsidian, Arena, Milanote
this is kinda rushed and weird but I liked making this so yeah!

So my sister wants to start sewing more, because
a. She’s 5′ 11″ and can never find pants long enough for her legs or shirts long enough for her arms.
b. She hates synthetic fibers as much as I do and it’s difficult to find natural fiber clothes that aren’t made of cotton
c. She’s a biologist and would physically fistfight microplastics if given half a chance
So her gift from mom and dad for her birthday was a sewing machine. Not a super expensive one but a good solid serviceable one.
And recently she asked “So where do I GET wool or linen and thread that isn’t polyester” and mom was like ‘go ask your sister’
And I, of course, crashed into the group text like “GET A PEN I HAVE WEBSITES FOR U” and honestly I’m thrilled about this
“Where did u get all this”
“Bets, u know I’m a 15th degree blackbelt of buying shit on the internet”
“oh yeah tru”
Op can may we inquire about the website list
Linen; https://www.graylinelinen.com/
cotton and Silk thread; https://redrockthreads.com/
Linen thread and wool fabric; https://burnleyandtrowbridge.com/ (they’ve got wool stuffs and worsted wool fabric for $15 a yard! I just got three yards of navy worsted wool I’m making a constellation winter skirt from)
More linen thread and wool; https://wmboothdraper.com/ (just ordered wool broadcloth to make a coat)
Silk fabric (THE best place to get silk lining fabrics and raw silk fabric):https://www.dharmatrading.com/
A varying assortment of wool and silk and cotton and even some leather, use coupon code spring2020 for 50% off your full order, worked yesterday when I bought some stuff there; https://metrotextilesnyc.com/
Wool. You want wool coating for under $20 a yard? Sure you do. It’s here. Not a huge variety of colors, most are black or brown, but hey https://www.fashionfabricsclub.com/Catalog?refinementIds=4096748&Keyword=wool&pageSize=16
I don’t know a lot about sewing, but I want to make or have my mom make some linen pants & shirts for when I’m watering, because it gets to 105 here and we have mosquitos so I need to be covered. What type of linen do I buy? Also, linen pajama shorts, yes/no?
(I’ve been wearing my renfaire pants which are a linen mix, I think. But the frikking mosquitos that hide in the tomatoes get my arms)
Medium weight is what I’d go with.
And linen pajama shorts is a HARD yes.
Renaissance Fabrics is good for all sorts of things
Mood doesn’t specialize in natural fabrics but they do have basically every fabric ever made so
For wools, I cannot recommend Woolsome enough! They’re a bit more expensive then the above links, but they have a spectacular range of colours and weights, as well as diamond pattern and herringbone weaves. They also have a range of linens, though not as extensive.
Historical fabrics for re-enactors
Tiedtohistory.com has sheer voile linen
The Linen Lab has a variety of weaves, weights, and colors available
Period Fabric has a variety of wools, but switch to the full website if you’re on mobile
If you’re in Canada,
http://purelinenenvy.ca
has 100% linen at $17 / metre Canadian. Hard to beat! I made a lovely dress out of some and it breathes wonderfully. So I bought more to make another dress 😁
For those of us who live on the right side of the Atlantic and particularly the Northern part of it.

Sells fabric for re-enactment, the wools are not cheap but the linen is very reasonably priced and they have some light ones that are great for blouses.

Same as classic fabrics sells fabrics and haberdashery for re-enactment. The wools are still not very cheap but cheaper than classic fabric but on the other hand they don’t always have everything in stock

General fabric store with a very diverse range from softshell, to some very good waterproofs to cottons and everything in between. They have a very broad range of wools from fairly expensive to the cheapest I’ve found online that is not mixed up with something else and of good quality.

General fabric store with a fairly broad range of linens and linen/cotton/viscose mixes. They also have a very light silk cotton mix that works very well as lining but doesn’t break your budget. The color range of that one is very small though. The rest of their silks are expensive but they do sell liberty silks if you want something that pops. Their pure wools tend to be expensive but occasionally they manage to snatch the end of a stock that they sell much cheaper.

General fabric store, they are very very cheap in general and so is their linen. The color range is pretty broad but the linen itself is on the heavy side. Great for a pair of summer pants or a skirt but less so for a blouse. They also have some really really cheap boiled wool but the quality is honestly very meh.

General fabric store. Their regular stock is on the more expensive side and is rather variable depending on what they can get though they usually have silks, linens and wools . Their sales are to die for, however, so this is one to regularly check to see if there is something you like and then immediately snatch.
Repost to add a few more addresses I forgot.

End of stock reseller, they sell quality suiting and coating wools for usually no more than 24 euro’s the meter, linens for usually no more than 20 and often less, their silks vary more wildly but they usually have at least a few that are around 25 and right now they have silk lining fabric at 15 euro the meter which is frankly a steal. They are an end of stock reseller however, so if you waited too long and its gone, it will remain gone.

Slightly off course but could be relevant since the different diy crowds do overlap. If you need cheaper but good quality leather and live in the Netherlands ( though I suspect the guy also ships to the rest of the benelux) this guy is an absolute treasure. He does not have an actual webshop, if you want to buy, you have to e-mail him and tell him what you precisely want. He will either find something that fits those exact needs or be very honest with you if he doesn’t have it and will usually ship it to you the same day you pay the invoice. If you don’t quite know what you need for a project he is also very knowledgeable about which leather will be more appropriate and he will give you honest advice about it. His veg tan leather is often 2/3 or even half the price I can find elsewhere, and he has some lovely lamb nappa that are perfect for gloves and also ridiculously low priced. He does regularly have a stand at fabric fairs and he is always there at Castlefest if you like to touch your leather first before buying.
