another big ol doodle dump because these guys are so easy to draw it’s fun, this time centered around the siblings of the group! Rush & Ambush, and Hide & Seek (plus Jack, this is my first time drawing him and no i don’t like it but ehhhhh whatever i’ll figure out a design later)
- Seek and Jack really don’t like each other very much and kind of compete for Hide’s attention in a way. back when they first met, Hide didn’t like Jack, feeling he was a bit invasive, so Seek saw them as someone it had to protect Hide from. Hide has since warmed up to him, leaving Seek feeling a bit conflicted.
- Hide still doesn’t take kindly to the way Jack barges in sometimes, and in those cases only lets them stay long enough to get a scare out of the player, but when Jack knocks and respects Hide’s boundaries they’re allowed to stay. They’ve had genuinely nice conversations and are kind of friends.
- Seek never really saw hide too much to begin, but liked having one-on-one time with it. Unfortunately, Jack likes to scare Seek just as much as it does the player, which sometimes ends up driving it away from its sibling as it doesn’t want to deal with Jack being there.
- Hide is unaware of this drama
- Rush and Ambush are somewhat close, often racing each other through the halls and goofing off, but they have squabbles somewhat frequently, almost always caused by Rush as they’re the more vocal and emotional of the two. they absolutely care about each other but still have quite the rivalry
- As seen in the doodles they have very different tactics, Rush constantly zipping through the halls hoping to catch a player off guard and Ambush watching and waiting more methodically before going in and spending its energy really tormenting the player waiting for them to slip up and maybe a little help from Hide
- They get into arguments mainly over who’s tactic is best, both are very prideful and refuse to accept any criticism or try anything new.
- Seek is kind of in on their little club of chasers, but is on thin ice as it’s the slowest of the three.
- Seek often brings up how maybe ambush and rush should try to work together, like how it asked for Hide’s help to try and capture the player and really stressed them out. They both hate that idea. Rush wants to be independent, Ambush doesn’t want to deal with their bickering, and both know they would beat the hell out of one another to get to be the one to kill the player.
