i'll never forget how aizen essentially just *ruined* kisuke's life. ruined it. stripped him away from his home, hollowified his friends and lieutenant and colleagues, forced him to leave his home as someone dangerous and accused of comitting atrocities and gaining a terrible reputation... making kisuke regret anything ever to do with the hogyoku...his greatest sin.

and yet. kisuke managed to rebuild and fill his small shop in the world of the living with love. managed to try and find a solution in order for his friends to at least have some sort of peace, tried his best. has two modified souls that are basically like children. living with his childhood best friends, mentoring a boy who'd change the fate of everyone and his friends... just having a Community. and aizen could have had that community with people in the gotei 13 afterwards and yet now... he is the farthest he can be from the soul palace, locked away and forgotten in the depths of muken. funny how things work out, isn't it?
