personality: naoki leads a rather secretive lifestyle due to his profession, which he is ashamed of. he has a hard time finding interest in anything, and any hobbies that don't lead him to fall into a pit of decay and self-destruction are either legally questionable or simply strange. naoki is selfish and overly straightforward, and his division teammates are the only ones who continue to tolerate him, although he has been on the verge of breaking off relationships with them several times due to his own actions. naoki is difficult to communicate with due to his emotional roller coaster: sometimes he hates everyone and everything, believing himself to be an incomprehensible genius, and sometimes he's on the verge of self-destruction due to feelings of guilt and helplessness. despite his difficult personality, he strives to change and improve in order to avoid losing those he holds dear.
backstory: since childhood, naoki dreamed of becoming an outstanding fashion designer, he wanted to be the center of attention, he always believed that he was worthy of more and better. at school he learned to sew and began to create his first designs, however, he really managed to reveal his talent when in high school he met his future best friend. he became his muse, all of his designs naoki sewed on his measurements and gave to try on only him. goto dreamed of entering the bunko college of fashion, and he wanted his friend to become his model on the entrance exams. however, after graduating from high school, almost a week before the exam, they had a big argument because of naoki. due to the stress of the argument, he was very distracted and incredibly upset. his competitors took advantage of this and ruined his portfolio for the entrance exam, which prevented him from getting into his dream college. he was unable to get into any other college, leaving him with no energy to pursue his dreams. this failure was so devastating that naoki locked himself in his room, refusing to interact with society. no matter how much he tried, the new designs were disgusting. a prolonged depression set in, goto began to live like a hikikomori, but after a year of such a life, his parents got tired of putting up with their son on their neck. he started trying to find a job and a place in life again. it took him a long time to successfully develop his lingerie brand and open a boutique in the akihabara area, but he does not consider this to be his merit. it was a pure accident.
