To whoever it was that harassed our fandom mate…
Have you ever seen an anime or a game where a character shared resemblances to another character you know? Yes, yes you have.
Perhaps Kakashi and Gojo share similarities, yeah?
But does it mean they’re the same?
So what makes you think you have the right to harass an OC creator for having a VERY COMMON hair and eye color combination, that real people have by the way, and that you can be so audacious to assume they’re copying another? Have you even bothered to look at the characters in more depth to see they aren’t the same?
You could have chosen kindness and let people be, but you decided to be cruel, nasty little sewer rats and bully someone off.
I just hope you understand that in real life, you’ll meet people who look or act like you. And that if you have OCs of your own, you’ll find ones with similar personalities or designs. And that, if you can use common sense and basic media literacy, you too can comprehend that this does not make two things the same.
And I really hope you understand that perhaps you aren’t mature enough to be in fandom spaces if this is how you act. At the end of the day, these things are fictional; they are not real. So what do you gain by harassing a real human being over it?
We should be celebrating when our brains think similarly to another, it’s truly a beautiful thing. We should be uplifting each other’s creativity and vulnerability to share our characters that are personal of us, because that’s really scary to do, and these creators on here are kind and incredible and just want to express this creativity in a safe outlet.
So I strongly advise you keep your mouth shut next time if you have nothing nice to say and let people be happy.
