⚠️ PSA TUMBLR SCAM WARNING

there’s a scam going around that’s exactly like the discord “false report” scam, except it’s pretending to be from Tumblr staff.

if someone messages you or emails you saying they “accidentally reported your account” and that your blog might get deleted unless you “appeal” through a Tumblr staff member, don’t click anything or message those accounts bc tumblr doesn’t contact people that way — they’ll never DM you or tell you to reach out to “staff” on another account.

Real Tumblr emails come from [email protected], and even then, they don’t threaten deletion or “legal action.”

if you get something like that, just ignore + report it through tumblr.com/support.
