I’ve decided i’m not going to post much art for a while. I feel like I’ve gotten into a toxic mentality of posting all my art, being proud of it, and then feeling crappy about it when it gets 4 notes and for my own personal progress and happiness I think it’s time to just keep my art for me for a bit. 

But we seriously need to consider on tumblr how we engage with art. The fact that I can post something and I’m the only one reblogging it and that if I didn’t even do that it’d maybe have 2 or 3 notes is rough when we naturally seek validation. Even more so when you consider artists spent hours on their work and put a lot of emotion into it. 

Please consider if you like a piece of art, reblogging it too. Even if you want to make a separate blog to reblog art to keep it off your main one, that’s fine, but please can we consider actively engaging with artists more because only popular artists on tumblr get any traction or positive engagement and...yeah.

But i’m taking a step back because I don’t want to see my art as content and I don’t want my positive feelings about my art to be damaged or changed negatively by a perceived lack of interest from others. 

I will post again at some point, but I’m planning on keeping stuff for me for now and just enjoying my art for me.

Okay, so I haven’t watched the Bad Batch because i’m still trying to watch Clone Wars but I do love all the clones and…Captain Howzer has been all over my tumblr and other forms of social media and I just couldn’t resist drawing him in my own way!

I think i’m slowly learning the ways I want to do digital art and the ways I want to draw the clones as well!
