yes I do!! (you reminded me to finish up his pattern)
PIRATE GASTER CROCHET PATTERN:
white yarn (or green. if you want to do green gaster...)
mc - magic circle
sc - single crochet (use shift + enter kari!)
dec - decrease stitch
flo - front loops only (so usually you work into both loops on top of a stitch, use the loop closest to you)
blo - back loops only
row 1. with white yarn (or green..), mc, sc 6
row 2. sc inc in each (12)
row 4-9. for 6 rows, do sc with no increases (18)
row 10. sc 2, dec, sc 3, dec, sc 3, dec, sc 3, dec (14)
(in english: have 4 decreases)
embroidery time!! get black yarn, and i did his face in this order:
the mouth (between rows 4 and 5, and 4 st's wide)
the right eye, start with the crack going up into his face (can sew in anywhere from like... the top of row 10 to do one full line, or anywhere in rows 8 or 9,,, and then do one tiny part after finishing the eye to seal the crack) then do 3-4 more loops two rows tall from rows 8 and 9 on both sides of the string to make his eye
the left eye, the crack on that side i added a small half loop to get it to be a little crooked (you can see the picture as reference), and for the closed eye its about 3 stitches apart and between rows 7 and 8. similarly i added a halfway point to allow it to curve
TIP FOR EMBROIDERY THAT I DO!! If i want a line to be thicker, or if i want it to be curved sometimes i bring my needle around the stitched in line a few times to add some thickness to it! It's a little hard to match the direction with the taut direction of the yarn, though. It can either turn out really good or just ok ^^; here I did it with his mouth! about 4-6 loops around.
row 1. with black yarn, mc, sc 6
row 4-5. sc around no inc (18)
row 6. in FLO, sc 7, dc inc, dc inc, sc 7, dc inc, dc inc (22)
row 7. [sc 3, sc inc, sc 3, sc inc 4] rep twice.
(in english: do a sc increase on the fourth sc stitch in the middle of the set of 7, and over every dc stitch, do an sc increase) (32)
row 8. sc all around (32). sl st and do an invisible join to seamlessly end off the end of the hat.
leave a long tail on the hat and cut your yarn!
also for reference, the front and back of the hat are where the double crochet stitches are.
take some white yarn and pick one side of the hat to sew the crossbones onto. I.. wish I had a better explanation for this,, but id make lose diagonal lines and then come back around for the base of the bone to kinda wrap over, and pull it taut. the top circle is just going into the same two parts about 5 times to make a small circle. The back of the hat will look a little messy but that's fine, as you'll now take the black thread and tack on the top of the hat to row 3 to help it keep its shape on both the front and the back side.
then, sew the hat onto the top of gaster's head! (...the stitch count does not match. forgive me. you may have to stitch two parts of his hat into one stitch in gasters head a few times...)
don't forget to stuff the plushie before closing it off!
row 1. with black yarn again, go inbetween the 6 sc stitches on the bottom of gaster's head and pull up 6 sc stitches as a base.
row 4. sc 2, sc inc (21)
(...mine has 22 stitches going around... im sure thats fine.... do what you will...)
row 5-9. normal sc around (22)
row 10. BLO, repeat sc 3, dec. (17)
(in english, repeat sc 3, decrease, until you've made 5 decreases. then make two more sc st before going to the next row)
take a break here to make the hands, his v-neck, and stuff the plushie! then come back after.
row 11. sc, sc dec repeat until 12 stitches left
(in english, repeat sc, decrease, until you've made 5 decreases again. two sc at the end before the next row)
row 12. sc dec all (6), then one sl st to make the join more seamless.
sew through the last 6 stitches and close shut!
make a magic circle but don't close it all the way. sc 7 on each! leave a long tail in one to go back to the top of gaster's body and go back and forth to make a little triangle shape. go back to row 11 on the body to finish it off!

FINAL NOTE: you can just continue adding decreases to the top of gaster's head and close it off that way if you do not want him to be a pirate. something like.. sc, sc dec, and then sc dec all, and then close up the top of head like you do the bottom of the torso w/ a sl st and then joining the 5-6 stitches left.
