i gotta ask, what would be the version of 'mabel land' in your relativity falls? would there even be one?? im so interested...

ive been mulling over this for so long you have no idea. im still not sure if what i came up with is good lmao

i was thinking that stan’s version of mabeland could be the stan o’ war out in the open ocean. there would be no one else allowed besides stan and ford, making it so they no longer have to deal with anyone’s judgement or comparisons - stan is not made to feel stupid in comparison to ford, ford is not made to feel weak in comparison to stan. they just get to live out their dream of sailing together, forever

my idea kinda branched off in two directions. in the first one (which im leaning towards, hence the comic) stan would be able to simply draw whatever land / creature / treasure he wanted, and it would come into existence

i wanted to incorporate the drawing element instead of him just conjuring it with his mind or something because stan drawing comics as a kid is very important to me okay……. let him be creative…

the second idea was that there really is nowhere to go, the boat would just sail on endlessly. the logic being that if there was some kind of destination to reach, it would also mean an end point for stan and ford’s adventure. if the boat doesn’t ever arrive anywhere, though, the journey never ends. i kinda liked this idea too but it felt a little too depressing

also i have no idea what the equivalent of dippy fresh would be lmao. i didnt want to think about that creature
