Liam: Liam didn't even know why he was facetiming Louis, not with the other man living in the same house and he could've just as well walk into the living room to talk to him. This was the safer option though, because if he actually got to courage to confess to his best friend about what he'd been doing lately, at least this way Lou couldn't smack him. At least not without first seeking him out, that is. As soon as his friend's grumpy face appeared on screen, Liam let out a huff of laughter. "Looking good there Lou. That expression of befuddlement really suits you," he teased, trying to make the other man laugh before he'd drop the bomb. Or was he trying to stall for time, perhaps. "I know what you're thinking, did I really just facetime you while you're like ten feet away from me? I did and yes, I'm just that lazy. Modern technology is wonderful, isn't it?" More stalling. He was going to get to the point, eventually. But he also wanted to savor the last few moments where his best friend didn't wanna kill him.
Louis: He was in his room, trying to write some music and focus on his second album, minding his damn business when he could notice his phone ringing, and then when Liam's face appeared once Louis accepted the call, he arched an eyebrow. "What the actual fuck, lad. Could've join me in my room." He laughed out loud. He couldn't believe Liam was too lazy to even come join him in his room, but he wasn't going to judge him, because knowing him, he'd do the same with Liam. "Modern technology is something fantastic, if I must say." He made himself comfortable on the bed, looking at his mate's face. "What are ya doing there, idiot? Come see me. And bring food, I'm fuckin' starving, thank you, love you lots." He told the singer, licking his lips as he took a deep breah, holding his phone carefully.
