I told you, no more fighting
If you wanted to see how many people don’t know what taxes are or how they work, read the notes
I think my only problem with continued joke— tech bros just invented busses tech bros just invented renting etc— is that it assumes these guys are just clueless idiots who don’t know how the world works. The reality is these guys know exactly what they’re doing and what they’re doing is creating a lifestyle that deliberately excludes the poor. Re-invent the bus system so you don’t have to sit next to the poor. Re-invent renting to be even more exclusive. Re-invent taxes so you be sure your money is only helping “your community” ie other wealthy people and then vote to lower actual taxes so that none of that money goes to help anybody else. This is absolutely a purposeful plan. Nobody wants to drive on roads with potholes or walk on broken sidewalks but why should our tax money go to *those people* I know let’s create a “community startup” so we can cut taxes without personal inconvenience.
hi hello chào
i haven’t blogged here like i used to long ago, but i will tonight because i just need to write out my thoughts instead of them being stuck in my head.
i’m trying to process my feelings about a theme in my life today. two times today on separate occasions my field instructor and my professor told me that i’m hard on myself. i didn’t even realize that in myself but now that i’ve been thinking about it and thinking back, i am hard on myself--and it’s been like that for my whole life. it’s what drives me, my motivator. or one of my self-motivators. i never thought it was a bad/harmful thing but i can see how it can get extreme and end up making me suffer instead of pushing me positively. i’ll need to figure this out further and see how i can handle this going forward.
so the track of becoming a licensed clinical social worker: so much self-analysis, introspection, self-awareness on myself--but good thing i had lots of practice from years already lol

Friends,
I wrote a song for Tonya Harding. It’s not at all related to the new biopic (I sent it to the music supervisors but they couldn’t find a way to use it). This song has been years in the making. I’ve been trying to write a Tonya Harding song since I was 15. I wrote a short piece about it here. There are two versions of the song and we are releasing them on tape cassette (available now) and on 7-inch (available soonish). All digital versions are available now:

Please enjoy. If you don’t know who Tonya Harding is, go see the movie, or read her Wikipedia page. She’s amazing. My prayer is peace on earth. Lord help us.
I love you Tonya.
Say to her. Say to her. Can you remember? The first time we met? Don’t you remember the first caress?
Hey baby, where were you back there when I needed your hand? I thought that if I stuck my neck out I’d get you out of your shell My faith is sick and my skin is thin as ever I need you alone Goodbyes always take us half an hour Can’t we just go home?
