So I have managed to reach another thousand and as I have previously done, I made another texture pack! It is truly an amazing thing how I managed to reach 3k after basically going on a hiatus for an entire month and then coming back only to change fandoms XD I’d like to thank some of the followers that have stayed loyal to my trashy blog and some of the amazing mutuals that decided to stick with me, I just feel so very very grateful for you keeping up with me I admire your patience so so much! I know when I first started coding I really wanted to make updates tabs but never had the resource to start. So I whipped up an easy base code for everyone! It’s got extra lines of comments inside of it along with tips and such.

Of course this is a BASE CODE which means its the bare minimum. You can learn more about transitions here to stylize it and make something creative!

General Gif Tutorial

Hey everyone!

Some of you expressed interest in me posting a gif tutorial, and I’ve been wanting to post an updated gif tutorial anyway, so here it is!

I tried to make this tutorial as comprehensive as possible, and it covers getting videos and screencapping them (using either KMPlayer or MPlayer OSX Extended), making the gif on Photoshop, sharpening (in two ways), cropping and resizing, basic coloring, and then saving your gif.

I’m gonna be using this gif I made of of Finn from the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer (sharpened in the two ways I will explain in the tutorial) as a reference:

Hello, everyone! Today, I’m going to talk about something a little more abstract than my usual content. I’m going to be talking about the rule of thirds, a simple theory about composition that is extremely valuable when making graphics and icons.

You don’t really need to have any particular software to follow this tutorial–it’s theory, so it’s generally applicable to all! (There are a few Photoshop-specific bits at the end, however.)
