Note to self
kind people tend to be more optimistic during their lows because the greatest, most powerful currency in existence is compassion. amid darkness, or when you’ve made a mistake, patience and mercy extended to others—especially those “undeserving”—emerges again to redeem you in beautiful ways.
consciously or subconsciously, confidence in the gentle-hearted comes from knowing that they’re most embraced by the heavens and earth, who keep account of all goodness, and return every loan.
Les Étoiles (“The Stars”) in Ivry-sur-Seine, France, is one of the most iconic examples of post-war experimental housing. Designed by architect Jean Renaudie in the 1970s, the complex rejects the monotony of uniform blocks — instead, it bursts into angular terraces, sharp geometries, and lush rooftop gardens.
