Thoughts regarding Chyler's speech about cyber bullying
I've noticed how bad things have gotten. Therefore I'm glad it was brought up and addressed. Chyler's speech was so beautifully and well said. In my opinion it got the conversation started to start putting an end to the cyber bullying going on. So many people have been hurt including Chyler and I don't want it to escalate into something more severe. Social media is like a double edged sword it's good to make new friends but it's bad when it's used to seriously harm a person. You knowing judging from what Chyler said in her speech I don't think any of us realized how bad all the bullying has effected and took a toll on Chyler. Not to mention how hurt she was and still is by all this. I feel like all the constant online hate and cyber bullying could be damaging to anyones mental health. Take Chyler for instance just like you and I she has her own issues with mental health and all the negativity could very well being triggering for her as it is for many of us. Yesterday I saw these photos of Chyler after that moving speech she made and I see someone who has so much sadness and hurt inside her. It's noticeable how in her just how much the negativity going around has gotten to her. It hurts how she sucks up everything and how she has seen the horrible things said about her. It breaks my heart seeing someone I care so deeply about hurtingššto be honest it's sad how Chyler was pretty much bullied off social media ššit's why I feel like it's time to put an end to it before it escalates any further and someone gets seriously hurt.. Words have so much power to them and seriously inflict harm on a person. I feel like the best thing to do is think before you post something that can trigger or hurt someone so deeply..
